Welcome to the Mirror Lakes Regional Open to all!
The mirror lakes region is a mirror of the vast lands of the USSR, EU, and Asia. Stretching also into Greenland and Melanesia, the land offers great virtue and opportunity. With already a somewhat "Bustling Economy", this is great to move your nation in to, or make your own colony, and move it in.
We have yet to make maps or a regional forum, so until then, place your claims here. Note, that this is an in-game region, at nationstates.net, so if you make your claim, you have to move in, and maintain one nation in the region. Here are some packages we give to you when you move in (You can choose any one).

1) Genova Starter Package:
1 - Five Airports, 20 terminals in each
2 - Two Medium gold/coal deposits w/ or w/out mines
3 - City, complete with buildings and electric and plumbing.
4 - Rail Link/Rail Station to other colonies and nations.
5 - Farmland, plants already planted and harvested, ready for the new year.

2) Hershey Economy Package:
1 - Stock Exchange Market, complete with stocks from surrounding countries
2 - Industrial rail links to surrounding areas
3 - City, already built, complete with rapid transit and buildings, with a commercial zone
4 - Jobs already in place for plumbing/electric
5 - 2 Airports, 50 Terminals in each

3) London Residential Package:
1 - 10 Airports, 10 terminals in each
2 - 7 cities, completely furnished with buildings, commercial sections, electric/plumbing also including rapid transit
3 - Commuter Rail Links to surrounding areas (High-Speed)
4 - 10 Malls in each city
5 - Rich agriculture supplied weekly, courtesy of East Ying, fresh, just for your citizens.

4) Apple Industrial Package:
1 - Rail Links, industrial, to surrounding areas
2 - Completely given to you with electric and plumbing
3 - Zoned and efficient medium, low and high industrial zones
4 - Mines, with large coal and other deposits.

Mirror Lakes Alliance
The Mirror Lakes Alliance is the alliance that will be set up for citizen nation-states of the region after the region surpasses 10 nations. It has yet to be made. It is not mandatory for member-nations, but it is highly recommended.

Mirror Lakes Economic Summit
The summit is mainly to discuss regional economy problems and advantages, and possibly set up new trade deals. It will officially start after the region surpasses 10 members.

OOC: I'm confused. Can I make a colony, and apply for it to be moved to Mirror Lakes? Or does it have to be above 100 million before I can apply? What are the ups and downs of each package?

The ups and downs are that some are focused on commercial, and have less residential areas, some are focused on Industrial not commercial. ETC.
The best one in the Genova, because it implies all the aspects.

Part of the USSR, including Sackhalin Pen. and everything bordering the sea of Othosk belongs to Kirav's Colony. Eastern China and Japan belongs to me, up to the Jialing River, wets of that, up to Tibet, belongs to Pareth.

All those are real places, mind you

And Yes, Barronia does have both northern ireland, and ireland itself

a) Has to create and maintain an efficient and fast form of transportation choosing from these types:

b) Has to stay according to budget decided by Secretary of The Treasury, and the Delegate.

c) Has to go to transportation-related press conferences

d) Advises Delegate on new ways for transportation

Does the Transport Secretary manage only international transport? We in Barronia have a fairly efficient public transport system, which we implement as standard in all our colonies, dependancies, etc.
