Zanski Claims Aleosite Zaynah
Zaynah had been contested territory for sone time. Once an area of Mhoudia inhabited by the curious Zaynite race and also religion, a fierce Guerilla war began after the Zansk-backed Mhoudian government began to use tactics of ethnic cleansing against the Zaynites. Zaynah was then occupied by UFAN and after another war in Mhoudia, was mostly demilitarised except for the capital, Mrahed, and became a protectorate under Aurum Domus.
Since then, Zanski had become a liberal Socialist nation under the so-called "peasant leader" Pablo Azani, who claimed Zanski to be "A Union of many Peoples", regarding minorities.
Today, after Aleos had successfully conquested the land, Zanski has laid claim to the land and is preparing for a full-scale invasion and plans to annex the territory. Among the reasons justified for this move are:
1. Zaynites are ethnicly Gharrakan, a group that makes up 20% of Zanski
2. Instability, Imperialism, Insurgency and Islamism (4 I's) are happening in the state of Mhoudia- They cannot have them, Aleos is Imperialist and allied to an enemy state- not good for border security
3. Zaynah will, under the Azanian Socialism system, have complete political freedom, being part of Zanski only by name
4.Aleos shattered an agreement between us and UFAN-the concequence being annexation on our behalf, so it should be ours.
WARNING TO ALEOS
AS UFAN HAVE REPEATEDLY FOUND OUT, GHARRAKLANDIC* CIVILLISATION IS ARROGANT AND DETERMINED; WE WILL NEVER ACCEPT ANYTHING LESX THAN VICTORY. A SMALL STATE SUCH AS YOURS CANNOT TAKE THE JUGGERNAUT THAT IS ZANSKI (wagdog). IF YOU TURN AROUND AND LEAVE, WE WILL FORGIVE AND FORGET. YOU COULD EVEN EXPECT AN ARMS DEAL OR TRADE DEAL IN THE NEAR FUTURE. DON'T, AND YOUR MEN WILL EXPERIENCE THINGS SO BAD IT MAY SHATTER THE FOUNDATIONS OF YOUR STATE.

Let it be known to the government of Zanski that *any* hostile moves against Aleosan will be considered an attack against Gholgoth itself, in which case you and any nation/state or alliance that supports you will be smashed into oblivion. In the event of an attack by your military against our brothers in Aleos, Automagfreek will respond swiftly and aggressively.
This is your first and only warning...the Goths are not to be fucked with. Believe that.

Sixty Artillery were poised at the border, ready to fire GPS-guided rockets at Aleosite bases.
They would fire about twenty a minute, once the order was given.
Colonel Curda stood at the border fence.
Gholgothic? These people have never lived in Zaynah or Gharrakland for that matter until that clown Aleos booted the protectorate out-one small nation against what hould have been a whole alliance... Gharrakans, however, the cream of the crop of our nation have lived there since Gharrakland was re-unified in the 13th century. If we get these colonialists out then we will have scored a major victory. If not, we will just call the attention of the CA. he thought.

Joint Gholgothan authority was informed immediately as enemy ordnance began to pour forth into Aleosan territory, to which a prompt response began to be organized. From St. Freeksburg a rapid response taskforce consisting of several Deterrent class missile frigates, Vengeance class carriers, supporting destroyers and electronics warfare platforms. On board these ships were some of Automagfreek's most elite forces; a platoon of Sentinel Stalkers and three companies of professional Freekish Rangers...while elements of the famed 406th Legion were put on alert in case they were needed to bolster friendly forces in the area.
This would be a different strategy for the AMF military, thought not one totally unknown. History had proven that Freekish special operations were capable of the near unthinkable; with entire wars being won with just their boots on the ground in the pre-Sentinel era. Supporting them in this endeavor would be the formidable Stratosfighter II air superiority fighter as well as the new FAF-1 'Vassago' (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=1541), Automagfreek's next generation attack helicopter that had stunned the military with its performance i live fire exercises.
In the meantime, AMF high command contacted the Aleosan commander on the ground and requested coordinates for Porcupine ICCM strikes to soften whatever hard targets or targets of opportunity that presented themselves. This would take some pressure off Gothic forces who would be alone until the Freekish taskforce under command of Colonel Majaar could arrive and project itself.

The red phone was ringing. The red phone never rang. Imperator Anton Malustar was well aware of the circumstances under which use of the red phone was transformed from a federal crime into a matter of national security, and unless the man on the other end was an idiot begging to be demoted, the fact that the red phone was ringing meant war. Malustar tossed down the report he had been reading and picked up the phone gingerly, as if it threatened to bite him. "Hello?"
"Imperator Malustar." The voice on the other end was angry. Strained. "This is General Coldstream. Sir, a communique from the Freekish military just arrived, reporting an attack by a nation known as Zanski, a member of the CA, on Aleos, our Gholgothan ally. The Intelligence Division has verified this, sir. You know the protocol, sir." The line went dead; there was nothing more to say. Malustar clenched a fist and grinned. Attacking a Gholgoth member was like sticking one's head into a lion's mouth, and the results would be the same.

