Sith Academy established on Werkan (FT)

Darth Kronn, a tall man with shoulder-length brown hair, was undergoing practice when a messenger approached the door. He stooped before the man got to it, and swung it open with a mere flick of his wrist. The messenger, a man in his teens, looked very frightened as he stepped slowly into the round, domed, room. He shuffled towards Kronn, and the Sith Master got quickly frustrated, and force pulled the messenger in front of him, almost giving the young man a heart attack.

"What do you want boy?" He said in a gravelly voice.

The messenger shook while he was on his knees.

"Th....th.....King has....se...sent me my lord. The Academy has...been built." He replied in a whimpering tone.

A smile crossed the Sith Master's lips.

"Good."

He then released the messenger, who high-tailed it out of the room, and strode out after him. He focused, looking around for where the Academy was, and as soon as he sensed his student, Darth Coven, who appeared to be meditating in a large structure which he assumed was the Academy, and made his way there. He immediately sent out a strong telepathic message to all Force-Sensitives who wanted to join the dark side.

"The time has come my brethren, begin your training, and we shall become victorious."

IC:
The following message has been sent via unmanned messenger drone to Werkan:

The Observer Council of the Cerberus Alliance would like to commend the nation of Werkan on it's efforts towards the education of the supernaturally gifted.

However, before any one of our own gifted individuals set foot on your world to enhance the knowledge and experience we have already given them, we would like to send a representative to preview this Academy. Just a simple tour and peaceful meetings with one or two masters will be enough, as we want to know what we are getting into if our citizens were to study under you.

For your response, we would appreciate it if you were to send it with this messenger drone, which is set to return to a rendezvous point with one of our WarShips. The defenses around our home system do, unfortunately, have a bad habit of ruining any attempt at direct communication.

Grand Observer of the Cerberus Alliance

Darth Kronn arrived in front of the Academy, when a drone came down from the sky. Kronn put his hand on his lightsaber, before realising it was a peaceful drone carrying a message. It was from The Cerberus Alliance.

After listening to it, he dictated his reply:

"Grand Observer Irin Doran,

We thankyou for your congratulations, and will accept the respresentative whenever he arrives. We will put out a word of warning, at the moment there are duels being scheduled for our native students, so we ask that he is not easily horrified, as these duels will follow the Sith rulings.

Darth Kronn,
Sith Master of Werkan."

The drone nodded and headed off back towards where he came from, and Kronn simply smiled again.

"Excellent." He smirked

He then strode up the ramp towards the Academy, and opened the doors with a flick of the wrist, as he had when the messenger arrived in his estate, before making his way down the halls.

He continually searched for his student, Darth Coven, and found him on the furthest left of the Academy, in a huge meditation room. When Kronn entered, every single item in the room was whirling around Coven. Kronn spoke to Coven through their minds, telling him the news, and a smile similar to that of his master's crossed Coven's face.

Observer Icarus couldn't seem to be capable of calming himself. It was likely the first time in years that he could even think that way, not since his training from the council's own academy. Perhaps it was the thought of finally being able to meet individuals like himself that hadn't lived in the Protectorate. That hadn't all had the same growing experience going through the AotC Academy, and then spending the rest of their lives as part of the council's military force.

"Arrival at Werkan in THIRTY minutes."

The computer's voice interrupted his thoughts. His superiors had known this would happen at some point. At least they toned down the irritation that the voice would cause so that Icarus wouldn't be quite so compelled to suddenly rip the machine to shreds and, incidentally, doom himself by disabling the shuttle's flight system, navigation system, and pretty much anything else that had to be computer controlled.

Resisting the sudden urge to tear appart the infernal piece of electronics, Icarus looked out into space. His own senses weren't quite acute enough to sense other gifted, what the Sith seemed to call "force sensitives", but he could still tell that he was speeding towards some concentration of power.

