The Battle of Frigit took place in 45 B.C, it was the final battle of the War of Pines. The Battle of Frigit was over a small bridge tha led into the city of Tinsgraad (formally known as Nymphadoira) which held one of the largest armeries in the nation.
If the Akinators got thier hands on the wepons there they would be starong enough to take the whole county. This was the thought of King Likf the 7th. He thought that if he did not intercept and destroy the Akinators small force coming to the city, he would lose the war. He sent the majoity of his army to defend the city.
The General of the Akinators was the notorias Sego the Clever. He had beaten the Kings men on many occasions and was well known by Likf. He knew the key to getting the city of Tinsgraad would be a small bridge to the east known as the Bridge of Frigit.
Sego knew this battle would be close, so he sent out an envoy to fellow Akinators asking for reinforcements. The two armies met up on the Bridge. The Kings men were better ready for battle and had the advantage of numbers. The Akinators looked desperatly to thier renowned General. Sego moved his men into tighly knit rows. Then he had them wiat untill the first calvery charge came.
When the first charge came the middle of Segos rows collasped and the flanks closed in around the enemy calvery and attcked from all sides. This tactic worked for the next few charges.
Then when the king sent out his men at arms, Sego put his men into tightly knit phalax'es, with the narrow bridge pressing them into small rows they could not use thier numbers agenst the Akinators. The phalax'es held the kings men at bay untill the Akinators reinforcements arrived and finished them off.
The Battle ended with the capture of Likf. He had been caught fleeing the fighting. He was exicuted the next day. Sego had him flayed, then his body was quarterd and the burned. Sego then made the famous statement "Sic Semper Tyrannis". He became the first elected leader of Raphelidonium. He was assasinated 2 years later by a Loyalist named Igor Kaakan.
