The bolts caused the Thelar to step back a few steps, but after he shook it off, he seemed only to get angry. With blinding speed, he grabbed the commander, and boddily threw him, probably ten feet.

Ministry of Peace (Prevoygrad) - 12h00 - 29/03/2008 -
Inside the imposing edifice of the Ministry of Peace, chaos reigned. It really wasn't Minister John Donder's best day - a nuclear submarine had just gone missing in his back yard. And it had SLBMs aboard. Goodness only knew what was going on!
"Minister, I think you should read this message, we've just received it from the Resolute"
ALERT ALL VESSELS CODE ALPHA MU KAPPA REPEAT ALPHA MU KAPPA STOP MINIPAX SITUATION LEWIS CAROL REPEAT LEWIS CAROL STOP PLEASE ADVISE
"What exactly does 'situation Lewis Carol' mean?"
"Sir, you may not believe this but it is the code telling us that a wormhole-type phenomenen has been sighted and that something, in this case the Repulse, has gone down it."
"So, what you're saying is that we've just lost a nuclear submarine down an entity that has never before been observed and has only been postulated about."
"That just about sums it up, Sir."
"This is all I need. Call the Direktor and advise him of our situation"
"Yes, minister"
"And then sent an ULF message to the Resolute asking for more details. Then, mobalise the fiftieth Corps of the Air marines, we may need them. And for heavens sake, find me someone who knows something about this anomaly!!!"
------------
Onboard the HDS Repulse, same time -
"So just repeat that, Mr Hill, you think that we have just gone through some sort of wormhole into a different universe."
"Yes, captain, that is the only explanation for what we are observing."
"Weapons, are we still able to launch our missiles?"
"Yes, sir. But may I ask why."
"Now might be a good time to try out the new Pegasus missile* we have on board; we need to know what is going on before we surface."
"I understand"
"Then launch missile 4"
One of the missiel hatches popped open, before a missile punched its way through the protective sheet into the water. It travel up to the surface, aided by a jet of air from te launch tube. Once at the surface, the rocket engines fired, a novel sight in the new world. The missile climbed to a hight of about 36 000 km before releasing its cargo and plunging, slowly at first, back to the ground.
The cannister released slowly unfolded to reveal a small reconnaisance sattelite. Soon it was furiously snapping away at the terrain below, trying in vain to match what it was seening with what its computer was telling it it should be seeing. Unable to fix its location, it just started to broadcast its information to the planet below.
The submarine sending up a communications buoy, soon established contact with the sattelite, receiving the fantatic information and giving the sattelite new instructions.
Now, with something familiar broadcasting to it, the sattelite used its thrusters to turn itself around so it was facing the stars. It started taking more photos, in the hope that they could find out where they were. Predictably, it failed.
Now, the sattelite started relaying a message from the submarine. Would anyone receive it?

"Fuck!"
The commander picked himself up, slotting a dislocated arm back into its socket with a crunch. That had not been expected. His opponent was faster, stronger and more experienced. And he knew he was going to die now. Often he had seen the effects of an adrnaline overdose caused by faulty genes in Alfegans. Now he understood what it was like. His whole body felt as if it was throbbing, and his higher conscience was dulled as if under a few pints of beer. He closed his eyes, opening them to reveal dilated pupils and bright blood vessels expanding throughout his eyes. His heartbeat reached a climax as he screamed out, in pain, anger and pure primal instinct. Fight or flight. He chose the first.
He charged at the werewolf, the bayonet raised, oblivious to the threat he was in. Drunk on sheer energy, he thundered into the werewolf.

