Hello and welcome to our first ViZionarian Elections Debate for this election year! We are pleased you are here to listen and ask questions. This years bunch is quite the group, some being pretty similar, while others are quite a contrast! We look forward to seeing this debate!

The room was dark, the walls painted black. There was room for one thousand people in the main seating, and it is expected to be filled. Up ahead of the main seating area is where national officials from across the globe, as well as press from across the globe, will be seated and are welcome to ask questions. Please address the question to all the candidates, as they will all answer.

Up in front is a well-lit oak stage with neon and LED lighting around the base, above, and behind the stage for an up-beat feel and look.

All nine candidates are seated as the room began to fill.

OOC: Please feel free to send gov't officials and news staff from your nation, and they are welcome to ask questions. Please space out your questions, though, to allow others to ask. This is more for everyone to see where these nine guys stand, and after it finishes up, I will host a new poll for people to vote and post their official support. Note, neither of these will be the official outcome.

Also, until I make a post about the debates opening, please just post your arrival. Depending on how many people arrive tonight will determine rather it begins tonight or tomorrow. :)

Arriving by jet, the state-run media group STV (Shansekian TeleVision) arrived at the entrance of the room. Showing their press passes, they entered the room, which was still filling. The cameramen started setting up their cameras, the other guys set up the signal, and the lone reporter, Carlos Esporza, sipped a cold, refreshing coke. Time to see what imported_ViZion had in store.

The reporter from the Televiso Reala di Norden e Marchòbrutellia (TRNM, Royal Brutland and Norden Television), Rica Dageschietti, sat in one of the front rows, accompanied by her cameraman Gino Gernalli and Deputy Royal Nord-Brutlandese Ambassador, Lamberto Bellagio. They conversed in Nord-Brutlandese as they were waiting for the conference to start.

"Hoci es nostra una brelte ellena, me s'buona?" Bellagio told Dageschietti.
("This is your first foreign posting, am I right?")

"Si, e d'ollo passe, hoci s'la una brelte ellena per TRNM," she replied.
("Yes, and not only that, this is the first foreign reporting for TRNM.")

"Realtal? Que qui ecce la "novo ellena" con me ojece on TV?"
("Really? Then what are the "foreign news" that I see on TV?")

"Passa doppiecce," she said, and then asked, "Qua tu do tottece con hoci elezie s'significata bastanzal con nòi breltece il?"
("Those were dubbed... Why do you think that this election is significant enough that we cover it?")

"Me dell'ici ripose ufficial per con, mi frasco," the deputy ambassador said, laughing. "Ha notare, me tottece personal con co paiso seche aumentecche relanzi bonenessa son nazioni oltra. Noi ojecho Vizioneque ledaretto futura hoci."
("I have no official response for that, my dear... off record, I personally think that our nation would like to have better relations with other countries. We would be seeing ViZion's future leader here.")

George Q. Adams was not a happy camper today. His wife left him for his brother, John Q. Adams, his children left him for his wife, and he was assigned a job he didn't want. "The ViZionarian Election Debate? Damnit, Bill. Do I have to?"

Jaredcohenia News Network Incorporated will be sending George Q. Adams to question the delegates to the ViZionarian leaderships.
