This one replaces the hostage thing, right?

Do you play with PMT nations? I'd kind of like to drop in some kind of reaction force to check things over (perhaps your nation has oil, or some other natural resource of use). I wouldn't want to use anything over a battalion in size or so, at least initially-- if for no other reason than I don't like to deploy dozens of divisions at the drop of a hat.

Shansekia: correct
Axis Nova: Turka-Sir does have oil, although I'm sure that you'll have to contend with a lot of other countries for the contracts if my nation should fall. Its not looking good for Turka-Sir at the moment, but I can still turn this into a long and costly war for the both of them.

How PMT?
I mean, I'm using Vietnam era vehicles, and Turka-Sir has low quality soviet-bloc stuff like BMP-1s and T-55s. I'd imagine that heavy PMT tanks, VTOLs, long range precision cruise missiles, etc would make it pretty unbalanced.
I'm fine with making the whole thing PMT, though, but that would require a bit of work from everyone, and I don't know how many people only play MT.

This is MT, but Turka-Sir has the low-grade weapons that would go with PMT

Got it. Assuming you give the OK, here's what I'd be deploying into the theatre (and also my battalion OOB):
Mechanized Battalion
-Headquarters
1st Company
-Company HQ, riding CMGV 401s
-Rifle platoon, CMGV 201s, three CMGV 203s, two CMGV 301s
-Rifle platoon, CMGV 201s, three CMGV 203s, two CMGV 301s
-Rifle platoon, CMGV 201s, three CMGV 203s, two CMGV 301s
-Heavy platoon-- equipped with Minuteman or Metalman units, four CMGV 202s, four CMGV 203s, three CMGV 301s
2nd Company
(as above)
3rd Company
(as above)
4th Company
-Company HQ, riding CMGV 401s
-one platoon of CMGV 203s
-one platoon of CMGV 202s
-one platoon of CMGV 101s
-one platoon of Minuteman/Metalman units
-one platoon of CMGV 301s
5th company
-Company HQ, riding CMGV 401s
-5 platoons of Minuteman/Metalman units, integrated CMGV 201s for transport
Not included here are various supply things and so forth; that stuff is not really statted as it consists of various trucks and stuff. The stuff will be deployed using a bunch of dropships to drop straight in on a useful defensible-looking location, preferably near a body of open water. ROE for me are fairly simple: investigate the country, look over what's going on, try to keep civilians reasonably intact, give anyone that messes with my troops a bloody nose. I may also attach an extra platoon of heavy AA and heavy artillery to the HQ company (I'll post specifications should it become neccesary).
I do not have the Hound FMB statted, unfortunately; it's basically a light monocycle for recon, it uses a gyroscope to stay upright and is armed with a machinegun and some smoke grenades.
CMGV specifications (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=9314091&postcount=25)
Minuteman powered armor specifications (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=10655957&postcount=33[/url)
Standard infantry rifle/squad LMG/sniper rifle/etc/blah (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=12624931&postcount=51)
Dropship specifications, in case you send some MiGs after them or whatever. (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13124126&postcount=55)
Something which you may note: my forces are based largely around maneuver warfare, and thus why you have all these IFV thingies instead of big tanks or whatnot.
Feel free to hit me on AIM/MSN if you have any questions or whatever.

Who said I'll be occupying the place? For now, this is a recon in force-- my government has not decided whether to commit more to this place or not yet.
Note that gratituous attacks against civilians will, in general, not endear my forces towards you. =p

You get more cooperation by being nice to people than you do by being brutal. =p
By the way, I would like to request that people not eat the guy alive. Newbies should be encouraged, not crushed. ;p

Shansekia, I would like to request that you don't post what is and isn't abandoned. I already posted what the beach defenses are like, and I don't appreciate how you simply had your forces stroll across the beach because it was "abandoned".