The Thelar, instead of trying to dodge, stood his ground, and took the bayonet right in the gut. On a person with normal height, it probably would have been his heart. Grunting, he leaned down near the commanders head. "Nice try, pup." He growled. And with that he opened his jaws wide, showing fangs dripping with saliva, and went for the throaght.
The man ducked as the werewolf brought its jaws down towards him, ripping it upwards with enraged strength through the creatures body as far as the blade would go, before writhing away from the werewolf towards the electrolaser on the grass. That was the last of his sanity making him do that: the rage would have just made him stand there with the werewolf hanging onto his neck until he stopped smacking it around the head. It had been the horrible breath that had woken him up... some things did have good uses.
He crawled towards th gun on the ground, some indicator he didn't recognise flashing on the scope. It looked like a stylised explosion. Still, he didn't care about that as he lifted the rifle up and took aim and the infuriated werewolf lurching after him. He pulled the trigger....
Mereshka
30-03-2008, 19:12
The Thelar ripped the blade out of him, spattering blood on the ground. He howled, half with pain, half with rage, and leapt for the human.
As the Thelar lept towards him, his finger closed on the trigger. A circuit path was connected, and a signal current shot straight through the closed safety grip, and sunk into the central circuit board. Hundreds of microscopic switches closed, feeding power from the capacitors into a small crystal rod embedded in a mirror unit and into the lightning inductor. This was where the overcharged capacitors showed their deadly results: power that could not pass into the main weapon passed down emergancy diversion channels into already overfull capicitors, those already fired unable to take the discharge fast enough. Power backflowed through the circuit unit, melting connections as the internal temperature of the capacitor bank reached thousands of degrees. Chemicals, already reactive acids, exploded with the influx of molten casing and oxidised wires.
It was all over in barely a millisecond. A powerful explosion ripped through the weapon, showering the nearby unfortunates with boiling splatters of acid and flaming weapon parts. All there was left of the commander was a mutilated corpse, burning in a rapidly-spreading fire spreading across the ground.

The Thelar was completely covered in flames, and the surrounding werewolves were not faring much better. Alehkra, who had sheilded Deserae, was furiously rolling on the ground, trying to put out the fire on his back. The rest were running towards the nearby lake, but the Thelar was on the ground, praying for rain for all he was worth.

"ohh my god.....what does that mean?"
The Colonel watched as the battle ended in a ball of flame...
The retinue of men backed away from the increasing puddle of flame that had now slowed its advance to a mere crawl. From here, they could see the unearthly flames of the burst capacitors licking at the former commander's body.
"Well, at least he died a hero. Better than us pathetics..."
The new commander took to a knee, muttering something to himself, eyes closed.
"Let us bring out fire extinguishers, to quench the blaze!"
The fortress gates hefted themselves open, revealing 20 men carrying between the 10 fire extinguishers and assorted shovels. Careful to tread across the minefield with great consideration for their safety, they began sprinting towards the distant flames.
"Bury the fire or dig a fire break!"
Mereshka
02-04-2008, 00:51
The Thelar, dimly recognizing the fire extinguishers from his past, ran towards the soldiers. "Put it out! Please, put it out!" He cried in pain.
"Get the casualties out first, then contain the fire!"
8 men ran in with extinguishers, cutting a swath through the flames that was exacerbated by the men behind burying the fire with their shovels. Inside the area, they began holding back the fire, while four of them dragged the Thelar out of the flames on off behind the firebreak now being dug. So far, a cresent on the east, similar to the shape of the moon, surrounded the inferno that was attempting to escape across the barren land, and failing.
Dragged out smoking onto the grass, a team of medical-trained personnel gathered about, spraying him down with cool water from canisters, mixed with a weak alkali to neautralise any acid.
"Don't apply salve: he'll heal by himself!"

"I guess they didn't plan on showing up here at all. Very well. Send out two Blackhawks to rescue them. Do the UAVs show any signs of abnormality in anywhere they might be."

Indeed, the Thelar was healing by himself. What would have ordinarily been a brutal disfuguring, was dissapearing even as the werewolf screamed in agony. Alehkra, the fire on his back finally put out, walked over and helped him up. He turned to the humans. "May I ask to see what is now your commander?"
"He is over here. Please come."
The now head of this base was sat upon a rock a few hundred metres from the slowly dying fire, a medic attending to the acid burns across one side of his face. Though the chemicals were now removed from his face, they had left a mark: raw skin across the right hand side of his face, and a large bandage over his right eye. He knew he was most definately blinded in that eye, but for now was impervious to the pain, a generous dose of morphine passing through his system.
"Well, I guess that he died in his own spectacular way. I was told myself by him that he didn't have a hope of winning, but still... we are now alive, and soon we can negotiate terms of a ceasefire between us. If, of course, you will hold to your word."
He lifted up his right hand to his face, red blotches showing the acid burns that weren't covered in bandages.
"What a sorry sight I am."

