OFFICIAL DECLARATION BY THE UNITED KINGDOMS OF MACARONIA AND RAVIOLIA

Following the recent announcement by the Praetonian government that they will continue to harbour barbarians, that they will intercept innocent Macaronian vessels and arbitrarily execute their crews - and in doing so contravening the standards expected of civilised nations - the Government is unfortunately left with no choice but to declare that a state of war now exists between the United Kingdoms and The Crown Commonwealth of Praetonia.

Further to this declaration of war, a state of civil emergency is declared within the United Kingdoms. All men of military age are hereby called upon to attend their local drafting point and enlist in the UK Reserve Militia.

The Raviolian Air Force has announced its intention to launch air strikes upon Praetonian military installations with immediate effect. MAY GOD BLESS ALL MACARONIANS!

Their Majesties King Boris IV and King Alexander III do hereby proclaim that all nations believing in the right of animals to live peacefully and free from persecution and murder by barbarians should rally around the Macaronian and Raviolian forces now engaged in fierce battle with the Praetonians and their massed armies of Akimonadian lapdogs!

"As previously stated, all Macaronian accounts in the nation of Vetalia are hereby frozen. In addition, the Vetalian government has issued a decree revoking the status of the Macaronian Pound as a legitimate unit of account for transactions between our states. We encourage our friends in Akimonad and Prestonia to take similar steps to weaken the Macaronian economy and force them to cease their military activities in the region."

"This order will not be revoked until the Macaronians cease all hostilities and pursue a peace agreement."

Ministry of Trade

In the wake of Macaronian privateering, we have no choice but to announce a total blockade and embargo on their nation. All trade is hereby halted with their country, with full prosecution under Vetalian law for violators. The Vetalian Navy is hereby ordered to begin mobilizing for deployment to the Macaronian territories to enforce the embargo, and all ships currently in Vetalian ports are hereby impounded.

We are still open to negotiations, but will not falter in our commitment to our allies. The blockade stands until settlement is reached.

Official communique from the Empire of the Wolf

With effect as of the end of this communique, the following shall be put into place:

- All leave for all branches of the Imperial Forces and Security Services is cancelled.
- All reservists should be ready to report to their units within 48 hours
- Civil Defence volunteers are to check into their Area Commanders
- Any assets or persons belonging or known to be associated to the government or state of Macaronia and Raviolia are to be seized and detained at once
- All 1st Echelon units are to go on full alert
- A state of war will exist between the Empire of the Wolf and the state of Macaronia and Raviolia
- Imperial officers will begin drafting plans for military action against Macaronia and Raviolia

Allanean Hunting Resort, New Kentucky

The whitetail tried pitfully to dodge, to disengage from the man pursuing it, but it had no hope. There would be nothing but the chase, the steps of the Allanean hunter right behind it. He was fast and persistent, his heavy combat boots crushing leaves and small branches under foot with satisfying – to him – and terryfing – to the whitetail – crunches.

The deer burst out into a clearing – only to see two colorful cars and several humans there. It tried to dart back – and suddenly the Allanean was upon it, machete descending.

The injured deer let forth a terrible, almost-human moan of pain as it slid back onto it's hind legs – and the Allanean slashed at it again, going for it's spine, it's skull, it's throat, more, more, blood splattering over his shirt, his face, his black-framed glasses. And finally it stopped moving, dead.

Alexander Kazansky raised his arms skywards and let forth a single, animal-like, roar of triumph.

Only then did his aides approach him.

“Sir... would you like to comment upon the attack on our allies the Praetonians?”

“Is it the Raviolians?”

“How did you know?”

“Because the world can only hold a limited amount of suicidally-stupid nations. Now. Give me ten minutes to change into a suit and a tie and have a shower, and I'll respond.”

Ten minutes later you would never guess Alexander Kazansky had just slaughtered a deer with a machete. Instead, what you would see on TV was a clean-cut, polite Allanean in very, very clean glasses. And so he spoke.


My dear friends the Raviolians!

I understand your candor and your defense of so-called 'animal rights'. But you must understand that many societies, such as Allanea, do not recognize animal rights at all. We believe that only sapients have rights. In our country, whale and dolphin hunting is a multi-billion-dollar industry, and the the Praetonians are our friends.

