Im not sure about most of NSers, but im a huge football fan. I've been thinking for awhile about how to make a good International Football League(IFL). I can do the stuff like players, schedules, etc...
The only thing Im not sure about is how to decide who wins and who loses. Obviously we cant RP every play, so we cant do that. So, anybody with ideas please feel free to post. I would really like to get a league started.

I will join and i guess instead of rping everyplay just rp like a big play or something

I was thinking about that, but the opposing person could say that they had a defender that was there so he couldn't have caught the ball or ran it. Thats my only fear.

Well you might could do it like on madden where they assign weapons to a player like a runningback has a strong stiffarm but his counter is a runcrusher linebacker or something but i dont know how that would work tho. Cause i mean everybody going to want their runningback breaking every tackle or juke a player or everybody going to a cornerback make every interception

Awarness-75
Break Tackle-65

Aye i can help u with that cause i have madden and they have different player types and i can write them down for you like a scambling quarterback, balanced, Pro or Passing. but with winning idk

They have both an RP component and a statistical component, so on the one hand folk can't wank their way through a game and on the other hand they still can affect the outcomes through RP. Their World Cup 39 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=544210) thread has a few nice links, and can always drop them a telegram or somesuch.

I mean i really dont want to choose for them but why dont we give them a situation where they get to choose two different things and one gives a positive outcome and another gives a negative. but i dont know about that one nethier

Actually that does sound good. That way its a 50-50 chance for both teams. Like we can say either hand off to X or pass to X. If they choose pass it could be incomplete, intercepted, or QB gets sacked. Or if he hands it off its a 7 yard carry. But we wouldn't tell them the outcome first, of course.

Yeah cause we could do that and i should have those player stats to u later on tonight or tommorow

Ok, i was also thinking about something else. We could have people make up there teams with their mpeople. Then they could do an overall rating like 90, 85 or something for each player on offense or defense. BUT they only had a certain amount of points for Overall Offense and Defense. Then we could average it, and use that to compare in games, and decide who wins.

Yeah that was what i was thinking like a team with 12 90+ players would have a better chance to beat a team with 5 90+ only

All right. tommorow ill make a sign up thread. It will be 16 teams, 4 divisions, 2confrences for now. The season will probably 12 games this season. Then next season we can make it larger.

You can take out your full back or a tackle, because their are only 11 players on each side of the field. Some teams prefer 2 TEs and only 1 tackle, or no FB.