Alehkra nodded. "Of course we will uphold the bargain. We hold to out honor still". He looked over the mans burns. "You know, if you were to become a werewolf, wounds such as that wouldn't even leave a mark. Your eye would be fine." He gestured at the Thelar, "Look at him. Not a mark, even from a fresh wound."
"Of course you are honourable."
He looked at the werewolves, considering their offer.
"You know as well as I do what the answer to any question relating to conversion is. I'm sure you know as well as I do about being stubborn. I can get this repaired, in time, and will eventually have it heal.
You took our leader, fine. But to take our humanity, you'll have to prise it from our cold dead hands."
He coughed, before looking up.
"Now, to get this sorted: is there any paperwork I have to do to make this ceasfire agreement ... officially agreed?"
(@Mokastana)
The fire had gone out in the distant, leaving clouds of smoke and the cries of the wounded.
"Quickly! Get out there and help them. I don't think this is attack any more..."
The sprinted out with whatever medical kit the could find, some even foregoing arms. There were many casualties out there. On both sides.

The mokans had dropped their guns, minus the AM-07s over their soldiers, and raced to help the wounded. Luckily they had stocked up on medical supplies before they raced here. However judging by the damage the stockpile was negligible. Luckily being Jaguar Elites, they all had field medical training and knew how to take care of most wounds. Though the methods they knew were either permanent fix that would cause life long side effects, or something to hold them together till they could get to the hospital. Most work being done was along the lines of the latter, hoping that by buying time they could get most of the people more proper medical treatment, assuming a chance to get somewhere was in the deck....
In any other circumstance seeing an army of werewolves would have enticed them to start firing, but after the last few days, anything was possible.

In the middle of the desert, there is a door. Through this door, there is more desert. In fact, you might think that it is the same desert on both sides. You might be right. If you were right, you might wonder why the door was there in the first place. If you weren't right, then you'd still wonder that, because you wouldn't know any better.
However, all of this would not be important if you were the door. Certainly this is proven by the case of Cecilia, who was, in fact, the door. She, however, did not find this important for an entirely different reason. She had just given birth to 4 miniature doors of varying types - two twin trapdoors, a stable door and a barn door. The invasion had begun.

"Move them back to the base!"
To make matters easier, a loud explosion followed by multiple thunder-cracks marked the clearing of the minefield in front of the main entrance, allowing for the teams to move back inside with the wounded, who received prompt attention from the better equipment inside the base. Already, men were being tasked to clean up the area: with time now, they could start rebuilding the ruined base. Already, the wrecked and other items unable to be recycled were being stacked up in one of the massive craters outside the wall, gouged out by one of the bolts of missed magic. Pieces of rent artillery, general waste and other such items lay underneath rubble heaped there. Nearby, a large row of empty ditches had been dug. It was obvious of their intent.
Inside, groaning men and those already sedated lay down, as others rushed about or got shut-eye: they knew the war was over, and were going to make the best of the lull until something else happened.

The colonel looked around for someone in charge, he knew by now the MBSA would have helicopters in portal, but he also knew that the defenses were a bitch around here. Though hopefully with that pirated signal they could bring in more medical supplies and personnel.
"Commander, we can load up choppers and bring supplies here from the main base. Would the pirate signal work and do you have a radio?"
Outside his men ignored the wounded as their goal was to keep men alive, the dead were not going anywhere. Stretchers ran back and forth bringing men back into the fort and getting them to the few actual doctors on the Mokan team were taking care of the wounded more effectively then the Soldiers bringing them in. With luck and care, some might be able to keep the damaged limbs or their eye site. For the veterans, they hadn't seen anything like this since the protoss slaughter of Mejico City. Ironically many of the cuts and slashes matched the horrors of their memories.
"We had a radio system working here but that still won't work with the temporal disturbances. Go off with the technical staff down in the bunker, and they'll see what they can do.
Now we're not in lockdown any more, we might be able to get a signal to the hub perimeter defences."
He sent a runner off for the Mokans to follow, down through the murky entrance of the bunker now housing the medical bay, the most serious being held much deeper in the proper medical bay. The medical team alloted to the base were carrying out operations on the most critical patients in the small operating/autopsy bay, the limited amount of supplies and blood turning each casualty into a rapid struggle to ration out all the available supplies. The power outages from the defunct generator had meant that many of the freezers had borken, leaving most of the blood, serum and medicines to be made inviable.
Further down in the bunker, in the central command/control room, the control panel was devoid of it's covering: a mess of optical cables, circuit boards and laser signal generators was exposed to the technicians crawling about it, while images flashed up on the screen. A large map showed that time was, very fortunately, levelling itself out: the central 'red zone' they were in was not even orange, the interfaces now gone in exchange for a gradual curve. Two men were busy fiddling about with a large cable stack next to the portal chamber, and were eventually rewarded with a massive series of sparks. There was a low hum, rising in pitch to a scream as the main base generators came back online: the entire base lit up with lights, as electricity coursed throughout the building. Another man was rewarded with deafening static as he finaly got the radio mast to work: the long range transmitter that could send signals thousands of miles.
Only one panel was left untouched: the portal monitering device as well as the Temporal Positioning System and Temporal Distress Signal Generator lay unattended to: they did not want to risk anything until time was back in joint.

