He stood alone atop the hill. His spine erect and blade drawn, he smiled upon the lifeless body before his feet. Blood dripped in massive drops from the blade now pointing away from his body at a near ninety degree angle. The man looked around him as numerous others took notice of his kill. They peered so awe-like at the blood on the sword's blade. A helmet of golden stature had been upon his head like an over-sized crown. It now lay upon the ground as if it were an unwanted object. He stooped down to pick it up, but paused before placing it upon his face. Ah the face of the swordsman was young, but worn. A scar was upon his face, long and bold, reaching from above his eyebrow over his right eye, and slicing through to the bottom of his cheek bone. Helmet upon the crown of his head, he stood erect once more to face the numerous cloaked men before him. A smile produced upon his face struck an unnerving fear into the men. They took several steps back before he took one step forward. Upon the hill, the man wielding the sword looked like a valiant knight.

The cloaked men turn and fled, for the fallen comrade had been their leader.

The man cleaned his sword with the cloak of his victory and placed it in its sheath. He looked towards the horizon towards a distant town; His next destination it would be.

OOC:
The Tech is pretty much everything blended together, hence the "Post-Apocalyptic". To be with all honesty, there will be some medieval technology all the way to some future/fantasy technology. However, everything will be hindered to ridiculous proportions. For example, some people may have "laser rifles", but they cannot produce their own ammunition for such because the ability to produce has long since been forgotten after the "Apocalypse".

Yes, I'm currently finishing up the next post to make this available to have people join, the first one is opening up on one of the few characters I will be following.

Furthermore, this isn't going to push into large-scale warfare, but will be scaled down to small skirmishes, fire fights, etc.

Sound good, or do you need more details?

So why the "ATTN: ADAN" then?

Are our post-apoc nations supposed to get involved (if we even have any)?
Or is it just your country that's walking the fuzzy line?

Why is this particular to the ADAN? Besides, I've only ever RP'ed MT/Early PMT, so I'm afraid Im out on this one.

The tinkle of the small bell over the door alerted the patrons of the Dragon's Keep tavern of a newcomer, whom looked around the tavern through a set of dark sunglasses. Heavy boots pronounced their existence as the newcomer walked from the door to the secluded darkness at the back of the tavern. He produced a long, thin pipe and some sort of herb. A flicker of flame later, and all the patrons of the tavern could see were small circles of smoke where the man's face had been.

Another jingle of the bells, this time a small boy walked in.

"No children under eighteen allowed near the bar, boy." The barkeeper spoke to the boy.

"My mother sent me to pick up some stuff," the boy replied.

"You Theresa's kid?" Queried the barkeeper.

"Yes sir!" The boy stated proudly.

"Alright, come over and sit down, I'll be right back." The barkeeper smiled and went through a doorway behind him as the boy walked up to the bar and sat down on the swivel stool. The boy took in his surroundings, examining the faces of each person. After a moment of looking around, his eyes set upon the eyes of the man in the smoky corner. When the man caught the boy's stare, the boy quickly turned away. The barkeeper returned with quite a few packages and a basket. "That all, William?" The barkeeper asked the boy.

"I think so...who's that in the corner?" William asked the barkeeper.

"He's a drifter. Don't ask too many questions, William. Just run along and take those packages to your mother. Alright?"

"Alright." William picked up the basket with the packages in it, and walked towards the door. He briefly looked towards the corner one last time, but the man had disappeared! Puzzled, the boy tried looking around the room once more, but saw nothing. With the pushing of the barkeeper, William walked out into the bright street of Shiam. He turned right and began walking down the street towards his house.

Shiam was a small town consisting of three local taverns, four butchers, a church, a bank, a mill, a local general store, several hundred houses, some farmland, and all enclosed in a large wall to protect town. It was nearly self-efficient, and in the northern region of Briska.

William found his street and turned on it, hugging the basket close to his chest. Four houses down, and he saw his small house. The house had a straw roof with white walls. It looked somewhat medieval. In fact, all the houses nearly looked the same style. The boy pushed open the gate and into the small garden yard. Small fish swam in the pond in the center of the main garden. William walked towards the door and rang the bell. The door opened with another boy smiling.

"William! About time you got home! Mum was having a fuss!" The boy spoke to the other.

"Can you help me with the groceries, Johnathan?" William begged his brother of the same age. Johnathan took the basket and walked straight into the kitchen.

Well, we aren't the original ADAN now are we? Seeing how everyone's gone and made their own versions and all...

Well, who said it had changed? -- And no-one's made their own versions. It's the same ADAN, just someone else started the thread.

Oh, and how's that ADAN on URANME doing?

That ADAN was murdered by heretics.

Sorry, been busy with other stuff.