OFFICIAL MILITARY COMMUNIQUE
To: Sacred Emperor Ishamael
Divine One, the Freeks have informed us that Aleos is under attack from infidel forces. The aggressive nation here is known as Zanski, a member of the CA, and has ignored previous warnings to cease and desist. Apparently Zanski wants to reclaim lost territory or somesuch, and believes they are strong enough to withstand us. I have sent orders to Admiral Kratistos with the Ninth Fleet: they have orders to deploy Balefires to destroy the Zanskian spearhead moving into Aleos. If your Divine Majesty disapproves, these orders can of course be countermanded at any time. I have also requested that Minister Vidann issue a declaration of war at 1750 hours. I am on my way to the War Room at the moment. Blood and Honor.
Signed,
Imperator Anton Malustar

OFFICIAL IMPERIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
The Imperium wishes to announce that a state of war has been declared between it and the Zanskian government, as well as any states who lend military support to the Zanskian invasion of Aleos. The territory in question belongs to the government of Aleos, a member nation of Gholgoth, and Zanski has resorted to vile attempts at intimidation and bluster in an effort to illegally exert control over those lands. Now that they have violated the sovereignty of Aleos, they have committed an unforgivable transgression answerable only by war. Full and unconditional surrender is the only route of escape for the Zanskian heathens, and Kregaian forces are inbound to smash your invasion force. May the gods devour you all eternally.
Signed,
Abram Vidann, Minister of Foreign Affairs

Admiral Kratistos, Commander of the Ninth Fleet, smiled a wolf's smile as he read his orders. His fleet had been drifting on patrol through international waters for several weeks now, and the Ninth hadn't seen action since the Second War of Corporatist Aggression. His flagship, the HIMS Abaddon, was one of the most powerful ships ever to sail the seas, and yet its guns had lain silent for years on end. That dormancy was about to come to an abrupt end. Striding over to the helm, he ordered, "Set course immediately for Zaynah. The Imperator wants us to deliver a message."
Tapping a button on his headset, the Admiral opened a channel to all ships and aircraft, and boomed, "Men of Kregaia! This very day, the infidel has ignored the warnings of more powerful and more righteous men and profaned the soil of our Gholgothan allies. This very day, Imperial honor is being called into question. But by the grace of the gods, we of the Ninth Fleet have the honor of striking the first blow against the heathens and in defense of Gholgoth. I know all of you are ready for the task ahead, and I am proud to face it with such men as you by my side. Blood and Honor!" he roared, and then signed off, smiling as he heard the crew shouting in kind. Filled with anticipation, Admiral Kratistos turned to face the bridge window and the endless seas beyond. War beckoned, and it was a hard call to resist.

Aleos. Central Command.
Tap, tap, tap.

Tap, tap, tap.
A juggernaut. A small state unable to face it.
Tap, tap, tap.
Fury, anger, destruction.
Tap, tap, tap.

Tap, tap, tap.
War.
Zanski. According to the words of its leaders a state that the Peacekeepers would be unable to face. These thoughts brought only amusement to the Supreme Commander. The foolish leaders of that country assumed that the Aleosites will bend and accept the demands made and retreat politely out of a land peacekeepers fought for.
The tapping stopped.
The belief was inherently flawed. It was not as much a problem of resources or wealth, but one of pride and principle. The Peacekeepers would not admit the loss of Zaynah now. For the government of Zanski to attempt snatching the province out of the lion’s maw was a wrong decision, one that they would regret and pay for.
Braca lifted from his chair.
To add to the insult they had threatened to do “things so bad it may shatter the foundations of your state,” a common threat perhaps for the barbarians but one that the Aleosites were not going to treat lightly. Should the Zanski troops find themselves in a position in which they could actually torture or harm Peacekeepers, they would not like the consequences. If one soldier suffered at their hands, the pain would be returned a thousand fold.
A door opened, an officer entered the room.
At his call the entire nation would rise. From the northern nurseries to the fearsome garrisons of the Road of Sisif just one word was needed for the country to wage war. A long time ago the nation had picked the path of the blade, the path of war and strife, for they had understood that there is no lasting peace without it being built on a throne of skulls, blood and sweat. Should the people of Zanski need to be taught this lesson, the Peacekeepers would only be too happy to oblige.
A few quick words, laughter.
And if Zanski brought in its elusive allies then they would see that Aleos did not stand alone in the world for its brothers were vigilant. Let the nations supporting Zanski show their face if they dared, they would be met with the fires of the inferno.
A click, an image showed.
They had ignored the warning given to them by the brothers of Gholgoth. They had not waited for a reply, cowardly attacking the Peacekeepers before a reply could be drafted, perhaps thinking that this action would influence the decision taken by High Command.
They had made their own choices, now they would have to live with them. With that in mind, Braca wrote down his words on paper, to be sent to the world in order of importance.
-
To my fellow leaders in Gholgoth,
Thank you my brothers for your support. I see that despite your warnings they have chosen the path of war and conflict. I say that only they are to blame for what will happen next, for we will show no restraint in dealing with this offence and I welcome you to the training ground that is Zanski.
To Automagfreek and the Kregaians, we see that your forces have already deployed to aid our military and for that we thank you.
Let us show them the folly of their ways brothers.
Supreme Commander of Aleos
Braca.
-
To the last leader of Zanski,
You will regret this.
Braca.