Should you attack their civilian vessels, we can only draw the conclusion our civilian whalers are also endangered. We will hereby remind you, first of all, that our whalers are practically universally armed, and second, that a hundred Aviso-class light craft will hereby, on my orders as Fieldmarshal of the Republic and the leader of this nation, will be deployed to protect Praetonian shipping.

We further announce a $250,000 reward for every captain of a Macaronian-Raviolian vessel captured alive and delivered to us for a fair trial, and a $25,000 reward for every crewman.

Piracy of this form has been the doom of many regimes before, Macaronians. It has destroyed the German Empire by bringing the wrath of our ancestors the Americans. It has brought the wrath of our ancestors on the Barbary Pirates. I beg you – be reasonable. Do not let it be your downfall too.

Please. Stand down. Don't do it for me, or for the Praetonians. Do it for your own sake.

Public Announcement in Response to the Allaneans

There are no words to describe the complete and utter abhorrence with which the Macaronian people hold your stance on Animal Rights. The Macaronians wish to see a world whereby there is full equality between the species that roam our planet, a world where Cetaceans and Man may live in mutual harmony. A world where Deer and Man may roam freely through the forests to their hearts' content.

The Macaronians have long felt this way. We are willing to lay down are lives in sacrifice to see our dreams realised. Our deaths shall represent a mere fraction of those creatures murdered daily by the Praetonian barbarians and their allies. We hereby add the Allaneans to the List of Barbarians, along with Jeuna who, it would appear, is also on the side of these barbarians.

To the right and left of the massive bomber formation bearing down on Orca City were 24 EWACs Aircraft. These sophisticated machines were searching for invisible signals with invisible sensors.

As radio broadcasts went out too various Macaronia and Raviolia airfields, the Electronic Intelligence(ELINT) sensors onboard the EWACs detected them. If they were encrypted, the signals were saved in order for the Intelligence Commissarat to have a chance too break the encryption later. If they were not encrypted, they were simply sent too the ELINT Officer onboard.

A conclusion was quickly reached and a burst of LASER communication was shot across the entire bomber formation.

"Prepare for possible enemy fighter attack." It said.

On board the bombers, tail gunners stopped staring blankly out their canvasses and began too check and recheck the equipment on their RADAR-assisted 30mm autocannons. On board the EWACs, the men became more alert and began too actively search for any fighters.

The fighters approach was noted by the EWAC's RADARs and the proper alert was sent down the bomber force. No sooner had the enemy fighter squadron gotten a visual ID on the inbound bombers then did the EWACs act.

The massive RADAR domes on the two lead EWACs were powerfull, really powerfull. As a matter of fact, if focused, they could emit a invisible 'beam' of electromagnetic radiation similar too that given off in a nuclear detonation. This 'EM Beam' would fry and overload any electronics not properly shielded against such attacks.

The invisible beam swept over the Macaronian and Raviolian aircraft, blowing out any unshielded electronics on board.

The Spire, Magna Polis-

GRIFFITH-II wasn't in his office. He wasn't anywhere in the city, as a matter of fact, due to his visit to Greal. However, he wasn't cut off from the International News. He had sent direct orders to his folk at the Spire to freeze all Macaronian and Raviolian (Which are now to be referred to as Pastanian) accounts, arrest all Pastanian nationals, set the Air and Missile Defense Systems across the Federal Network to Maximum Readiness, and to send the Pastanian leader a dead whale from a highly-endangered species.

Endless corridors of information connect the various nations of NSEarth. An entity consisting of the sum total of human achievement, the vast corridors of network upon network race faster than the human race could begin to fathom. Yet there are those who seek a simpler time. Eschewing the new internet-oriented Jolt Ordinances of 20YY, one National Leader clung to the Jolt Ordinances of 20XX. This aging network of fax machines continued to service the greater world community, even as further advancements were made to its newer brethren. But, regardless of the number who still used this system, for reasons of money or nostalgia, this leader stood out like a sore thumb.

It has recently come to my attention that the nation of Macaronia and Raviolia has decided to declare war on a list of nations that does not require rehashing here. While every nation is well within its rights to declare war against another nation for any given reason, I cannot but shake my head at the given cause for offense.