--------------

30 minutes later, the shuttle could be seen descending to the planet surface, making it's way to a spaceport within an appropriate distance of the Sith Academy.
Werkan

Darth Kronn was informed of a spaceship descending onto the planet, and quickly flung his cloak on before he took a speeder bike to the airport. He had arranged for transport from the spaceport to the Academy, and wanted to escort the observer their personally.

When he reached the spaceport, he clambered off his speeder bike and made his way to the hangar where the new ship had been seen, his heavy boots thudding on the floor as he walked. The doors opened for him, and Kronn stepped into the hangar, his cloak following behind him. He sensed a dull feeling of excitement and anxiety from his guest, something that surprised him...
The Cerberus Alliance
15-12-2007, 23:06
Icarus exited the shuttle, and made a glance around the hangar as he secured the black, gold-trimmed cloak that signified his being part of the Observer Council. Immediately, he noticed the individual who had just arrived at the hangar... an individual that seemed to radiate what could be considered a dark aura. Definitely to be expected if the information about the sith that the Protectorate had received was to be trusted.

"Ah, you must be the 'Darth Kronn' that I have been sent to meet with. 'Tis nice to meet you. I am Observer Ra Icarus of the Cerberus Alliance."

Ra bowed, trying to be as respectful as possible to who he assumed to be his host.
Werkan
16-12-2007, 01:18
Darth Kronn bowed to his guest, although he didn't care much for bowing due to his teachings, but he still did it when required. He noticed the gold-rimmed cloak, and smiled, as this was obviously a noble person. Kronn pulled back the hood of his cloak to reveal his brown, shoulder-length hair, and his relatively youthful face, as Ftangian force sensitives have longer natural lives than others.

"Greetings Observer Ra Icarus, it is my pleasure to have you here. I have arranged for transport to the Academy, food and drink is in the transport should you need it. I hope your journey wasn't too troublesome, we've had a little trouble with pirates lately."

His trademark smirk crossed his face again, he had killed many of the pirates, and found it amusing how they continued harrassing their ships. Kronn stroked his beard while awaiting his reply...
The Cerberus Alliance
16-12-2007, 10:20
"I didn't see much of a problem at all. Too bad, too. I could have used the excitement. The trip was ridiculously boring."

Overall, he thought, the welcome doesn't do much for my boredom either. But since this is a rather informal visit I'll let it pass.

"So, we should probably go and see this academy of yours. Where is this transport?"

As he began to take a few steps forward, then remembered to say one last thing:

"Oh yeah, and while I'm here, please refrain from messing with my ship or trying to read my thoughts. I'm especially serious about the whole mind-reading thing."
Werkan
17-12-2007, 23:05
OOC: Sorry about replying late, my computer went boom and I had to have it repaired, so I had no access to the net.

IC: Darth Kronn laughed at the last statement.

"Understood, nobody likes it. You have my word, your ship will be under guard anyway, so there's no chance for people to tamper with it."

He then noticed the same messenger from earlier in the day come in through the hangar door, telling him the transport was ready to leave. Kronn nodded his head, and the messenger flinched, waiting some sort of punishment for intrusion, but found none, and ran back through the door. Kronn then turned back to his guest.

"The transport is right through these doors and to the left. It is a fast moving vehicle, so be prepared." Kronn then strode towards the door and waited for Icarus to follow...
The Cerberus Alliance
18-12-2007, 00:59
As Icarus did.

"Good. The faster the vehicle the better."

He was not expecting much from this trip. The intelligence he had been given about the Sith did not make them seem like the type that would give potential allies, or students, any problems.

((OOC: We can skip the transit segment and go right to arrival at the academy. Since it's your place, I think you should handle the arrival, and any descriptions of the academy that you want. ))

OOC: That's fine with me, sorry about my disappearance again, my computer completely packed up once again, and so I had no access to any internet until yesterday when I got it back, hopefully it will stay alive for a little while this time haha.

Kronn was used to the trip between the two places, so it was over with very quickly. As soon as the transport ground to a halt, the one bit Kronn wasn't used to, as he jolted forward, he pushed the door up and stepped out of the vehicle. He then looked up and looked over the Academy. There were guards protecting the doors, and in towers surrounding the building, but this didn't make it any less beautiful to him.