Zaynah.
Commander Icarus had only recently arrived to Zaynah, instated as the overall commander of the Peacekeeper forces in the area. The situation was yet to cool down after operation Chrysalis, but things were well under way with crates of ammunition and soldiers arriving daily and digging operations for urban ‘development’ already commencing. With all the fortification effort placed in the region it was only natural for a close vigil to be kept over its borders. Deep embedded in the Aleosite mentality the need for vigilance was a defining trait of their way of warfare and this was no exception.
And then it came, the warning from the ‘leader’ of Zanski, claiming this region for his country. Orders from above were simple, prepare and be ready for anything they might try, do not start anything. It was clear that if the neighbouring nation of Zanski were to start anything, the Peacekeepers would be grossly outnumbered in the area for only elements of the full projected for to be deployed here had arrived with more on their way, doubtable however that they would reach the province in a timely manner should something happen to ignite the flames of war once more.
Icarus knew that things were not going to be easy, the task ahead of him hard, for he knew that once attacked, the Peacekeepers will have to show exactly what they were made of. Only forty six thousand men and woman as the fighting force with many more offering logistical support and half filled ammunition caches. A challenge that made his blood boil. How much could he go with what he had? How much land could he cover? It remained to be seem when the first shot was to be fired.
The UAVs and satellites photos proved to be most useful revealing the moving enemy troops as they headed towards Zanski, estimates of numbers of composition being made. It left a bitter taste in his mouth to know that the numbers of the initial offensive were so small.
Quickly, the artillery was deployed, the men armed and prepared to go and all the bases placed on high alert. All that was needed now was for someone to push the trigger. The wait it could be said did more to increase the feeling of anxiousness than the troops were feeling. ‘We want to fight!’ were the unspoken words everyone felt. To defend the country, to die in battle, such was the path to glory.
“Here we go,” Icarus finally lifted his eyes from a screen. The Zanski forces unleashed ordinance against the Peacekeepers, he was now in command. As the missiles streaked across the sky towards their bases the army started moving. The numbers on the ground might have been low, but in the air and on the sea, the Peacekeepers were not to be trifled with.
Identifying the column of advancing Zanski forces, the Aleosites headed to greet them. Formations of attack planes, bombers and escorts joined over the skies of Zaynah heading towards the attackers, poised to unleash their deadly cargo. Other planes stood ready, waiting to replace the ones that had sortied at the drop of a hat should they be needed. From the seas, missiles started their journey towards various tagets in Zanski, aimed at destroying coordination between the elements of the enemy army. Overkill, but for the Peacekeepers it was just a way to prepare the way for the counteroffensive.
It came as a surprise that the number of artillery pieces the Peacekeepers had, outnumbered those pounding at their positions and they fully intended to take advantage of that by adding the shells to the deadly mix already heading their way. If the nation of Zanski wanted war, then it would have it.
Finally, as the artillery and planes of the peacekeepers started tearing the enemy apart, the missiles launched by them finally hit. There had been warning and there had been precautions taken, but even so in war there are always loses.
As he read upon the figures depicting the casualties, Icarus received a call from the freeks, Immediately data was sent back, various targets pointed and secure bases revealed for the fellow Gholgothic troops to arrive. Colonel Majaar would be well received by the peacekeepers. And that was not the only good news received. The Kregaians were deploying too, their fleet bolstering the number of ships the Aleosites could relly upon.
“Let’s not stay behind,” Commander Stark spoke to his troops as the Aleosite tanks started roaring and the AFV’s moved. As the enemy would be broken by artillery, missiles and planes, the Peacekeepers would storm their ranks, destroying and devastating.

The debate raged on for hours. The High Leader and High council figuring out on what to do in this siuation. They where the smaller brothers of Gholgoth and thus did not know if they had a place in this conflict. Common sense says the Freeks could take this hands down but it was one of there bigger brothers getting attack so did not family protect family? If a nation of Gholgoth Minior was attacked a Gholgoth Major nation would protect them so would they be expected to do the same in a reversed role?
Would they even need help in the first place? What if the CA got involved? Could Zackaroth handle a multi-front war? Could they handle a full-scale invasion if it ever lead to that? In the dead of night it was agreeded upon that Zackaroth would help but would not send a massive invasion force. They would send enough to help out but not get in the way.
Offical Message from Goverment of Zackaroth:
It has come to my notice that the event of Zanski attacking our ally and Gholgoth nation of Aleos has forced my hand to send a invasion party to assist the other nations of Gholgoth. Our brothers in Gholgoth are commited to helping us if ever such a time is needed, and in return we pledge to help them. As of now a state of war exist between Zackaroth and Zanski. All Zanski forgieners are being deported within 24 hours and any still in the country after that will imprisoned and sent to a work camp until the war is over. May whatever deity you believe in have mercy upon your soul, because the Gholgoth nations will not.

2nd Mandalorian Overseas Fleet
Admiral Zafir paced the deck of the Super Dreadnaught as he viewed the area around his ship. Surrounding the behemoth were hundreds of varying classed ships, ranging from the mighty carriers to the much-smaller frigates. Hundreds of thousands of Maldorians had been sent to aid their corporate ally, Zanski. Once at the allied nation, Maldorian infantry and vehicles would pour out of the vessels, which would set up positions in the country. The 4th Maldorian Expeditionary Force was expecting the worst; they would be headed up against a huge array of armies determined to end Zanski. Maldorians was here to prevent that from happening.