Humanity is the epitome of this planet, and it is its sovereign right to ensure the wellbeing of itself and the world around it. From the first seed planted by the old ones in the distant past to the most advanced expressway that winds across a grand nation in NSEarth, humanity has utilized and husbanded the resources at hand to produce the greatest marvels in the known universe. Civilization has risen, capitalism has grown to unknown heights, and what once took millennia to even attempt can now be done in a matter of seconds. Yet, in order to achieve even the slightest of those, humanity has required resources.

The aforementioned resources are bountiful in nature, and they must be utilized and husbanded to yield the most efficient possible return in order to support the exponentially expanding societies present in NSEarth. Yet somehow, so trivial and minor a resourcing operation as Whaling is worthy of outright belligerence on the part of one of the less advanced civilizations on NSEarth. I can only assume that the actions of the governing body of this civilization represent the intellectual progression of this nation as a whole.

Such demonstration of inferior knowledge of the state of Humanity relative to the world around them saddens me deeply, because of what I must do. Such inferior thinking necessitates action on my part, and therefore, I am authorizing an intervention against the nation of Macaronia and Raviolia. As of the reception of this letter of intent, the aforementioned nation is now property of the Glorious Military Junta of No Endorse, and I claim sovereignty over all its dominions. The nation of Macaronia and Raviolia hereby forfeits all of itself in totality to No Endorse, to be disposed of as deemed necessary.

I am reluctant to be forced into such action, but clearly you are incapable of governing yourself. The vast military of the Junta is being scrambled as we speak, and a delegation is traveling via plane for your leaders to sign. I highly recommend compliance with my mandate and submission to the rule of No Endorse, for it shall result in an easy and relatively bloodless transfer of power. Should you decline, let it be known that the vast strategic weapons systems at my disposal have been set to maximum readiness.

The few remaining fighters, those whose pilots had managed by luck or skill to avoid the EWACS' assault now were within range of the bombers. Opening fire, they managed to knock out a few of the many hundreds of bombers, their carcasses crashing to the ground, before the combined counter-attack by the bombers shredded their planes into pieces.

In light of such reckless actions taken by anti-whaling nations, we must state that any attacks on Chevrokian whaling vessels operating in foreign waters, in international waters, or at home will be considered an act of war on the Republic, and much like the actions of other nations, any personnel involved in attacks on Chevrokian whaling vessels or any other merchant ships will be considered pirates and dealt with in such manner.

While we do not intend to take any direct action as of yet, we also wish to state that we are in full support of the actions and proposals of our ally, The Glorious Military Junta of No Endorse, and we hope that the annexation will proceed smoothly.

Praetonians trapped in the United Kingdoms of Macaronia and Raviolia are reported to be desperate to flee the country after it announced that it would "destroy" them if they remained. The acting Prime Minister, Secretary of State for War Sir Thomas Richmond, described Macaronia and Raviolia as an "environmentalist crusader state" and warned that if Praetonians were summarily executed, members of the Macaronia and Raviolian government "could face the death penalty" after the war.

The Foreign Office has confirmed that the Praetonian Embassy in the Macaronia and Raviolia capital has been overrun by Praetonian and allied refugees, and that the Ambassador fears Macaronia and Raviolian forces may attempt to storm the embassy. It has also warned Macaronia and Raviolia that it must treat foreign citizens "with due decency," and warned that members of the United Kingdoms' government would be tried for murder if Praetonians faced "arbitrary execution".

Outside of the capital, airports are reported to be flooded with Praetonian refugees but it remains to be seen whether or not Macaronia and Raviolia will allow their planes to leave. The government has described their conduct as "reckless and criminal" and has warned relatives of Praetonian ex-patriots in Macaronia and Raviolia to be prepared for the worst.

Action against national groups in Macaronia and Raviolia is not restricted to Praetonians, with a list of eight national groups has been drawn up, all of whom having governments opposed to the country's policy of piracy to oppose the whaling industry.

The Government has expressed regret that the matter has "ballooned quite beyond its proper proportions".

The enemy managed too down only seven bombers... out of a fleet of six hundred thirty-two. The crews, in a typically Red Tidean fashion, went down with their planes, none jumped out... in fact they aimed themselves at the largest building they could find and plowed in.