Built on the site of Ancient Werkanion ruins, of a temple to the deity Khranthazar, who once ruled during the First Kingdom era, many many milennia ago, the Academy was hundreds of feet tall, made of dark metal. Several spires sprouted randomnly at several points on the structure, with the tallest only just reaching over the treeline, as Werkanion trees are similar to Kashyyyk trees.

The doors were a similar colour to the rest of the structure, and were in the shape of the Ying and Yang of old. Kronn looked back at his guest before turning back to the structure.

"Quite a piece of work wouldn't you say?"

Kronn wanted to get inside the Academy and witness the Whirlwind Tournament going on within. This tournament was designed to figure out new recruits for the Academy, pitting each force sensitive who applied against another, to see who had the killer instincts. The winners got into the Academy, the losers lost their lives.

To Darth Kronn, Sith Lord.

I represent the Star Inheritors, descended from the destroyed Empire known as the Star Eaters. The Holy Emperor is interested in this.. force. He is a very powerful psychic being, and wonders what the force is. He hopes he can be told about it, is it a psychic power? If you are able to make an apointment, he would greatly appreciate it. Unfortunately he will be unable to meet you personaly, the "Kaelis Astartes Program" has taken more time than he had hoped. But I would be delighted to meet, if not you, one of your enlightened nobles to explain to me what your academy is trying to do.

Thank you.

Icarus looked up at the academy. It was certainly imposing, yet not so large as to draw too much attention, as the trees could still provide some visual cover. Certainly matching with the Sith's syles, if the information networks back in the home system were to be believed. He could sense that the building was fairly sturdy... after all, he could sense things about physical properties, just not supernatural properties. There was also apparently a large amount of movement within that he could detect. Fighting or training were all that Icarus could think that was. Certainly this was an academy for an order with such an aggressive reputation that the Sith had.

"It seems quite appropriate for your order, Kronn. It seems that there is work going on within. May we continue? I do wish to get the tour and all of that over with, mostly because I wish to see this tournament that you told my government about. It sounds like something interesting."

Icarus was wearing a mask, featureless and made of a one-way transparent metal with numerous built-in pieces of technology. Had he not been wearing it, Kronn might have been able to see that he was grinning right now.

"Of course, I'm looking forward to seeing it myself."

Darth Kronn smiled at the reply from Icarus, and made his way up the steps. When he reached the door, with guest in tow, he flicked the doors open with the force and entered, closing it behind his guest. Kronn then took a moment to gaze at the corridors.

Multiple different paths lead away from the door, each incredibly big, with several busts of previous Sith to come from Werkan lining the walls. Above each was a plaque commerating them and what they did, and above the plaque were pictures of them at their best moments. One saw the oldest known Werkanion Sith, Darth Kirolax, battling against the rebels who tried to depose his father from power, slaughtering five with a single swipe of his blade.

He strode down the central corridor, and was met with a messenger, and quickly sent him away after they had a talk. He then turned and waited for his guest to catch up.

----------------------------------------------------------

The messenger, running back from his meeting with Kronn, quickly wrote the reply to the Star Eater message:

To Sank'eth,
Spokesman of the Holy Emperor Kaelis Ra,

We thankyou for the message, and are honoured to have been contacted by such a race as yours. Sadly, I am unable to meet you personally, as I have a guest and need to mediate over the finals of the Whirlwind Tournament. However, I will send my brother, Darth Kurax, to meet with you. If you could supply us with the co-ordinates, I will send him right away.

I look forward to hearing from you.

The Emperor thanks you and your brother for allowing me to meet with him. If your brother wishes to meet me in my battle fleet or on a planet, I will send co-ordinates for the fleet and a planet I deem appropriate to meet on. Your brother can of course choose wherever he wishes to meet me if he finds the planet I have chosen inappropriate. I thank you again for using your time to reply to us.