Admiral Kratistos, disturbed by the sudden beeping, turned to face the tactical display in the center of the Abaddon's bridge. It had been displaying every ship and airborne aircraft in the fleet ever since the voyage began, of course, but now, on the extreme edges of the map, a collection of pale green images represented enemy contacts.
"Report!" he barked, gripping the edges of the display. Whatever filth dared to defend Zanski against his men would have to be swept away quickly before the main enemy could be smashed, and he intended to find out what, exactly, it was that stood in his way. A lieutenant strode up beside him, saluted, and stated, "Admiral, UAV patrols have confirmed satellite contacts of a foreign fleet in the area. It appears to be Maldorian, sir, and rather sizable. Quite possibly outnumbering our own fleet. Orders?" Kratistos thought, and then replied, "Deliver a quick warning. Give them one minute to cease and desist before we open fire. They're included in the declaration of war anyway. Prepare the fleet, scramble fighters, and get me Strategic Command. Go!"

OFFICIAL MILITARY COMMUNIQUE
To: Commander of the Maldorian Fleet
We warn you that, by militarily aiding Zanski, you will include yourself in the Kregaian declaration of war and as such will be immediately targeted and destroyed by our fleet. You have one minute to respond with a satisfactory assurance that you are leaving the area before we open fire.
Admiral Kratistos
International Waters. Zanski.
So far the fleet had relegated itself to support duty for the efforts done by the Peacekeepers on land, providing the logistics needed for the ongoing operations on land, but soon the ship were to witness battle of their own.
Satellites provided admiral Rigel with some very disturbing information and recon missions done by UAVs only confirmed it. Someone was deploying to aid Zanski. By the looks of it that someone was none other than the nation of Maldorians, an older fellow nation of the Corporate Alliance of which Zanski was a member. Action was immediately taken. The fleet started moving, joining up with the Kregaians, but even so the enemy outnumbered the allied fleet in numbers of surface ships available.
Missiles were aimed and whatever fighter was available was launched, preparing for interception whilst escorts starting scouring the seas for submarines. Under the waters, the slumbering colossi of steel started their trek forward arming their torpedoes and looking for the kill.
As the Kregaians issued their ultimatum, the admiral readied to give his orders. One simple message was sent to the Kregaian admiral in regards to the affair.
“We’re ready.”

Admiral Kratistos raised an eyebrow at the Maldorian reply. Short, brusque, and insolent, but he had expected no better. "Heathen vermin," he muttered to himself, seeing the infidel prayer written at the bottom. "Very well. They asked for it." Turning to his aide, he issued the necessary orders, amusement ringing in his tone. "Lieutenant, inform the fleet to arm missiles, and have my ship prepare to fire a broadside. Fire on my mark." The man nodded and hurried away to issue the orders, and Kratistos opened the channel he had reserved previously for Strategic Command. "Arm the ASATs, and prepare to launch godrods on my mark." Shouting, so that both the men on the other end of the line and the bridge crew could hear him, Kratistos roared, "Mark!"
The first, and most terrifying, omen of the battle was the sound of the Abaddon's mighty 32" guns firing, sending a dozen massive shells hurtling towards the enemy fleet. Quieter, but perhaps deadlier, weapons came in the form of thousands of Vanquisher anti-shipping missiles and hundreds of the much bigger, faster, and deadlier Lepanto cruise missiles, capable of sinking a battleship with a single well-placed hit. From beneath the seas, missile submarines launched the famous Pandemonium II ballistic missiles, about a thousand in all, which soared up almost into space...before plummeting down, accelerating to speeds of roughly Mach 25 before detonating their massive payloads of HE on impact. The Vanquishers sped toward the enemy escorts; however, the Lepantos, shells, and ICBMs were aimed at the heart of the armada, at the carriers. As for the dreadnaught...as the true masterstroke of genius, the threat to that vessel came not from the Kregaian fleet but from the heavens themselves.
There are 160 Kregaian weapons satellites in space. The Maldorian fleet was unspeakably lucky that only three of them were orbiting over that particular area when the battle broke out...but one should never be too quick to count one's blessings, for even three Demiurge satellites made for an extraordinarily deadly force. Each loaded (amid numerous weapons of mass destruction) four dozen godrods, eight meters of depleted uranium that spelled death for anything unfortunate enough to be struck by it. And, when Strategic Command gave the order, all three of these satellites launched godrods at the enemy's flagship. They tore into the atmosphere like the spears of gods, two dozen of them in all, burning brighter than the sun as they fell at no less than twenty kilometers per second, straight towards the Maldorian super-dreadnaught. And all the while, the Kregaian fighters assembled in the air above their fleet, preparing to attack the enemy.
The war had begun.

"Holy shit! We are under attack!" The flagship of the fleet was in pandemonium as officers struggled to maintain whatever order was left. Admiral Zafir looked in horror as hundreds of missiles were headed straight towards the fleet. The Super Dreadnaught was obliterated in less then a second as the dozens of godrods tore up the now-decimated ship.
The oncoming missiles were being hit by RAM systems, Mark 45 naval guns, and masses of CIWS. Nonetheless, scores of cruisers and destroyers had been beaten by the shear numbers of missiles. Towards the back of the fleet, Sunni class battleships let loose their 9 18.1 inch guns. Around them, F-16's and Whispers had began the assault upon the enemy fleet. Once in range, anti-shipping missiles would be launched upon the enemy infidels.
With the command ship destroyed and the admiral killed, order was temporarily lost. A Dark Admiral, Sir Mehmed, aboard one of the few remaining Sunni Class battleships decided to take action. "All remaining ships, get the hell out of here! Have the cruisers hold them off, but get the damn carriers out of here!"

