East Lithuania

For as long as the country has existed, since the father of the current dictator lead his followers to succesful freedom and split Lithuania in half and created his own nation, the views on religion have been kept the same: Do what you want. Agnostisism has always been the governments response to religious happenings. It was viewed as the best, as no possible bias could be used when current events called for an opinion. All relgion was permitted, at one point even allowing sacrafices to some underground cults, ultimatly changed when the cult broke the boundries set by Dictator Scharfetter. The country had been in peace, and the thought of any rift in the harmony was far from anyone's mind.
However, that has been changing recently. With the current genocide going on in Mhoudia and the Confederate Crucade begining, the public outcry has been booming in the dictators ears for the past few days. At first, it was peaceful askings at press conferences and by religious leaders. The dictator respected all the questions, yet responded with the usual answers of zero opinion. While that usually had worked, this time the public did not accept that answer. The questions kept coming, and he kept giving the same answer.
The boiling pot broke when the riots started. Religious protests began DEMANDING an opinion on religion in general. What was worst was the inconsistancy of the purpose of the riots. They started with targeting the government and the next day would began giant fights in the streets between the religious fronts. Christians, Jews, Muslims... they all fought for power on public opinion. Dictator Scharfetter remained silant hoping that the local police would handle the situation. It seemed that they could not handle it. Dictator Scharfetter was left with no choice but to order the 152nd division of the national guard to control the protests. Ashamed of having to go to that extent, the dictator sent a message to world powers to help control the riots and to restore order.