The colonel followed the runner down into the bunker, looking around to see what had happened in the time it took to get here. Hell he was probably eating in a Miamus Diner when this battle had started. Out of all the places in existence what were the odds of finding allied nationals beyond that portal. Down the stairwells he went hoping that things were getting better, given the state they were in anything could be an improvement. he heard a low wine as lights began to slowly brighten, it appeared as if he base had power again.
"thank god, the power is back."
Soon enough they made it to the transmitter where he was given a chance to contact base camp one.
"Base Camp one this is Lut. Colonel Vincent Rodriguez, do you come in over"
he waited

Alehkra gave a slight grin, and muttered, "Paperwork, how barbaric." Aloud he said, "Not paperwork so much as agreements."
He lifted his hand and held up one finger. "Firstly, we want you to pay us something in return for using our lands. Whatever you may think about my race, it is undeniable that these are our lands, which you came, and started using without any negotians whatsoever. We don't want the paper my Thelar tells me you use as currency. We desire something practicle, iron, or steel, something we can use. Or even pretty baubles to please our womenfolk."
He held up a second finger. "Secondly, you are to stop testing your weapons here. I am most adamant about that. You have wiped out whole villages, filled with innocent tradesmen, farmers, their mates and pups. You are to disable all your explosives, along with anything that could harm my people. You are free to test whatever else you wish."
He held up a third finger. "Thirdly, you are to allow priests, Thelars, merchants, and any other werewolf into your base. If they cause trouble, they are fully punishable by your laws. Vice versa, if any of your people wish to join us, you are to allow them. Or, if they just wish to go to a village to shop around or something. If they cause trouble, they are punishable by our laws."
He held up a fourth finger. "And last, yet most important, you are to destroy this werewolf "cure", that you have. For you see, we don't want a cure. It is not a disease. It is the greatest gift you could imagine. My race has no narcotics use, because a Moon Rage makes any plant, or animal, or any other narcotic, pale in comparison. The meanest and most illeterate werewolf could describe it in the words of a poet, yet not even the most artistic of us could fully convey the pure ecstatic joy. If any of your men are infected, they belong to us now."
He put down his hand. "These are our demands. If you have an issue with them, I am open to discussion."
The new commander sat in thought for a moment. His second-in-command had jotted them down rapidly on a small waterproof notepad, allowing them to be kept for any future reference.
"Most of these demands are acceptable, yes. I will go through them in order for your benefit, and explain our stance on all.
With the compensation for your losses, you will be wishing for practical supplies, yes. In that case, we will provide you with the following."
The other man looked up, a questioning look in his eyes. The commander dismissed it.
"When we are able to open a portal back to our own world, we will provide you with 100 tonnes of steel in the form of 15kg ingots. This will be the compensation for your losses in battles against us. To compensate you for your losses due to our testing, attacks on your villages and release of dangerous chimeras, we will provide you with enough granite, marble and wood to rebuild the lost areas, and decontamination teams to clean up after any dangerous agents left in the areas, such as with sarin gases. This will be our payment to you.
On the second matter of disarmament. We will not be able to dispose or destroy all explosives due to the sheer quantity, and the fact they are used as our weaponry. To that end, we will agree to the removal of all explosive projectiles above 500grammes, and the removal of all silver weaponry.
In addition, we will restrict testing to four zones, all away from a zone we will dedicate to your exclusive use. We wil try to ensure that biological, chemical and radiological agents will be tested with some form of containment, and will effect a more powerful system in quarentining and destroying chimera outbreaks,
On the third matter of three passage: we will allow that as long as you do not attempt to use magic and abide to strict rules. If you do so, you will be ejected from the area forceably. We will arrange visits if you insist to testing areas, but your safety will be in your own hands.
The final matter is difficult. You know we have the starting of a cure here, yet outside this world we have many thousands of sampes of the cure, scattered across many universes. If we are to destroy them all, it will be a task that would take decades, maybe even centuries. We will destroy all readily available samples both here and at Portal Grand Central, but cannot assure you that we will destroy it any at other stations.
Is this acceptable?"