Shells roared towards the Kregaian fleet, shrieking as they passed the speed of sound. However, the Imperial sailors stood firm, activating the Kregaian standard air-defense triad: first hefty MIMS missiles streaked in, blasting many of the shells off their courses; then RAMs detonated in clusters, to achieve the same goals, and finally, those ships which were still targets opened up with CIWS, although against such hefty objects as these shells, the 37mm rounds were of little use. Finally, with a deafening boom, explosions resounded as the remaining shells found their targets, causing crippling damage to a battleship, and sinking three light cruisers and a missile cruiser. The rest, blasted hopelessly off course, splashed into the water and sank.
Then the fleet received the Maldorian communique.
Admiral Kratistos, for a moment, stood still in surprise. Then he threw his head back and laughed. "Perfect!" he roared in excellent humor, while his crew looked on in puzzlement. What on earth could have put the Admiral in this good of a mood? He ordered a tech to open a channel to the enemy fleet, and boomed, "Maldorians, this is Admiral Kratistos of the Kregaian Imperial Navy. We accept your surrender and will not harass you as you leave, provided you do, in fact, leave Zaynah immediately and do not return. Certainly, if you attack any Kregaian vessels, we will be forced to destroy you. However, again, if you leave immediately with peaceful intentions, we will let you go and remove the state of war between our governments." He then turned to a comm officer. "Forward the Maldorian reply to Sacred Emperor Ishamael. He will want to see this, I think." Turning again to the helmsman, he ordered, "Continue course for Zanyah. The Zanskian filth will be next."

Claudius Griffincrest stood before the board, dozens of feelings going through him. He was so happy only moments before, as he sat in his office sipping coffee and reading the newspaper. The Griffincrest Corporation had not been to war in so long, and Claudius was beginning to settle down. He was old now, and enjoying all of the wealth he had earned over the years. This emergency board meeting, however, had completely changed his thoughts.
Zanski, a member of the Corporate Alliance, had foolishly attacked a member of Gholgoth, and was now feeling the results of such a move. Even worse, they did not consult any other member of the Corporate Alliance, and went in on their own. It was not until the odds turned against them that they sought help from Griffincrest. This enraged Claudius. If Zanski was big enough to invade the Aleosan territory, they should have been prepared for the aftermath. To Griffincrest, the most important part of any war was knowing your enemy first. Had Zanski done any resource gathering on Aleos, or even simply informed Griffincrest that they were preparing for a conflict, then perhaps this entire situation could have been avoided. Now, as a result, Griffincrest was on the verge of war with the juggarnaut of Gholgoth.
To make things even worse, the nation of Maldorians decided to take it upon themselves to play hero, and charged in recklessly, only to be embarrased by a fleet from Warmaster and forced to withdraw before even returning fire. The Corporate Alliance was being embarrased. Why was nobody consulting Griffincrest before engaging on what they would call "CA missions". It was just getting ridiculous out there. The only thing Griffincrest could do now was act, or else have the CA name be tarnished by the Maldorian cowardice.
Several dozen aircraft were loaded with mercenaries. Two thousand Griffincrest mercenaries, and several tons of supplies, were being readied to land in Zanki. They would move to the capital of the nation, and hope that they could sway the tide of war should Gholgoth make it there, which they likely would. Griffincrest in no way wanted this war, and so were not going to commit any large amount of forces. This was all that they would send. Zanski was a fool to enter this conflict, and their military would have to pay for it.
Dear Azrael,
We do not wish to engage Freekish forces in any way. Our men are only being sent to Zanski to safeguard its capital city and the civilian populace there. We see no need to crush all of Zanski for this debacle. It is unnecessary, and will cause a needless loss of life on both sides. Removing Zansk forces from Aleosan territory would be enough, wouldn't it? We see no reason to destroy the entire nation when defending your allies territory is all that is needed.
Signed,
Claudius Griffincrest, CEO, Grifiincrest Oil Incorporated
Zanski will pull out its troops shortly, if Aleos agrees to cease its defence and attend peace talks about the return of the province, or the keeping of the province for that matter.

Apologies for the OOC within the IC thread but i couldn't find an OOC Thread. Zanski what are you on about? A SMALL STATE SUCH AS YOURS CANNOT TAKE THE JUGGERNAUT THAT IS ZANSKI (wagdog). This makes no sense. Also I feel I must conclude by saying "Was it worth it?" considering the United Federation of Allied Nations just wanted peace and was moving to invest 2.9 Trillion USD into Zanski as part of the aid package.

"Sir, you won't believe this. The 2nd Mandalorian Overseas Fleet is turning around. All we know is that there was an engagement and the flagship was sunk by swarms of godrods." The Mandalore's face turned crimson as he absorbed the information.
"Whoever turned that fleet around is as good as dead. Once the fleet reaches Maldorians, bring the admiral to me. That bastard is in for a surprise. I suppose we must resort to plan B of our scheme. Call in the Neo-Crusaders."
"Yes, sir. I suppose the operation is a go, then. They will be informed to reach Zanski by means of civilian aircraft."
Heavily Encrypted Message to Zanksi
Dear brother, our previous hope of sending troops to you has been shattered by the idiocy of our admirals. This time, however, will be different. Onboard Flight 139 are a few dozen Special Forces units. We do not know what you can use with them, it's up to you. In the cargo hold of the aircraft are munitions and a few light vehicles. We wish you luck in your most noble operation.
~The Mandalore.

