Richard Trelawnley, as he usually did sat down to watch the news and find out what events were happening in The Imperial Republic of Greston and the world. There was a few new casts about the many wars we were in then came something a bit odd. In a nation that had no relations to Greston had found a new mineral, which when tested with certain compounds was highly explosive, and would be good in warfare. This could be his brake. He had been making blue prints for all types of weapons but most of them didn't work very well so he decided he would go over to Turka-Sir, which is the nation that found the mineral, and trade and bribe people for the mineral. Then the reporter said that the nation was currently a hellhole for it was in the midst of a long and bloody war on their turf. The discovery was even caused by the war, so Richard then knew he would have to keep working on tank blueprints. But then he remembered the company of infantry he had the rights over. He owned 6,000 well-trained, battle hardened, infantry units. His lucky brake which had just been closed had then reopened. he would send his men and they would kill and torture and bribe and trade until they would bring home the mineral. He readied the men, armed them, and prepared them to leave. Then he noticed one very important detail. He hadn't any means of transportation for his troops. But then it struck him. Vinect Herel, the ex-pilot that lived in the little suburbs/apartments farther into the city.

DING DONG He pressed the doorbell again and then a little creak and a cracking noise introduced Vincent Herel as the door came open. "What is it?" said the man on the door wawy in a mild scratchy voice. "Vincent Herel?" the man answered, "That'd be me, what do you want?" Vincent then leaned against the doorway and awaited Richard's answer. "I want you time and effort, I have money if you want it. I need you to get 6,000 men over to Turka-Sir." "Are you mad there is a war going on over there." "That is what the men are going to be apart of, sir." a grin came upon Vincent's face as he said this next thing, "War, I love war. Now you have a small scale airforce and transportation." "Thank you."

A small convoy flew above Turka-Sir and dropped the men down. The convoy was piloted by Vincet Herel and his friends, Tommy Ukerbeck, Greg Rhine, and Andrew Rishab.

Radio operator Alhmi-al-Jamin was stationed at his post in front of a large radar screen. Major bombings had all but crippled Turka-Sir's radar outposts, save for a select few thanks to the efforts of scattered AA fire. A few of the surviving outposts had then been overrun by the following paratroopers, who quickly disabled their use by planting C4s and blowing the stations to hell.

In the very few surviving, and heavily defended, fortress of a radar operation centre, the radio operator noticed a few blips appear on screen. Odd, none of them matched any Lorotheon, or Scandivan planes. All aircraft, with the exception of their ally Dyelli, was to be reported immediately. However, these planes didn't match any models on the list of known enemy planes. Could it be civilian aircraft? No, they wouldn't fly so many at once so close to eachother. It had to be someone's own private military, someone new.

The radio operator clicked the button next to his station and immediately notified his supervisor before hailing the incoming aircrafts.

"Unidentified aircrafts, you are entering restricted airspace. Identify yourselves immediately. I repeat, you are entering restricted airspace. Identify yourselves and turn around immediately." He spoke in Arabic, of course.

Suddenly, more blips appeared on the glowing screen. Paratroopers. Without further hesitation, the alarm was sounded, and reserve soldiers were sent to the area immediately. The closest support they had was about a half hour's drive away. They needed to double time in order to catch the landing soldiers.

Vincent heard a message come in from the radio. His first thought was oh god they had been spotted but then he thought he could play it out and pretend to be an ally but he couldn't because he couldn't understand the message. He fowarded it to Tommy after saying, "Hey Tommy, some message came in, can't read it it is in Arabic of summing. You read that shit right?" there was a moment of silence then he replied, "He said to identify ourselves." then Vincent knew he could play it cool, but then they mobilized against them and he yelled this into the radio instead of a nice welcoming reply, "We are your death." He signalled the rest of the convoy to pull back and leave then as he was about to he let one more thing drop, a Sparrow missile, and it headed right towards the direction the transmission came.

"Sir!" exclaimed Alhmi-al-Jamin "We've got an inbound projectile heading... Straight towards us!"

The officer with the bars on his shoulders peered over the operator's shoulder at the green screen. "Alert the SAM sites. Give the order to fire. Assemble helicopter crews and send them out on recon. We should get a look at this new threat." He said all of this in a disturbingly calm manner, as if he were discussing last week's lottery.

The operator keyed the intercom in the hangar of the base "All helicopter crews, scramble! All pilots to your birds. All crews man your stations. This is an emergency scramble. To your stations NOW!"

Another man beside the operator was already sending the orders to the SAM missile sites, where they were locking onto the incoming radar-seeking missile. If everyone played their part, they would blow the missile out of the sky before it ever reached its destination. If not... Well, at least the helicopters would be in the air safely.

The 6,000 men had landed safely and they huddled together their leader held up a map to his face and read it, he ran his finger along the map then exclamed, "The minerals are right about there." He turned to his second in command and said, "It is about a days march from here. We have about an hour worth of safety then we have to survive in small scale battles. The battles for just proteting ourselves on our journey will be nothing comparedto the one which will take place hence we get to our spot to take the minerals." As he finished his sentence a bunch of helicopters started rising from platforms. They were a bit ways off and they didn't see them, but they saw the planes and were after them. Justin Kulikon, who was leading the men, ordered a few men to fire upon the helicopters. There was about 40 people who started shooting AK-47 rounds at the helicopter. He had only 100 RPG weapons among him so he had only one man on RPGs. He would fire one per helicopter. No more then that would be allowed. Justin had the larger part of the 6,000 move ahead and start their journey. The men shooting at the helicopters would be the Rear Gaurd Section. they would follow up from behind and stop enemies from pushing up to get the larger force. The Rear Gaurd Section was only made up of 47 men, who would have to try to take out the helicopters and any men that came out of the radar base.
