SilentScope003 Asks For Non-Slave Nations To Trade With!

A new UN resolution would ban trading from factories that would use slaves or from factories that would use materials made from a factory that uses slaves...or from factories that use materials from a second factory that uses material from a third factory that uses slaves, and so on and so forth.

Currently, we estimate that 80% of our trade is with nations that fall into that cateogry. Such an embargo could destroy our economy, but, heh, this is the UN, this happens regularly. As we expect it to pass, it is time we stay in compliance with UN law.

Do you NOT USE SLAVES? If so, then you got yourself a new trading partner. Just tell us quickly so that we can start telling our mega-corporations to start trading with you! And hurry, before the resolution passes!

We admire the nation of SilentScope003 for their noble whale evacuation effort. We are also a slave-free empire, and would like a new trading partner.

Doesn't Marxist theory claim that factory workers in capitalist systems are nothing other than wage slaves? How do you answer that claim when you use mega-corporations?
Third Spanish States

All Third Spanish States market economy is based in Cooperativism, with rent, interest rates and wage slavery being non-existent except for a bunch of criminal capitalists, or social parasites, which the people struggle to take out. We would like to trade with you, if you have available for export niobium or coal, as we are short of both of these resources which are very important for the aerospace and steel cooperatives. I don't think it's necessary to mention that the armed people of the Confederacy won't tolerate even a slaver breathing.

Official Statement of the Free Republic of Kahanistan

The Government of Kahanistan does not and never has allowed slavery. We are also ravaged by war with slave-holding nations such as Kraven and Doomingsland, and are looking for ways to acquire capital with which to complete the rebuilding of our infrastructure in ways that will be politically acceptable to the two main power blocs, the Nationalists and Communists.

Currently, our only major product is industrial hemp, which we breed for its low THC content; to get high from smoking it would require over 100 "joints" in the space of an hour. However, mining operations in the central mountains aim to discover mineral deposits for domestic consumption or export.

Signed,
Dr. Khalid bin Abdullah al-Omari,
President of Kahanistan

My first guess would be they do not subscribe to the absurdity of Marxism.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The nation of Skibereen has a history founded in is very nationhood of being active against forced labor.

Thanks for all those non-slaves nationstates who wish to trade with us. We are certain the economy of SilentScope003 will be happy for your efforts.

ShogunKhan: We are not Marxist, we are socialist. There is a big difference.

Nations Asking for Natural Resources: Er, due to our enviromental protection laws, we don't really got any natural resources. We do have a vast Gambling Industry though, if you like that.

We do also export raw labor, in the form of Servant Corps (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=521964), servants who would happily serve in other nations, and who are not slaves. If you like that, you can post in that thread.

Kahanistan: Congrats for offering hemp. We will be buying from you shortly.

Velkya: The Nationstates United Nations. 1/3rd of all Nations belong to that organization, which passes resolutions that we have to remain in complaince with.

(OOC: Kirav, that whale-hunting episode has since been retconned, unforutently, by the thread starter. Which is a shame, because I really liked it. :) )