Icarus looked over the displays in the hallway. This was certainly one thing that the intelligence information lacked: history. While he had been told of the cultural tendencies of the Sith, the history of the Sith on Werkan, and thus some differences in their culture from that of most 'normal' Sith, was left out of the intelligence documents. Almost as if they had just handed him a book describing a racial stereotype and was told to study it as if it's descriptions were the truth.

But more thorough research would have to wait until another time, Icarus thought, clearing the matter from his mind before continuing on following Kronn.

To Sank'eth,
Spokesman of the Holy Emperor Kaelis Ra,

My brother has already departed for the co-ordinates given to him, he will be there as soon as he can, as he encountered a little trouble with space pirates upon leaving the planet.

----------------------------------------------------------

"As you may have seen, these are our Corridor's of Time, weird name I know, but they display the history of this planet's own order of Sith. Should you require further research, there is a library down to the left where you can access historical documents."

Kronn then turned and headed down to the right of where Icarus was facing, and strode down towards three doors.

"The first on the left, leads to the Force Training room, where all of the Sith at this Academy, young and old, train in the force with the object placed there, which are unbreakable for constant use."

A small crash was heard from the room.

"Well.....it depends on who uses the room. My apprentice is in there at the moment."

He then signalled to the door directly in front of him

"This is the Assembly Chamber, which leads to all of the different classrooms, where Sith History, Lightsaber Training and Meditation are taught. In the Assembly Chamber itself, all of the students will gather at the end of each week to discuss the goings on in the world, and any people who are sent on missions are given their tasks then as well. As soon as we get our initial class of course."

He then pointed to his right, the final room. What Kronn had failed to mention so far, was that the room they were in was incredibly tall, with multiple stories rising up to the top of the Academy, with several floors having overhangs overlooking the area they were in. Pillars held up the various levels, and the teachers were walking the stairs and areas above Kronn, and some were looking down in their direction.

"And this is the Tournament Auditorium, where the Whirlwind Tournament is happening right now. Would you like to view the festivities? Or go elsewhere? The only places left to show are the courtyard, the canteen and the armoury."
The Cerberus Alliance
06-01-2008, 21:43
If that's all this facility has, I have to wonder about all of that excess space, Icarus thought. And while I do want to see this event, I have to wonder why he's keeping silent about what's in the upper levels that are overlooking this corridor. That, and why I'm sensing a bit of movement up there. Definitely an ambush waiting to happen if I ever saw one.

He made sure to keep this in mind before he responded to Kronn.

"Let's continue on to the tournament. My superiors would probably like to know about the kinds of students you allow in here more than the simple layout of the building. We wouldn't want to send our own gifted to a place that would simply weigh down their potential.

"That, and then I might want to see this library and the training rooms myself before I return to report to the rest of the council back home."
Werkan
06-01-2008, 22:02
He sensed something about his guest, but dismissed it, as he didn't want to appear skeptical or doubtful.

"There are more rooms present, they are mainly the accomadation areas, and the diplomacy chamber. The rooms are not small however, such as the Assembly chamber and the rooms past it are incredibly vast, as is the Library, as we include every single piece of history from over the several millenia our civilisation has been around."

He then opened the door to the tournament auditiorium with a simple flick, and strode through. Instantly, the sound of lightsaber clashes and screams were heard, as the semi finals were coming to an end, along with the cheering of the crowd, as thousands of people had been invited to watch over the tournament. Darth Kronn walked to the highest part of the auditorium, which was also centremost, and took his seat. One was empty next to him for his guest. Around him sat his family, closest friends and his guards, although they were fairly relaxed.

"Let me see what talent the remaining few have."