"Portals restarting soon!"
The men had cleared the gantry and corssing areas, taking cover in the control rooms as massive arcs of energy shot about the affected platform area. This was back at the central room buried deep underground in the 'Real World', where the massive generators keeping this place at a fixed anchor point outside of time itself were now having relatively miniscule amounts of energy tapped off to open up the portals affected. As each came back online with successive bursts of warm light, followed by a shimmering image of another world and the roar of coolant being forced through pipes to the areas, the control staff cheered. The network board now showed only one potentially risky one to be re-established: that of the weapons testing station. The government had been getting impatient, wanting to test out some recently delivered bunker-busting nuclear weapons. And with the massive security scare and the detection of a temporal distress flare, they had shipped in even more arms. Down below, where the paralell heavy loaded portal was being started up to send an entire airship through, the mood was tense. Suddenly, a message crackled through the radios: an artificial voice composed of what fragments of message had been picked up, all rapidly edited as they streamed through to make it understandable.
"Call off all military support to our facility: we have arranged ceasefire. Requesting large quantities of rebuilding materials, and the following."
The voice droned on for a time, all this being noted down. Below, vehicles had begun to move out: such was the location that they could pull in items from the government from almost any time period they had roots in. In their place came lorries, loading up the soldiers and supplies now coming through. The airship had been replaced as well: another had arrived, taking up most of the lower area. Even the largest of the generators would have difficulty getting the beast through.
Energy accumulated as dark energies flowed towards the massive ring of metal, cable and 'stuff' that took up most of the bottom floor. A countdown began. At 5, a blinding rift opened in the centre of the hoop: the generators were right now ripping through the very fabric of time, to reach particles upon the other side. At 0, they reached there: the blinding white light cut out across the chamber as engines roared, the vehicles diving through into an empty zone 8 kilometres from the hub fortress.
The airship groaned through, before rising upwards into the sky, a true god to those who beheld it. Below the rippling black envelope, a large structure held concelaed crate after crate of items, a total of 2000 tonnes of steel, building materials and supplies destined for the werewolves, each inside a hidden crate underneath the 900 metre-long leviathon. The rebuilding had begun.

Alehkra grinned and nodded. "That is all that I basically wanted. The steel will be most useful in wars with the, uh..." He glanced at his vampire wife. "The Empire to the North." Deserae scowled but said nothing. "I agree to all of your demands, though I'm not quite sure why you don't want magic inside of your base."
He was silent for several moments, then said hesitantly, "I've actually got a favor to ask. This won't be part of the cease fire, I'm just asking you. You see, you and the vampires weren't really the biggest problem we had on our hands. Recently, different peoples have been arriving from across the seas. Most prominently, humans and what my race calls Ezagrah, but the word you would use would probably be elf. However, the biggest problem is the humans. You see, they also have greater technology than us. Not quite to your level, but quite beyond us. Normally that wouldn't be a problem, but they arrived in greater numbers then we are able to handle at a time." He actually looked quite embarrassed. "These humans are actually quite beyond our ability. I was wondering, if you might be willing to give us military support. I'm hoping your greater technology will aid us."
The commander nodded.
"I think that, if we are supplied with what we will need, we will be able to solve your little 'problem'. We will need a cartographer to plot the course ahead, food for our men and water. Don't ask why we need so much water, but you will find out in due time.
With you saying about our testing, a little birdie informs me that we are receiving some toys to play with soon. Along with the reconstruction, re-embursing and repairing force that have just arrived."
He motioned in the far distance: a massive silver airship had appeared, a menacing craft blending in with the cloud behind it that now were moving away. The weather was strange here - following the moods of those about. Below the airship, a swarm of black vehicles were spreading towards the main base, cheers of excitment and the sound of rounds firing in the air in celebration greeting them.
"Well, one way to get rid of the silver. But, with you saying for us to destroy them: how advanced are they? And would you allow us to use the sort of power that in this world is still godlike? I am sure you know what I mean, and am just asking out of your sake for honour."
The airship was coming overhead now.
"If you can send some of your werewolves to indicate where that airship is going to be dropping off all of our compensation, that would be good. And choose a field outside a town, because I don't want it to flatten the whole lot beacuse of a mistake."

