After much berating by Field Marshal Regulus, Aide to the Emperor Cretius, and Admiral Von Grissem, His Majesty Emperor Heinrich Theodoric Hansburg II has decided that an embassy district will be established in both imperial capitals, Imperia and Ottonia, with no more than 100 embassies in each.

Each nation will be given a building of appropriate size to accomedate 30 diplomatic staff, and 20 security personnel. All required office space will be provided. No armed or military grade vehicles please, and no explosive or incinderary weapons please, or weapons of a calibur higher than .50 (and/or fully automatic). Additional staff or security will be provided should it be required. Please use the form below to apply for an embassy.

Emperor Heinrich read the application over. He stopped at the vehicles listed. He turned around in his desk chair, calling his aide.
"Octavius!"
"Yes, my liege?" the aide inquired as he entered. Marshal Von Dredicburg was with him. They must have been discussing something.
"The application here says under the vehicles list: '3 Chinooks if accepted.' What the hell is a Chinook?"
Octavius was at a loss. He had no idea either. "Umm... err..."
Von Dredicburg injected his thoughts at this point. "I believe it is a type of helicopter."
"Oh. Well, should I just approve this or what...?" asked the young Emperor.
Von Dredicburg sighed. Sometimes he really thought the boy was in over his head. "Tell them only if they provide them themselves, and that they will need to have a modification made to the landing pad."
"Alright. Thanks."
The aide and the Marshal both bowed. "My pleasure, Sir," replied the middle-aged military officer.
"My pleasure as well, Sire," added Octavius nervously. He was a little embarassed that he had been of very little, if any help.

The upshot of all this is this, Vietnam Empire: Imperial Officers don't particularly care, but there is only room on the landing pad for one helicopter (the pad is at the embassy itself). You can modify the pad if you so desire. It is up to you.

Heinrich looked nonplussed as he read The Spice Mines' application. It was, umm...unusual, to say the least. Nevertheless, if you only counted the bodyguards as half a security officer, well, it was still too many. And the vehicles were...strange. And the lack of showers and baths, plus the use of mules was sure to make the place smell...colorful, to say the least. Oh well.
