Official Mandalorian Merc. Message

We see your current situation, and we wish to shed some light on you. First, isn't it true that Maldorian forces are stationed in your country? Shouldn't they be enough to ward off any invaders? Second issue; we will be willing to send a few divisions to secure your borders, if you so wish. What is that you need? Air power? A coastal patrol? We'll ship the equipment and men as soon the question is answered. Thank you.

~Board of Directors.

P.S. Don't hire any other illegal mercs. We are the only legal mercenary group.

We are sorry to say, but we must refuse your proposal.

To the UDSC,

We are not in any need of equipment for these contractors or our official military, but if we are ever in need of weapons such as small arms or land equipment you will be the first we call.

To the Mandalore or the Mandalorian Empire of Maldorians,

I wish to speak to you else were, or more privately.

That is...odd because I don't believe I've done anything wrong except state A) that Maldorians are already in Greston and B) that we will let Greston hire a few divisions. OOC: Yes, I seriously don't get how that is god modding. In addition to what Vontanas stated, it was still part of the message to Greston. That is, in no means, an act of god modding. The leaders of Mandalorian Merc. feel that they are the only legal company. This has been said many, many times in RPs with other Merc companies. Check the Dark Moon Army thread to see one such example.

OOC: Fine then, I guess its not godmodding so to speak but you can't claim ICly that you have a monopoly on the industry as many other countries have merc companies. Several of these countries are bigger and more powerful than you, if you insist on claiming that you have a monopoly than I really will have no choice but to forcebly destroy it. Now really, lets RP and quit the OOC bickering.

To Whom It May Concern,

The Imperial Koalition of Kroando currently has a large battle group in the region, which is completely capable of fulfilling any mercenary duties there may be to perform. KroKore, the Armed Forces of Kroando, is among the elite military organizations in the world, with expirience in conflicts across the globe, training paralelled by few, and top notch weaponry. In addition they are in greater supply and number than any small scale mercenary organization you may be currently hiring out.

As to why the Koalition may be so generous as to hire these Legionnaires of Kroando... returning from engagements in one of our various overseas possessions, it is simply financially cheaper for us to have them stay in the sector of the world they are currently in... rather than transport them the additional 4,000 miles they would need to traverse in order to return home. These soldiers are under my complete control for the next three years, and as such, would make perfect mercenaries.

Regarding the pricing of these soldiers, it entirely depends on what it is you seek to hire out? Do you merely desire infantry? Or do armored vehicles, tanks and artillery come to mind? Additionally there is a large naval and aerial force at my disposal, all of which may be hired out for the right price. If you are at all interested, please, detail what force types you so desire.

To Grand Marshall Rew Kharne,

Regularly we pay 2,000 USDs per mercenary, but since you proposed APCs and tanks we would wonder if for every man on duty to tanks and APC we will pay 6,000 and 2,000 for the regular Infantry men which will be everyone else. We also wish to know if you have any problems working with other mercenary corporations. If not send the men and we will send the money. Thank you.

To Silent Death,

We have wired the money hope to see the men.

Over the next several weeks Silent Death mercenaries slipped into Greston and began assembling near the east coast. Information had been obtained through several channels that the Grestonians were going to use some foreign military to protect most of the country. This did not trouble the mercenaries, afterall the Grestonian government had been stupid enough to send the money in advance, if the job ended early they still had the money in full. Several of the men thought it was unnecessary to be so covert on a simple security mission but the Grestonians had mentioned that the Mandalore was threatening them to hire a Maldorian company to guard the country and that it would be better to be quiet about who the mercenaries were rather than be attacked by a bigger nation for something stupid. As the men gathered in the camp they sat and waited for orders from the Grestonian government.

The payment of 2,000 USD, plus supply costs shall be adequate for every standard Legionnaire deployed, as shall 10,000 USD per Mechanized Unit [APC w/6 men or Tank w/crew]. This price is to be paid monthly via wire to a specified account. The issue of how many units you wish to purchase still needs to be resolved. [How many soldiers/APC Units/Tanks?]

The leader of the border guard operation was a man by the name of Alex Gamit. He was 40 years old and had been a veteran of nearly every Aurum Doman conflict in the last 25 years. He had only joined the company last year but with his large amount of experience he was hired as an Operation Chief on the spot.

As the Greston delegation approached a short message was radioed to them:

The money was taken from the Grestonian by a DR 83 wielding guard and then placed in a safe in the corner of the room. Alex Gamit sat down at a small table then motioned for the Grestonians to do the same. After they sat down he began speaking, "Our only question is, what is the status of the Maldorian Mercs? Rumour had it that they were trying to come here and run the show. After you answer that just give me your specific orders and I'll pass them down to my men."