Flight 139
Captain Udeen took his seat aboard the 747 as the other special forces units proceeded to find their spots. Flight 139, headed to Zanski, was a passenger plane. The beauty of flying passengers, Udeen thought, is that I don't look suspecting. The Neo-Crusader forced himself a chuckle as the flight attendant began his informational part of the flight, addressing seatbelts, oxygen masks, and the like.
The message sent by Zanski quickly reached the desk of Braca. He could only raise an eyebrow in question at his secretary before typing a short response.

Admiral Kratistos laughed as he read the Zanskian offer of peace. This was yet another instance where he need not even consult his superiors for orders. He knew very well what their instructions would be. Zanski offered peace…at the price of negotiations over Zaynah. In short, a return to the status quo, plus an opportunity for the Zanskians to feign some entitlement to Zaynah. A demand. They were still proud…but they would learn soon enough. The Balefires had assembled in the skies over his fleet, and the other aircraft of his armada, and in a matter of minutes they would rain destruction down upon the enemy.
There they flew, tens of thousands of feet above the ships of the fleet, even the colossal Abaddon looking like a toy from such heights. They swirled through the heavens, squadron upon squadron of ebony Balefires and flights of Overlord bombers bristling with weaponry, with the dark mass of Twilight gunships hovering far below. It was truly an awe-inspiring sight…and then they soared away, like fallen angels hurtling through the abyss, tearing through the skies. The Balefires, more than two thousand of them, led the assault, a wave of midnight-black fighters almost indistinguishable against the night sky, followed several miles behind by squadrons of light bombers and AWACS support craft, with the gunships flying much slower at their own, much lower, altitude. It wasn’t long before the Balefires reached extreme range of the Zanskian invasion forces…and they proceeded to wreak havoc.
The utter lack of air support for the Zanskian forces rendered them frighteningly vulnerable, and the Balefires lost no time in exploiting this. A wing of thirty-six fighters was sent after the enemy attack helicopters, launching a pair of AAMs each before rocketing in at Mach 3 with chainguns blazing. The rest, hundreds upon hundreds of them, launching AGMs practically at will, staying far out of range of any small anti-aircraft weapons on the tanks or armored vehicles. Occasionally one would dive down, spraying 23mm depleted-uranium rounds over a light armored vehicle, before pulling up and accelerating far past the speed of sound to return to its comrades in the sky. And all that was before the Overlords showed up.
Soaring low at 6,000 feet above the enemy forces, the 336 pilots that made up that arm of the task force smiled to themselves as they armed their weapons. This situation could not have been more in the Imperium’s favor, and the Zanskians would learn it shortly. Each launched a pair of Manticore guided anti-tank missiles, and then opened their central bomb bays, dropping a quartet of 950-kg laser-guided bombs apiece onto the enemy forces. Their 30mm cannons roaring, firing round after round at the enemy armor, the bombers ranged over the Zanskian invasion force like vultures over a fresh kill, raining destruction upon the foe.
The message sent by Zanski quickly reached the desk of Braca. He could only raise an eyebrow in question at his secretary before typing a short response.
Official Statement to the nation of Zanski.
Where's the surrender?
Supreme Commander of Aleos.
Braca.
Not Yet. We will withdraw immediately in return for peace talks and a return to the status quo ante bellum. These may end with our government recognising your rule over Zaynah, and thus your newly-aquired colony may not be in danger from our military or Mhoudia's Guerillas.
The statement made by the government of Zanski in reply to the Aleosite inquiry left Braca with a twisted expression on his face. They thought that after attacking the Peacekeepers without giving them even the respite needed for a diplomatic response things were going to go to normal? To allow the enemy to stab and twist was not something he was willing to see happening, there was more than just a piece of land at stake, his very pride denying his acceptance of this offer.
Official Statement to the nation of Zanski.
Perhaps we have been misunderstood in our earlier message, it is inconceivable for us to stand down on the terms of your nation. Your aggression in Zaynah demands that the only way for us to achieve peace is the unconditional surrender of your nation.
We encourage you to accept this offer for it would spare much unnecessary grievances and bloodshed on the battlefield.
Supreme Commander of Aleos.
Braca.

Conservative:"So Zanski has attempted to invade..."
Democrat:"Aleosite Zaynah."
Conservative:"Right, this isn't the first time they've done this isn't it? Am I right Nod?"
Nod: "No, they attempted to pull this stunt in Chitzeland repeatly, and they don't know when to quit, we had to pull 3 shows of force before they got the message, even now we have to have a large missile defense there to cover any other attempts by them."
Socialist: "What are the current match ups?
Democrat: The anti-Zanski nations have a majority, but if Zanski can call enough to it's aid that could quickly change.
Conservative: "Then I do believe it is time to put a stop to them, let's put it to vote."
-International Message from the Lone Alliance-
In a 17 to 2 vote by the Council, The Allied States of The Lone Alliance has released a declaration of war against the Nation of Zanski, we are prepared to offer any ground force assistance for any landing operation against Zanski.
you really have no clue about any of this. Zaynah was officially a province of Mhoudia until an old dictator of ours orchestrated genocide against the Zaynites. It was governed by UFAN until another war, this time by Mhoudia, put it under Aurum Domus's direct jurisdiction.
Aleos, a nation that no-one had heard of, suddenly turned up and claimed it. UFAN was overwhelmed. So we decided to invade for the benefit of national security.
Basicly, Aleos does not even control all of Zaynah since UFAN were still fighting against them when I invaded.
OOC: I have had a freedom fighting group in Zaynah under my OOC control since before Aleos was created, so I still have that. ask UFAN (not Vetaka, he hates me) if you dont believe me.
If we declare unilateral withdrawal, what will happen?