This demanding shout from Kronn made all of the still living contestants jolt upright and salute the Lord before the first round of the finals began. The first fighters were locals, from aristocratic lines, Kierac Al'Tornal and Weize Pouricua, and the fighting was fierce. Kierac threw himself into combat, striking constantly at Weize, simply battering away at his defences. This left him open however, as after Kierac leapt overheard for an aerial attack, Weize force pushed him into the wall seperating the crowd from the arena. Kierac groaned in pain, and only just managed to escape a killing blow from Weize, who brought his saber down onto where his head just was. Kierac then fought back, striking low, and then force pulling Weize's legs from under him, before bringing his saber down towards his chest.

Weize blocked it, and then let out a defeaning yell, sending Kierac reeling, clutching his head in pain as Weize had used Force Scream. Weize then took this chance to fly towards Kierac, and struck the youngster in the arm, then the leg, crippling him and making him fall to the floor. Weize went to deliver the killing blow, but Kierac rolled out of the way and used the last bit of his energy, as he was fading fast, to use Force Lightning, hitting Weize right in the chest, making him drop his saber and go flying backwards, hitting the ground hard. Kierac then picked up his own saber, and Weize's, and threw both at Weize, who was getting up to his knee. Weize dodged Kierac's saber, but was hit right in the chest with his own saber, and collapsed to the floor, dead.

Kierac stood up, and saluted Kronn with his good arm. Kronn nodded towards him and signalled a halt.

"Congratulations Kierac, you shall be one of our first students. Head to the medical bay to get your wounds treated, then come and join me in these seats."

Kierac simply saluted again and limped out of the arena. Kronn laughed to himself and turned to his guest, awaiting any questions.

"How did you find that?"

He laughed again, as he had enjoyed the thrill of seeing a duel, as his last had been years ago.

Kronn laughed to himself, he was glad his guest was enjoying the fight, seemingly as much as he was.

"Our initial class is hopefully going to contain 14 to 20 new pupils, it really depends on whether the winners of the finals survive hahaha."

The guard joined in the laughter, while Kronn looked down at the arena and bellowed his same order as before, the next match was about to begin.

"Ah.....Zack Starfallen...my nephew. I watch this match with great interest."

The entire arena fell silent, and it seemed as if everybody leaned forward. Zack had a lot to live up to, and he didn't have it easy either, with his opponent being an older, taller and more well trained man than himself, Duran Piorgi, a local teacher.

After a brief salute they charged towards each other. Duran instantly tried to win the match by force throwing his saber at Zack, but the youngster flipped over it and then force pushed Duran backwards. However, the blade came close to impaling Zack on it's return, but he managed to block the blade just in time. He was then kept on the defensive when Duran rolled forward, grabbed his blade, and ferociously battered away at the youngster. Duran managed to force Zack down to one knee with his strength, and was seen to taunt Zack, a sign of overconfidence. Whatever he taunted Zack about seemed to anger the youngster, as he picked Duran up using the force and threw across the entire arena, crashing to the ground with a thud. Duran's blade was knocked out of his hand, but he pulled it towards him and stood up quickly.

Zack flew into the air and struck from above, but Duran was able to block each blow, until Zack managed to find an opening and sliced the upper left thigh of Duran, who reeled backwards in pain. Zack then leapt forwards again, causing Kronn to lean forward even more to wander what Duran had said to him, and attacked from every direction, eventually disarming Duran by chopping off his left hand, his saber hand. Duran screamed out in pain, but used his remaining hand to unleash a deadly amount of force lightning right into the face of Zack, sending him hurtling backwards into the arena wall. He collapsed and appeared to be out cold. Duran laughed, occasionally cringing in pain, before approaching Zack's body. Duran raised his blade to deliver the final blow, but Zack suddenly shot full of life, hitting Duran with a bolt of lightning to his wound, stunning him, and then lifted him into the air once more with the force. Duran tried to attack with his good hand, but his hand suddenly opened up then cracked, and he screamed in pain, a scream that then turned silent once Zack shoved his saber right into his throat. Zack then threw the lifeless body of Duran before his uncle and strode out of the arena towards the medical bay to have himself checked for any wounds he didn't notice.

"Quite a talented boy don't you think?"

Kronn then noticed Kierac from earlier heading up the steps, with his wounds healed, and welcomed him to take a seat behind him.

