President Hogart stood by the gate of the Democratic Ballroom, the place where President Jonathan Hasley held the elction ball several years ago. He hoped that this Xanadouien ball would help strengthen relations between every nation residing in Xanadou. Behind him a detachment of the 501st division fired their Enfield No.4s off into the air, before standing in a line perfectly diciplined, representing their brave division.

Hogart sighed and flattened some wrinkles on his tuxedo. 'I hope this dosn't go as bad as the 1st Cazelian ball...

The Slick Sports car rolled not too far, as the Estovakian Leader Drove himself, parking not to far, and swiftly yet stylishly made his way to the Democratic Ballroom. He looked at himself, as this was his first international celebration he has been to. He walked up the steps and saw another distiguished looking man and extended his hand and said, " Hello, I am Jason Soryu Sukhoi, President of Estovakia."

Tomoyo and Charles arrived at the Ball Room, greeting President Hogart.

"Thank you for throwing such an elaborate ball for the Region and all it's neighbors."

Charles would ironically see leaders and dignitaries of his home country. He rose from Commoner to Prince.

"Mr. Sukhoi, I'm Princess Tomoyo Weaver of Kurona. Thank you for coming to the Xanadou Ball."

"No, Thank you." President Sukhoi said, "And Such a wonderful night."

Tomoyo bowed "Please excuse me." Tomoyo went about preparing to great any other guests that might arrive.

"Oh, Sorry to keep you."

Barked the Commissar, as the men went stiff, their M-16 rifles held out in front of them "AIM! READY! FIRE!" He roared, as the Marines fired their rifles off into the air four times in perfect cohesion

The helicopter flew straight at the building, then suddenly swerved at the ground. It smashed, leaving a small crater. Scarlov got out of the wreck "Hello everyone, I'm Scarlov Mall, President of Tornar. The plane was experimental, not yet functioning properly" he remarked casually. His guard pulled up beside him "I've been trying to lose them all day" Scarlov said quietly to Hogart.

"And you did that by crashing a helicopter into a tower?" He whispered angrily

"Hey, that's a G-5 heron, it's hard to fly, it's got three blades, and it's experimental" he retorted, pouting. "And you haven't been around those guards, I can barely survive with them around"

"I don't give a shit, that burger king cost the government 10 million NSDs!"

"You think that's expensive?" he said, smirking. "That heron cost 400 mil alone! You think I would crash it purposefully? You have got to be joking!"

"I see. But you're paying for that burger king by tommorow, ya hear!"

"No matter, lets head inside" Scarlov walked up the steps to the ballroom, and took a look around. "When will everyone be ariving?" he asked. "Was I early?"

Elenore her Husband and her sister Margaret and Margaret's boyfriend arrived dressed in their best.

"Such a shame, she was a great dancer." Elenore's husband said.

Their arrival was announced: Prime Minister Elenore Romney-Burk, Josh Burk, Margaret Romney her boyfriend Alan Parker."

Margaret turned red, her boyfriend just smiled at her.

"It's not like I'm the First Daughter." Margaret said embarrassed.

President Hogart walked over to the Kanami delegation and extended his hand "Greetings, I'm James Hogart, President of Cazelia. Welcome to the Xanadou ball"

The name Elenore always lifted Tomoyo's spirits. They were more like best friends instead of politcal colleauges.

"Elenore, thank you for coming. It's good to see you Joshua, Margaret."

Premeir Rei Nakagishima soon came to The Ball room fallowed by Grand Admiral Ryu, Grand Pirate Admiral Kanna, Grand General Asuka and Sky Marshal Tarkhani Shiyusyu. Rei was wearing a Red and Black Dress with a Large Headdress made of Shark Teeth and Peacock Feathers.

"Boy, seems have of Xanadou is here." Kanna said, looking at the Guests. "Looks like The Cazelians know how to throw a Ball," Ryu said, soon spying Tomoyo. "Hey Tomoyo-sama......" She begun when she tripped and started slideing on the Floor, stopping near Tomoyo, Ryu's Bottom sticking up in the air.

"Oh hello." She helped Ryu up.

Baldwin Villehardouin, Prime Minister of Latin Byzantines, walked into the ballroom with his Kanamian wife, Haruko. They were dressed in formal clothes and had left their children in the care of family friends.

Baldwin looked at the other guests for a couple of seconds until his eyes were focused on Elenore Romney, one of Baldwin's old friends. "It is nice to see Elenore again, I still remember when I first met her during my visit to Kanami." He remembered those memories of his visit to Kanami while he walked towards Elenore and hoped that Elenore remembered him.

"It is nice to meet you once again, Elenore and it is nice to meet Joshua, who I assume is your husband and Margaret, your daughter." Baldwin smiled at Margaret. "I have two daughters back home and Haruko is....well how can I praise such a good mother?"

"Sorry for interupting, Yet I have yet to get to know you or your friends. I wish to learn more about the fine people attending." he said with a bit of nervosness, being a young leader.

"Oh certianlly, this is Prime Minister Elenore Romney of Kanami, her husband Joshua, and her younger sister Margaret and her date. This is Prime Minister Baldwin Villehardouin, his wife Haruko of LatinByzatines. This is Ryu of The Ryou Black Islands. And I belive I see Empress Sakura Kinimoto over there!" She waved her in.

Baldwin smiled at Tomoyo before looking to see the leader of Estovakia. After listening to Tomoyo introduce him and the other guests, Baldwin walked away from the others, walking to the leader of Estovakia.

"It is a nice to meet you, Sir. Yes, I am Baldwin Villehardouin, the Prime Minister of Latin Byzantines."

"This is Golden Horse coming in for landing tower, over."

"Roger that, Golden Horse. Clear for landing. Welcome to Xanadou."

The Mil Mi-24 slowly came down on the section of airstrip reserved for helicopters and the pilot and co-pilot began to shut down the copter's systems. The door on the side of the Mil Mi-24 snapped open and out stepped Grand Khan Oyunimo, followed by his personal guard. Dressed like they were ready for battle he bore the traditional battle armor of the Khan as did his guards. However, the armor was actually top-grade Dragon Skin body armor material covered over with a layer of traditional leather which most Mongolian armors were made of.

The Grand Khan and his escort then arrived at the Democratic Ballroom by limousine and he approached the entrance, flanked by his rather intimidating guards.

"Thanks for coming Ryu, and you as well Baldwin."

"Thank you." Ryu said, "Rei Nagakishima is here also, along with a few others."

Miamorga walked in to the ballroom after getting out of his ride. He was dressed in his best suit. He immediatly walked to the dancefloor which is where he felt most at home. As he waited for whichever beautiful maiden that wished to join him.