OOC: Well, it would depend on what Aleos and Gholgoth as a whole decided would be best. But that might be getting a little bit ahead of yourself, since you are under attack from thousands of advanced fighters and bombers and have no air cover to speak of to prevent that same force from slaughtering your invaders, not to mention Aleos's attack. No offense, but you have yet to respond to either, and it would be best if you focused on that before trying to weigh your options OOCly.

"Ah, Zanski. Haven't heard about them for a while. How long has it been since that Imperial Socialist failure? His Imperial Majesty Nicholas CCLXVIII Kitakaze Sawatsky paused as he enjoyed a glass of Bourbon, "Well, I suppose I wanted it to fail, and made it.""
"It appears that the current government is attempting to seize Zaynah, from its new owners whoever they are. Anyways international support is overwhelmingly against them." replied the Chief Kommissariat of Foreign Affairs, Lord Keisuke Heihachi.
"Excellent, the perfect opportunity to finish what we had started before."
"Your Majesty, if you forgive me for asking, why didn't we support the Imperial Socialist Government? In fact we sabotaged the plan, making the Grand Fleet head the wrong way, cancel various aid missions, and call back our forces. Why the sudden change of heart?"
"Simple, Imperial Socialism is a past cause, made during a mad time when Communists, Bloody Communists actually managed to seize the capital and set up their evil nations. Imperial Socialism is a mere name made by Emperor Nicholas CCLIX to appeal to those commie sympathisers while validating Imperial rule. Thank Nick we never followed through. However the Imperial Socialists cling on to ideas of equality, and the idea that any race can be made superior, imagine, any foreigner can be raised to be an equal of a Nicksyllvanian? Nonsense, not to mention their secular government that has dilluted our devotion to the gods. As well as those Mhoudian being dirty damned muslims. No my komrade, Imperial Socialism is an old cause, one that has no meaning, one that impedes the greatness of the fatherland, it had to be destroyed, as does this Socialist menace. Mobilize our men in the area, and bring in additional forces to prepare for the future, do not act yet, we will first see how things go along."
"Yes my Emperor."
"Oh, and hows king, whatsisname?"
"King Arma? He's living in a small country house near the Takagi Manor."
"Call him up, we may have use of him."

OOC: If you are referring to the argument that since there suddenly is no coast, it couldn't have been invaded, I'll say it again: if this is true, it is completely your fault for not providing an accurate map.
You've been trying to wriggle out of actually fighting us for several weeks now, and while I don't have a map of Zaynah handy, I'm betting that until recently there was a coast there. This is disgusting RPing behavior. If you were afraid to fight Aleos you shouldn't have invaded, and now you have to face the consequences of your decisions. It's not like this is going to hurt you to do this; Nationstates is a game, and being attacked in Nationstates is hardly something to be as afraid of as you seem to be. If you can't face the consequences of your actions you really shouldn't be on this forum at all.
For the last time: please respond to Aleos's and my attacks against your army. If you have OOC issues feel free to communicate them via telegram.

actually, its in my hands since there was no coast and zanski has never historically owned it, it has been an autonomous division of mine since the thirteenth century and I hope Aleos recognises that and backs off, everyone in gholgoth should urge him to.
OOC: Thats is bull once more. You nor Zanski never brought up the no coast part when Aleos intially took over the land. Hell if theres no coast how was Zanski sailing to it? You both just don't seem to understand what roleplay etiquette is. When something doesn't go your way you try to change thing OOCly so they go your way.
actually, it should be in my hands since there was no coast and zanski has never historically owned it, it has been an autonomous division of mine since the thirteenth century and I hope Aleos recognises that and backs off, everyone in gholgoth should urge him to.
I will bring up a piece of evidence soon.
The Karazi smiled and looked at the Zansk rep, who gave the thumbs up "Then consider the war over." He said. The following day, the six million troops stationed at the Zaynite-Mhoudian borders and ten million at the Zansk-Zaynite borders were called off.
Ten minutes later, the Zansk Rep came back to the room, where people were shaking hands.
"My general wants a UFAN resolution within a week concerning the 10,000 troops in Mrahed. If not, he says consider this ceasefire temporary."
He nodded and walked back into his jeep, and drove off.
SIC: just to go over things:
*Zaynite Domus Protectorate
*DMZ 19M2 from Mrahed
*succession of Karazistan to Mhoudia
* 10,000 troops in Mrahed
*Limited Growth outside Mrahed
*Recognition of Jayir as part of Mhoudia
* Zansk-Mhoudian pullout from Zaynah
* UFAN non-interferance in Mhoudi-Zansk affairs
OOC: Domus, will Zaynah be actually a NS nation, or will you not actually create a seperate entity OOC?
Newly-appointed foreign minister Trey Athura looked at the letters on hs desk. After negotiating with President Veran Atanah, he came up with the following responses:
Well, in Mhoudia, the coast is guarded by HLFISA snipers and the Karazi tribe. However, if you land at Ville de Jayir, in the Jayirian Autonomous Region of Zanski, you will be welcomed by the locals, who, though ethnicly they are a hybrid of Mhoudian and French, we call them Jayirie. They feel more Jayirie than Mhoudian so you can feel free to land there. once there, by Jeep it is one day to Zaynah and Karazistan(The UFAN occupied zone), by tank two days.
We would like you to push the front south and destroy as many HLFISA artillery as possible and destroy any forest to take cover away. Thank you.
If you do some more research, you will find that Karazistan is the Eastern portion of the green zone on my map and thus the coastal one.
Karazistan was ceded to mhoudia.
My computer broke down and I haven't been able to change the map.
I only got access to this computer after serious negotiations with my father after I nearly broke it once. it doesn't have photoshop or paint.
I thought I was godmodding before, but now I actually believe that Aleos should have done more research before invading me and it is his fault entirely that he is in a mess now.
As Mhoudia is my puppet, I announce that he ceded it over to me.