OOC: After your next post, we will count the tournaments as done, and I will summarise each match, to save time.

Kurax was aboard a small starfighter, with the Werkanion symbol, two snakes twisted into a W, on each side. He was a tall man, with short, blond hair. He wore a long black cloak that was synonymous with the Sith, and had his lightsaber hanging by his side.

He flew his ship to the co-ordinates he was given, and came out of hypserspace nearby a huge battleship, which he supposed was The Crusader.

He landed his ship in the first hangar he saw, and as soon as he had touched down he lowered the door. He then stood up from his seat and made his way to the exit, making sure he looked as presentable as possible, stopping along the way to make sure he was alert and awake. Once he reached the door he stood confidently down into the hangar, and awaited his host, pulling his hood back to reveal himself...

Aboard the DIFS Inquisitor Jaenelle vel Omnis, envoy of the empire of Diclonus and of the Empress, may she live forever, began to close in on Planet Werkan. The Vector class ship, a smaller version of the Vector class Assault ship, was designed for one Diclonius with a minimum of eight vectors to pilot alone. Manipulating the controls on her ship, she opened a channel to the planet.

"Werkan control, the is the Inquisitor requesting permission to land. We have the Diclonius envoy aboard." Jaenelle restrained a chuckle. She had never understood why protocol demanded that even a one man ship use the term we when in contact with other races. Bringing her ship to a stop near the edge of their defenses, she waited for a response intently.

"Werkan control, the is the Inquisitor requesting permission to land. We have the Diclonius envoy aboard."

Bercix jumped to his feet and placed his finger on the button to open the door then pressed on the speaker

"This is Werkan flight control, you have permission to land. A spot has been saved for you in Hangar 5, it is the furthest right once you come into visual contact with the spaceport, welcome to our planet, and enjoy your visit."

"Enjoy your visit?!?!" since when was the last time that Bercix had said that. Nevermind he thought, and sent a message to Kronn in the arena of the new arrival, then called the escort to come into the hangar and greet the new guest.

Jaenelle's mouth quirked into a grin as she heard the voice of the controlman. Aparrently she had caught him by surprise with her arrival. Ahhh, the joys of Diclonus stealth tech.

"Aknowledged Control; Inquisitor out." Manipulating the controls carefully, she began her descent down to the planets space port. Her view of the planet's main city soon came into view, revealing a dark and forboding landscape quite different from Diclos Prime where she had grown up. She quickly finished her docking and activated the ships defensive AI, a program that would activate the ships waepons if anyone unauthorized, a category which currently included everyone but her, appropoched the ship.

Stepping out of the ship through a door she knew had opened from seemingly nowhere, she walked down to her escort, while delighting inwardly at his expression at the sight of her ship. A ship that was unlike anything made by anyone not Diclonius in the galaxy.

"Hello, my name is Lady Jaenelle vel Omnis, envoy from the Imperial Council of Seven of Diclonus and of the Empress, may she live forever. You are?"

"The child certainly had talent, though his opponent got far too overconfident for someone apparently lacking in full training. Things might have gone differently if his opponent had known how to exploit that rage that the kid went into.

"However, a win is a win no matter how you look at it. He might have just exposed a weakness to everyone here, but his foe is dead. Mission accomplished."

Icarus noticed Kierac and couldn't help but think that medical services had worked extremely quickly on healing the injuries recieved during that fight. Now that he thought about it, he figured that there were quite a few pieces of technology here that the Protectorate didn't have widely available. Perhaps getting schematics and other information might prove useful.

However, he decided that he'd ask about that at a later time. Perhaps after the end of the tournament.

