We, the people of Yutugeria hereby declare war on the corrupt nation of Ushcabal. You pose a threat to our people and chancellor. We hope other nations will joi us in this battle.
Alfegos wishes to inform your nation of the "sticky" threads at the top of the forum, and advises that you read the bottom two threads. Therefore, you will not accuse accusations from the other users of the forum as a "NOOB", or other examples of "flaming".
Then, you can try posting a thread on International Incidents.
I would also reccomend, if your spelling/english is not that good, that you use a browser such as Firefox or use Microsoft Word to type out your posts beforehand.
Finally, when you start a thread, try to be a bit less concise, and explain actually why you are fighting Ushcabal, and detail what troop movements are occuring. After all, this is a RolePlaying Forum.

Whatever happened to diplomacy? In the old days there was an elaborate diplomatic dance nations went through before declaring war, and even then most DoW's didn't go hot. Nowadays we don't hear about them negotiating, we don't see the evidence for their reasons, it's just bam! Send in the ICBM firing stealth flamethrower tanks!

mikewilliams, when did that ever happen? Wars have been occurring for no reason, or scarce little reason, for as long as the means to wage war have been available. Look at even developed powers like Doomingsland or Automagfreek -- some of their wars are just thinly veiled imperialism or excuses to show off some new military toy. It's all due to the MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX and its demands upon the economies of nations that support it. What scares me is how everyone is too apathetic to do much about it

Basically, the idea behind this forum(International Incidents) is to roleplay wars and other major events. You´ll get used to it after a while.