OOC:Zanski thats really pathetic, you are Mhoudia and Mhoudia is you, so quit bullcrapping.
mhoudia hereby cedes zaynah to zanski.
OOC: OK, this is getting ridiculous. Zanski, although that bit about Karazistan does explain a few things, the map (http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l147/Terezanski/zanski-1.jpg) displayed what IIRC looks like an inlet just above Zaynah so technically it's still accessible. Also, much of the 'landing' was heliborne and therefore could be accessed anyway. You turned Zaynah over to us at the end of the HLF (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=532591&page=6) thread, which ICly speaking provoked Aleos for some reason to attack and make the area part of his budding empire (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=542012). OOCly, it's related to events in another (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=532271) storyline (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=533772) entirely (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=545463) which has nothing to do with this one except being concurrent more-or-less.
You ceded Zaynah to us, and I might add that Aurum Domus brought 3,000 troops plus equipment of his own which added to my 9,000 plus gear (a number dictated by internal organization issues, 15 battalions of 600 men each left behind from what was initially a far larger force) in fulfillment of the terms of that cession. Aurum was attacked by Aleos for reasons ICly known only to Gholgoth, and that's the way the cookie crumbled since I paid the price for that bad luck as well. You can only do well for yourself by stepping up to this standard, and dealing with the firestorm you have occasioned.
Nota Bene: Posted by request of Aleos.
you just cant get to Zaynah by sea.
heres the deal.
If you cede Zaynah to me, I'll cede Ambai island to you, which is ten times bigger and has a population of one hundred million.
Ambai was ceded to me by Maraque a long time ago, its not just some island I made up to get me out of this.

OOC: So your running with your tail between your legs because your a sore loser? Typical and expected.
i know.
OOC:
#1 Regarding land access for Zaynah.
Confusing to say the least since
1.1.1 Past operations involving the province seem to have involved amphibious landings. It also doesn't help that the previous owners of the land believed that they had sea access, something you never denied until now.
1.1.2 The map shows what seems to be a small strip of land that provides sea access.
1.1.3 It makes no sense from a geopolitical point of view for someone (In this case Aurum Domus) to take under jurisdiction a region that has no connection to the sea.
In the end though this doesn't matter all that much since:
1.2.1 Aleos has planes.
1.2.2 Aleos has enough air power to pull off the invasion without a beach landing.
So sea access or not it doesn't matter in the end.
#2 Regarding the offer you made, no deal.
Zaynah is important for my storyline and further than that ICly it would make no sense. Not only were warned you warned by several Gholgoth nations, but you also attacked without receiving a diplomatic reply from my country in reply to your statement.
So for all intents and purposes this RP will go forward. You attacked me, now deal with it, so please reply to our IC actions.

OOC: During the course of this thread, you have changed your government position from "Zaynah should be ours" to "We don't recognize it and it doesn't exist". This makes no sense, because you invaded it. You even puppetwanked to cede it to yourself. You can't just pretend it doesn't exist, just like the US couldn't suddenly declare that Asia is completely nonexistent. And since IC, there is no thread, you can't ICly ignore a thread. I'm interpreting from that confused and contradictory post that you are pretending this never happened unless Gholgoth makes concessions to you.
There is no deal to reach, Zanski. We're not going to give you land or recognition or any kind of reward just because you think that if we don't, you can ignore this whole thing. The rules are, you have to RP the consequences of the attacks we've made against you. The answer isn't changing the map, the answer isn't pretending this thread never happened; you invaded, we counterattacked, and the rules say that you have to accept the losses caused by that counterattack. If you don't like it, tough shit. If you're worried about the material losses we just caused your nation, keep in mind that you have lots of other troops to back them up. Aleos wants you to RP ICly. I want you to RP ICly. EVERYONE wants you to RP ICly. So do it.

OOC: Let me try to fix this up slightly. Last year, several nations including me, that would eventually create UFAN, took over Zanski in a war to crush a genocide. We administered it quietly until some other ethnic group rose up, the Mrahed I think.. We negotiated with the different ethnic leaders and came up with a plan to help keep peace. I suggested making the homeland of the Zaynah tribe a protectorate since they're tribesman helped us win the war and were therefore hated by everyone else. So we held onto the protectorate for awhile but only loosely, the defense force was inadequate because we were fighting a war in Vetaka at the time. So we lost Zaynah to Aleos and thats all I know. Someone besides Zanski can correct me if I'm wrong. His nation is such a clusterfuck its hard to monitor all the political changes.