Sank'eth turned as the Adeptus Custodes entered the room, he was holding a glass in one hand, and took a swigg every few minutes. He wasn't wearing any power armour, but he was still huge, larger than even the Custodes.
"Greetings Darth Kurax, I have been long looking forward to meet you. Come sit down, have a drink." The Custodes bowed, and left the room. A chair floated down from somewhere in the high ceiling, and levitated a few feet off the ground. A plate also came down, full of fruit from the Star Inheritors homeworld, and drink as well, this too hovered above the ground. "Don't worry, theres nothing poisenous in this wonderful sustanence." He took a piece from the dish and popped it into his mouth. "See? Harmless."

"Ander Provax, Werkanion Senate Senior Official. I must say my lady, that your ship is very impressive, maybe you could tell me a little about your people on the trip to the Academy. Darth Kronn sends his apologies that he could not meet with you in person, as he is currently attending to another guest."

Ander then bowed as was his custom, as the Senate were very polite unlike the Sith, and gestured for Lady Jaenelle to follow him.

"This way to the transport, it is a very fast vehicle, just a warning. We have had far too many guests despise the journey before because of it. What we will do first is have a tour of the Academy, then a meeting with Darth Kronn when he is availiable, then we shall talk about this exchange program should you see our Academy as acceptable."

Perhaps getting schematics and other information might prove useful.

However, he decided that he'd ask about that at a later time. Perhaps after the end of the tournament.

Kronn smiled yet again, and nodded in agreement.

"You see, that is what is so great about this tournament, you get to mould unpredictable students to get rid of their weaknesses. Better now than later when he faces a trained Jedi or otherwise."

Kronn then spoke with Kierac and told him who would be training him, then turned back to the arena and signalled for the rest of the tournament to begin.

Several matches took place one after another, with each producing a clearly dominant victor. One such match was between Mexor Pollar and Xam Kamma, two fairly unknown people. Both seemed equal at the start, until Xam let loose with his superior force lightning, singing his opponent to a crisp. It was shorter as opposed to the last two matches, but was still exciting. Eight matches, to be specific, took place after this one. The victors being Jatt Teeb, who won after a stomach slice following a force push, Cyrus Nhagy, who won by force pulling his opponent onto his saber, Sul Vand, who won by decapitating his opponent, Reylan Chupa-Pau, who won by simply disarming then impaling his opponent, Boc D'jek, an alien who won by battering his opponent into submission then making him take his own life, Nash Prower, who won with a spinning strike to the chest, Ahm Sisk, who emerged victorious after an impaling blow through the skull, and finally, the only woman to win, Selena Mugaba, who threw her lightsaber and caught her opponent in the throat.

With the festivities over, Kronn dismissed all of the new students to their quarters for the night in order to rest up for the introduction of their masters etc. Kronn then gestured for Icarus to follow him to a place where they could speak without being swarmed by the spectators.

"So Icarus, what did you think overall of the festivities? Too easy? Too vicious? And what do you wish to do now, as you can retire to your quarters for the night if you wish, or if you have any questions ask them now."

Kurax smirked slightly before taking his seat in the hovering chair. He then took a piece of food and took a bite. He chewed for a while before smiling and taking more. At one point, he thought a piece of meat was a bit bland, so he shocked it briefly to cook it a little bit, something that always amused him, before eating it.

"Sank'eth sir, thankyou for accepting me. I know how worried people can be about meeting a Sith, but I will show you the Werkanions are different, and thankyou for the food, it has hit the spot."

He continued to eat and sip his drink, slowly however, not wanting to forego the manners he had learnt, before turning very serious.

"What do you wish to talk about first Sank'eth sir?"

Jaenelle nodded politely to the senator that led her to the transport, though in truth she was a bit dissapointed. She had been hoping that the one to meet her might be someone with at least a bit of power and presence. Instead she got a beuracrat who no Diclonius could respect for the lack of power. Nevertheless, she was here to be a diplomat, so she turned to him as the transport warmed up, looking at him with red eyes framed by short crimson hair and began to talk.

"It is... nice to meet you." She began. "I'm afraid that i can't tell you too much about the ship, and it most likely wouldn't make sense anyway. I can tell you that its the lightest class of ship made by the Empire, but it is still able to defend itself. Also, i would recommend that nobody comes within ten feet of it without me. The ships defensive AI is currently programmed to destroy anything that moves within ten feet of itself besides me."