The 'toys' were coming through amongst the Engineering trucks and supplies trucks: amongst the 800 men and vehicles, a pair of missile truck trundled along, carrying sleek missiles on their backs. While they were bunker busters, they could easily be set to fire on an airburst. And with 20kT warhead, there was enough power in a single one to annihilate a city. Both missiles were painted white with black stripes upon them. Ahead of them in a command truck sat the Colonel in charge of this lot: he was busy directing orders over radios, while at the same time yelling at the driver directiosn to where this new commander was. He was of course lower in rank: each station commander in the extra-universal regions was always the equivalent to a Major-General.
He had just received word from the one-way radio link with the commander's discussion of this military attack. And he had a few words to say about it when he arrived. Still, he was already getting the men to unload the supply crates inside the fortress compound, revealing hundreds of freshly-made weapons, for equipping this 'Modern' battleforce. Silver of course had been on the menu, but this was fortunately preempitvely replaced with standard FMJ.
Back at the fortress, mobile cranes were already rebuilding and removing rubble and waste, a few concrete carriers spraying on rapid-setting patches to the damaged wall or building up a large camp of instant buildings in the area just outside the minefield. Controlled explosions alerted all to the disposal of the minefields, a minesweeper somehow appearing from somewhere to rip the minefields back to pieces.

Alehkra nodded and growled a few orders to a couple of his Pack, and turned back to the human. "They will show the thing where to land." He shaded his eyes then looked up at the plane. "I don't get how its going to understand them, but oh well." He thpught for a moment. "You know, I'm really not sure how advanced they are. I assume they are less advanced because of the fact that their of this world, but I relly don't know." Suddenly Deserae, his wife spoke up. "I keep trying to tell Alehkra that they're more advanced than you humans, but he just doesn't believe me when I tell him that concentrated light is more dangerous than your archery gun thingies." She shrugged. "Probably because he doesn't burn like hell in the sunlight." She said, with the air of one reminding someone of something. Alehkra grinned sheepishly. "Sorry, forgot about that. If you don't mind, my wife will be the first to use the free entrance thing. Sun makes her unbearably uncomfortable you see." Deserae grinned in relief, and ran towards the base. Alehkra watched her go, then said, "Would you please warn the men inside that shes a friendly? I warn you, if something happens to my wife, all deals are off."
"But, about the other humans. As my wife said, they use some sort of light weapon thing.(OOC: Or, in other words, lasers) The skirmishes we've had with them has been absolutely disastrous, and I really don't know why."
"That will make things... more difficult. You see, I reckon if they're like that, they could have the advantage in technology. Mainstream technology. We here have...erm...'unconventional' technology. Tell you what, if you give us a couple of days, we'll have about 2400 men here. Alongside some rather powerful equipment.
Now, after those two days, we will show you how humans fight. I can assure you it will be spectacular in it's own rights."
The command vehicle and two missile trucks pulled up alongside them. The Colonel stepped out and saluted.
"Colonel Tast of the special force deployment, here for duty."
"Thankyou Colonel. You are dismissed for now to aid in the reconstruction of defences, and then the massing of our forces for our next attack. And before you protest, it will be an attack testing out weapons as per our instructions. So get going."
The colonel snorted, before saluted and walking off angrily.
"Don't you mind him: he was the one wanting this position here. Never mind though. Soon we'll have collected together all the equipment we need, and will be able to go to war. Assuming of course there is anything left of them. Do they have the power of magic at all?"