Arriving In Greston

The Kroandon 12th Legion arrived in upon the horizon a mere three days after the terms of the contract were agreed upon. 30,000 men, 7,000 Puma IFV's, 3,000 Kraken II MBT's, at the price of 160,000,000 per month, about 3/5 of which would go to paying the soldiers, 1/5 to the Kroandon Treasury, and the final portion into Kharne's personal bank account. A bank account which exceeded the GDP's of many developing countries, which rivaled those of Corporate CEO's, and surpassed the vaults of the Egyptian Pharoes. Kharne's men, already being paid their salaries by Kroando, were simply taking bonuses at this point, taking a rather cushy job of being border patrols... in comparison to putting down the Rebellion in West Scotzdom, this would be a walk in the park.

30,000 Kroandon Legionnaires, battle hardened, elite soldiers of the Koalition, marched off the boats in full military gear, camo, boots, gas masks equipped, C1 Assault Rifles at the shoulder. An impressive force indeed, and when coupled with the thunder created by the Kraken II's rolling onto the Grestonian Shores, and that of the Puma IFV's, Grestonian Civilians watching the arrival could only stand in awe. The Legionnaires would take up their positions along the border, and simply sit... collect money... and await further orders.

Heavily Encryped Message to Greston

Vassal, ill-news has arrived. Shredderstan, a vassal of Maldorians, has rebelled against us, accompanied by a group of cowards, including the nation of Kroando. We thought that Kroando seemed nice, but do not be deceived. We strongly urge you to expell their mercenaries from your country quickly. We also suggest that you stop letting mercenaries come in, for you have enough already. Our forces and whatever is currently in your nation is plenty. You are wasting senseless money. So, remember, kick out those Kroandioans and their foolish mercenaries.

To the SSS,

You will be patrolling the western water boder which is the land that borders the uninhabited area.

OOC: look at the map

To The Tyranical Maldorian Empire of Maldorians,

Rest assured as long as they don't show any signs of backstabbing us we are going to have them remain. If we find the slightest sign that they are planning to attack us your vassal companies and my own companies have the right to slaughter them without warning.

IC:

The Hawk listened to the Arum Domus Merc and when he finished he replied, "Well Maldorians and us have a contract, we are his vassals and he has strong military prescense in here to protect us. But because of past events he is scared for our well being that you mercs might do something to us because of you bad relations with him, that is all really. So all you and your men have to do is protect the border from enemies, if your men prove themselves as fighters you can possibly go into combat with us or the Grestonian Military. So have fun, hope to speak with you later, if both of us are still alive, then I will see you next month." the HAwk shook his hand and left.

Western Water Border

Luke Jardis looked around the area they were patrolling. He was a man of 40 years, battle hardened and had the appearance of someone who could snap a man in half. He was also a joker.

"I tell you what. It's nice to have a bit of a babysitting mission. Protect the border, kill infiltrators. Almost standard procedure."

Harlow Jones was in Jardis' squad, a more serious man who fought for money and rarely principles.

"Standard Procedure my ass. This place was practically unprotected before we got here. This nations enemies would have picked it up and for all we know there could be a whole army marching towards us to get in. We got to do is let them knock on the door, we open it and stick a bullet in their head. We're going to war, that's what I reckon.", said Harlow.

"Yeah well. As long as they don't break the door down and crash the party I'll be happy." replied Luke.

The SSS camp looked like any other military camp. Tents had been set upto accomodate the mercenaries, mercenaries patrolled the perimeter in 3's andthere were machine gun turretsall around which were manned 24/7. If anyone wanted to attack they'd have their workcut outfor them.

James Turner of the 3rd Sniper Section, 4th Stryker Infantry Battalion, 5th Stryker Brigade looked at the telegram in his hand. He was sitting on a bed in a hotel somewhere in the middle of the ocean. He was on vacation and had decided to go to a small island. The ocean breeze came though the opened window. James read the telegram which stated he had to report to a place called Greston, or something like that, in seventy-two hours. James smiled and picked up his cell phone from the top of a near by dresser. He called a nearby airport and reserved a seat on an airplane that would take off in seventy hours from now. Until then, this Diamond gun for hire was hitting the beaches of this small island. Though James did not know, 39,999 of his comrades were doing the same thing.

In some other place everything from Strykers to tanks were being loaded onto aircraft. Their destination was the Greston border where they would take on border guard duty until otherwise stated. The aircraft went up in the air one by one as their cargo holds were filled with gear and soldiers. To become the "Bright Protector" for someone in need.

"How much action do you expect on this front? 10,000 is not a number associated with protection, its associated with battle. You're expecting something big to occur here aren't you? Maybe not soon but something is going to happen.

My men and I were discussing this earlier. Before we arrived this place wasa gaping hole in your defence and any half decent army would have picked it up so given time they could already be prepped and on their way. If you know of anything information confirming my suspicions you will tell me so I ca best prepare."

Husky did not take his job lightly. He felt responsible for every mercenary out there and if one was killed then he would blame it on himself. Preparation was survival and now he stared at the Hawk with a cold stare.