Wiping the sweat off her brow, she noticed how hot it was, at least in comparrison to Diclos Prime. "Do you mind if i remove my hat?" she asked, though she didn't wait for an eanswer before doing so, revealing a pair of horns that she promptly rubbed for a few moments that jutted from her head, shaped vaugley like cat ears.

Then the transport began to move.

(OOC: gj to werkan for keeping up his multi character rp. Also, i will let you handle the arrival.)

"This little tournament gave me quite a good view of your requirements for entry: A level of skill developed prior to academy entry, and enough luck to not be put up against someone better than you. I can see the wisdom in it. Not having to waste effort on beginner-level training, and not having to waste time on those that fate itself would determine to be lost causes."

Icarus paused, stopping to think for a moment before finishing off his statements to Kronn. This is probably the best time to mention it...

"By the way: Prior to my departure, which will likely be tomorrow depending on the arrival of the escort ship, I would like to gain some information and schematics concerning certain pieces of technology that I have seen here. Namely the medical technology that allowed for such speedy healing of the combatants in the tournament, as well as the 'lightsaber' wewapons that they were using. The protectorate would have plenty of uses for such technology, and we would likely be more than happy to part with resources and perhaps a few of our more aggressive students in exchange."

OOC: Sorry guys, had a hectic school/work schedule as of late, so this kinda hit the backburner, but I am back now.

Then the transport began to move.

Ander was slightly taken aback by the horns, but he left it to himself as he was so taught. He took his seat in the transport and signalled for the machine to begin. It started with a jolt, then raced through the trees outside of the hangar and made it's way along the road. Within minutes, they had arrived.

Ander stepped out and opened the door for Lady Jaenelle. Once she had emerged, he turned and gazed up at the Academy.

"This.." said Ander "is typical of Werkanion military architecture, tall spires, fairly large, and mechanical in colour."

He waited for Jaenelle to look a little bit before signalling

"Well then, shall we enter. I believe that the Whirlwind Tournament has now ended, and Darth Kronn will be able to convene with you shortly."

Kronn smiled, his guest was pleased and impressed, just as he had hoped. He then nodded after listening to what was said.

"That is exactly our thinking, we only accept people who have proved themselves to be fighters and already live their way of life, as we despise those who drop out due to it being too rough or silly feelings like that."

Kronn brushed his hand through his hair.

"Follow me, and I'll share the information with you."

Kronn lead Icarus towards the medical bay that wasn't far away, and saw some of the later participants of the tournament emerging. He nodded his head to each, and they bowed back. He placed his hand on the door panel, which beeped for a little bit before opening and letting him in. When they entered the room, every single piece of wall was covered in tanks filled with a strange liquid.

"One thing that has to be said, we don't waste any space at all hahaha. Each of these tanks contains a liquid that is filled with nanobots, absolutely tiny things, that rebuild the area around the wounds you suffer in battle. The person involved in the healing has to be put into a stasis in order to prevent them from ruining the process. Of course, the worse the wounds, the longer it takes, but it is usually instant, as we have learned how men are constantly needed when fighting, and will not allow for men to be away from fighting for too long. Usually Bacta tanks take forever to repair wounds, so we created our own version, with sped up activity."

Kronn then walked over to a panel on the wall and typed in his code and clicked on the schematics menu. After clicking another button, a small canister dropped from above them into his hand, and he turned around to Icarus.

"Here are the plans and schematics, handle them well, as they are the only ones we are allowed to pass on. If you have trouble deciphering them, as some of the instructions are written in Werkanion, ask the Head Archive Minister in the Library to help if you need to. As for the Lightsaber designs, follow me and I will take you to our lightsaber workshop..."

He then pulled something out of his back pocket.

"This is the code to your apartment, it is on the top floor. Just so you know ahead of time."

Kronn then slowly made his way towards the workshop, awaiting any questions at all.
