OOC: This is my first attempt at an Rp, So let me know how I did

The heathens and Infidels shall be forced to see the light of the True God, or be cleansed by the fiery wraith of the one True God! A Great Crusade has even now has begun as the True God’s followers march to war against the heathens and infidels in this land. Helgothia shall be unified under his reign for all eternity!

President George Hindermen was running with his Presidential bodyguard unit as the sounds of combat were heading towards his escape route. The Capital building had already fallen to the fanatics that had tried to quickly storm it with an almost suicidal fervor. The Presidential bodyguard unit tried to hold them back but the followers of the One True God had already started shooting and the gunshots could be heard all across the city.

The Church of the One True God had just recently declared a religious holy war against the heretical government of the Republic for refusing to acknowledge the Church as the one true religion of Helgothia. The government had not only refused to acknowledge the church as the only official religion of Helgothia they had also declared the Church an occult that was to milliant and dangerous for the good of the Helgothian people.


This giant insult had forced the Holy Archon Isaac Garazoni III to force his hand to prove the power of the One True God and within several weeks time the followers of the church began to fight back with suicide bombings on key positions through out the country and with stolen guns taken from the black market. These weapons were bought and paid for using the Church’s large coffers to form a war chest to pay for the expense of building the ragtag army that now was devastating the country.


The President George Hinderman had tried to solve the problem peacefully but the Church had gone underground refusing to even meet with the President or his representatives. The government would be cleaned by fire and sword as the One True God had decreed….


The Republican Army had been unable to properly mobilize against this massive religious uprising as hundreds of their own numbers turned on their comrades and caused great chaos within the military. The suicide bombings also did not help matters as young children would run up to loyalist forces with bombs strapped to their chests and would detonate them upon reaching a foot or two from their position…


The President had been thinking back on the past couple of weeks as his entourage tried to get to the helicopter that would fly him to the nearest Air Command Base that had not fallen to the fanatic’s forces. The President breathed a sigh of relief as his heleicopter was still waiting for him despite the fact it was being shot at from the distance by some “Crusaders” armed with AK-47 assaults rifles.

The President’s guards began to surround the helicopter and began firing back with the M-16 rifles trying to provide cover fire for their elected official. The President entered the passenger side of the door and the pilot smiled and said, “The Holy One sends his regards!” with that the pilot pulled out his Walther P22 handgun and emptied the clip into the president killing him at point blank range.

The guards turned around to see the sight of their charge being assassinated and they quickly ran shooting trying to take out the assassin. The pilot smiled and started to lift off into the air with the body of the dead president slumped into the passenger seat as bullet rounds struck at the windows and sides of the helicopter.




The Next Day………




The Holy Archon Isaac Garazoni III sat upon his personal throne inside the hidden bunker that now hid him and his closest advisors. The news of the President’s death had been broadcast throughout the media as the Church sent a video tape of his corpse to every major news outlet with the message that the Republic was no more. The time for Religious unity was now! The Holy Archon had decreed from this day forward the Nation of Helgothia was going to live a pure existence as a Theocracy under the reign of the One True God! Glory to the Followers of the One True God for their time has come!

The real question that was on everyone’s mind was how the international community would react to this sudden change from democracy to a sudden bloody religious dictatorship?

Amazingly their past history seems to be repeating itself in your nation, the difference being that the Grecians were a Holy empire taken over by an extremist cult while yours is a democracy.And from what I read the religion looks a lot like the Grecian one. Want to join the Second Grecian war RP thats coming up? :)

The Grecians had many secret hang outs and hide outs where they'd conspire and trade with other dark cultists who had religions similar or the same as theirs. They too had a greatly similar religion. They spouted off nonstop about how they served God's light when in secret they practiced occultry, and their regime reflected their militance.

The President, John Batther, was just touching ground in the zeppilin which had brought him over to the nation of Spitzenberg when he heard of the news that a Holy War was being enacted in the newly found nation of Helgothia. Well the holy war wasn't really still going on, in a day it had started and in a day it had ended for the last president of Helgothia had been shot dead and now the leader of the One True God, Holy Archon Isaac Garazoni III, had been made leader. Dictatorhsips weren't tolerated by the Grestonian Republic. Many wars had been started by either John Batther or Michael Check over a dispute or uprising for a dictatorship. Because it was not tolerated troops had been dispatched to fight in Helgothia and cease Holy Archon Isaac Garazoni III's power of Helgothia.

Herkin Nava Military Base

Lines and lines of infantry units from the Feathered Eagle Brigade stood in rest position. Behind the infantry was a few lines of Jaguar tanks, then a company of TM-3s. After the TM-3s came six lines of Flak Walkers, then pulling up the rear was more lines of infantry. The soldiers were made up of men from the Serstabele colony, the Pareth colony, and of course Greston itself. Lt. Johnson Cerzin stepped infront of his brigade and turned to face them. He saluted them and while his hand touched his cap he screamed, a mari usque ad mare. The brigade answered him with the same saying and a salute, then Lt. Cerzin told the troops hide in and they did. He told them their mission, and encouraged them. He brought their hopes and pride up so that they could fight better, and that is what they would do. The troops gave a cheer and Lt. Cerzin turned his back to them and marched upon the aircraft which would drop him into the unstable nation of Helgothia.

News of the religious uprising and the subsequent brutal murder of the democratically elected president travelled with lightning-speed through wire and air, reaching ministries and intelligence services throughout the world. One of the nations where the news of the Helgothian coup d'etat broke the usual tedium of daytime soap operas, was the young nation of Northern Rangeria. Having only recently broken off from the dying empire of United Rangerian Kingdoms, the young principality was horrified to learn of such terrifying events, and some even feared the event would spark riots in areas where many Helgothian immigrants lived - or fuel the rage of Southern Rangeria, their old enemy.

The government, however, was quick to act, and the Northern Rangerian ambassador to Helgothia, Thimo Heyna, was quickly called home along with his staff. There were yet any official statements to be made, but the retreating Northern Rangerian helicopters from the capital airport send a quick message: the young principality would not condone this act of brutality.

Oh, and good job on getting rid of yet another capitalist nation. Makes our lives easier.

We find this takeover ridiculas and a sin to the people of the nation, you have murdered your way to the top. You dont seem to have any respect for any other belifes besides yours.

South Lizasauria recieved no reply, early in the morning the invasion began, troops on stand by in the vicinity began their journey towards Helgothia's borders to deliver intellectual freedom.

You've got an interesting concept for an RP, but you should be aware of one thing: The Republic is a region that acts as a single FT nation.

If you keep using our name without our permission, we're going to have to fly in a few of our 25,000 Capital Ships and politely negotiate a settlement.

Official Dispatch: Ministries of War and Military Affairs and Foreign Affairs of the Holy Empire of Imota

The administration of Her Imperial Majesty Lania I is deeply concerned about the recent uprising of the Church of the One True God in Helgothia. While we believe President Hinderman 's pre-uprising stance against the Church was too harsh, we cannot condone the actions of the Church and will refuse to deal with Garazoni's government.

This is our first, and last, warning to the Garazoni government: cease all hostilities, disarm your militia and allow the democratically elected government to re-establish itself immediately. Otherwise, we will be compelled to intervene on behalf of the rightful government of Helgothia.