The forward 40% of the bombers carried 25,000 pounds worth of five hundred pound high explosive bombs, this they unloaded upon the residential and commercial districts of Orca City. The remaining 60% of bombers behind them carried 25,000 pounds of 200 pound napalm bombs. The purpose of the high explosive bombers was too create kindling and blow stuff up. The purpose of the rest of the bombers was too set fire too the stuff that hasnt(and had) been blown up. The bombers unloaded their full loads upon the houses and businesses of Orca City.

The resulting firestorm would probably be unstoppable and extremely lethal too anything caught in the vicinity. The bombers turned for home.

Macaron City International Airport

With the grounding of all civilian aircraft and the instigation of Martial Law within the United Kingdoms, the Airports were now packed with those citizens who had fled their homes in desperate attempts to escape the conflict that had now spread to the Macaronian homeland.

Armed police roamed the airport in teams, as they systematically began to empty the buildings, sending the Macaronian and Raviolian citizens home to contemplate their cowardice and dividing up the foreign citizens into groups, to ensure the national security of the United Kingdoms. Those citizens of nations not involved in the conflict were to be transported to safe regions of the nation ready for repatriation, whilst the Barbarians were to be transported to secure units across the United Kingdoms to prevent them from engaging in espionage.

I have recently received your message, and I hope I find you in excellent Christmas cheer. You and your irrelevant and disinterested nation have little to worry about in the coming conflict, we have everything under control. The situation will be handled with due respect to all who actually have interest in this conflict. Magna Polis Air Force Base-

After the government announced a reward for anyone who could bring an endangered whale to the AF Base, the whaling boat Moby Has No Dick pulled into the Air Force Artificial Islet's "Harbor." Several Marines and Air Force personnel arrived to take the whale from the crew's hands, and to pay the reward of FC$500,000. After the whale was brought onto the islet, the base's personnel moved the whale to a waiting UAV, where they put it in the hatch designed for bombs. After the hatch closed and the UAV was ready, it took off. It headed towards the Pastanian Capital.

Offical Declation of War

It is Hear by Delcared by The People's Congress of The People's Republic of The Ryou Black Islands that a State of War has been declared between The Peoples Republic of The Ryou Black Islands and The United Kingdom of Macaronia and Raviolia. It Condems The Inprisonment of people from other Nations and Threating nations.

Long Live The People's Republic!

People's Military Department, Shai, Ryou Black Islands.

The Military had started the plans for the war against Macaronia and Raviolia. The Main Plan and reason for war was to free The Imprisoned People and to destroy the enemy forces. The Ryous decided that only a Full Scale Invasion would be what will free the Prisoners.

another Plan that would win the war was to destroy The Macaro-Raviolian Navy and The Pirates that worked for them. This would end the enemy's ability to attack any Invasion Force.

All Resorces were soon Moblized in a Total War that would end this threat. The Commander of The Ryou Land forces was to be Colonel Naya Mewsyu, a Neko who had joined The People's Army and became a Colonel.

The Naval Forces were under the Command of Admiral Gao Tokojan, who was a good Commander in his own right.

Also to be in The war were to be Special Operations Forces, The Black Dragon Ninja Clan was one Part of The Special Forces, thsi was under the Command of NinjaOps Commander Sango Takishito.

Sky Marshal Minisan Khan was in Command of The Air Force for the war.

This was the start of the Ryous entry into The War.

The Nation of No Endorse is the only nation that my intelligence is aware of that plans to invade and annex the nation of Macaronia and Raviolia. The other nations have not openly expressed intent to completely removing the sovereign government of Macaronia and Raviolia from power and as such. The Eternal Imperial Hegemony of Deatharon can only condemn their actions. If however they plan to completely subjugate the United Kingdoms, The Eternal Imperial Hegemony will intervine to ensure that their ally is safe from being completely annihilated.

The Nation of No Endorse has clearly shown his goal is to completely force submission of the United Kingdoms of Macaronia and Raviolia and the Imperial Hegemony will not allow this and furthermore. The United Kingdoms has been running operations against whalers and pirates that threaten the seas and hunt defenseless sea animals. The Eternal Imperial Hegemony thus supports their crusade against the barbaric practices of whaling and will even send in equipment supplies and financial aid to help eliminate that global problem. …