The Mokan Blackhakws flew in loaded with medical supplies, on the sides were not the standard Red Stars but the MBSA logo, or lack thereof. It had taken them about half an hour to the the medical supplies through the portal then a few more to fly them into to base, and of course the moment they get their the power is back on and the Fegosian portal is back online, judging by the massive airship that was trying to land. Sooner or later they would have to figure out how they got such effective portal technology. Well, at this point it didn't seem reliable, but all would be explained in due time.
"This is Blackhawk one, where can we land over?"
Mokan Central Command, World one, formerly base camp two
After the discovery of the Green House, and the Central Command hub, a third area of this underground area had been discovered. This one was full of humanoid worriers that seemed to be impenetrable to all conventional arms. Research was done to try and find a way to get past their shields, and after many weeks of playing with advance physics, the TASBW(T'lan Anti-Shield Beam Weapon) was born, on paper at least. So far construction had lead to one Stationary device to be positioned at the gates to the T'lan housing complex. Hoping that in the event of a breakout it could hold them off long enough. Being nuclear powered it had a small nuclear reactor next to it constantly up and running.
"Sir, the T'lan stroage room has activated an alarm."
"Where at?"
"Sector 3"
"Bring them up on screen."
On screen was their worst fear realized. Six cases, all being tapered with by the scientist, had opened. One of the six layed still in his open case while the other five were missing. On camera was the alarm, flashing red to show it had been activated. Next to it the wall was covered in blood, the body no where to be found.
"Good god, set off the alarms, notify the crews in there we have a breach. Are soldiers on standby?"
"Yes why?"
"Send them in to evacuate, and man the Tasbee. Keep all cameras rolling, I want to know if those six can unlock anymore."
With that the colonel left the command room looking for those scientist with the TASBW devices.

Alehkra laughed. "Me personally? Not a drop. I can do about as much magic as you can my friend. I do however have some friends in the more powerful circle of Shamans, and my Thelar here can pull his own weight in that department." He shook his head. "So my wife was right. The light things really are more powerful." Suddenly a very large werewolf, almost the size of the Thelar, ran up, from the back of the army apperantly, because he was surprised to see Alehkra chatting with humans. Growling in his own language, he asked "Alehkra, what is this? The humans should be dead by now! The Algra are getting impatient, we were certain that we would get the order to attack after that explosion." Alehkra laughed, undisturbed by both the the werewolf's disrespect, and the fact that he was fully two feet shorter, and less muscled than the wereolf. He quickly explained the situatian, and the werewolf laughed along with him. "This is my second in command, La'zerra. Hes been there where the fighting with those other humans has been at the worst. He was one of the only ones to survive." La'zerra held out his hand to the human, grinning. "Nice to meet ya. Good to know that you chose the course of wisdom."
"Thankyou."
He shook the hand.
"I think that your little problem should be sorted soon. Now, if you don't mind, is there anything else to discuss?"
One of the missile vehicles deployed brakes, digging into the ground as the missile on its back was raised upwards towards the sky. A crew of men had suddenly appeared from the ugly armoured cabin, clustering about it as they set it up. Without GPS, they were busy setting up radio beacons for use with the main base beacon and the other missile vehicle beacon.
"Ahh, and that map. If you can't help with a precise map, at least tell us what direction they are and how far away they are. That should give us a rough area to fire at."

La'zerra pointed to the east. "Go east until you hit the coast. They've taken a few fairly large cities, as well as a couple of the vampires cities. Normally we wouldn't care, but its a thing of pride ya see, its our job to kill vampires." Alehkra laughed, and nodded. "Alright, now that that is concluded, I'm going to go tell my Lycans that we have a new target, we'll be ready to march when you are. I'll leave La'zerra behind in case you have any questions." With that he ran off towards th army.

Mokan Central Command, World one, formerly base camp two FORTY AFTER BREAKOUT
"SHHHHIIIITTTT!!!!"
round after round, 7.62 after 7.62, into these monsters, or at least towards them, bullets were hitting their damn shields and ricocheting off in all directions, the evacuation was a train wreck. So far 28 people were dead. At least 20 of the monsters were free, they lost count when the cameras couldnt keep up. They definitely could let eachother out. However the ones they let out would wait about 20 minutes before they could wake up and kill. The evacuation started organized, but now it was a mad race to the main gate. Which would close if the men manning the TASBW would want it to. Armored to the teeth the equipment they had on could withstand a 7.62 with ease, which in the event some soldier who doesn't want to die tries to shoot them to keep the gate opened would come in handy.
two scientist raced through the opened door as the laser charged, it took 4 seconds to charge then the blast was imminent. In theory it was "effective" but the only thing that they had on their side was that the beings walked.
Behind the scientist walked one of the T'lan worriers, they charged the laser, one ready to close the blast doors and activate the nuke stored in the storage unit. It charged at them. The laser fired, knocking the beast back down into a wall. There was no visual light to show the shield was broken or not. It got up, looking dazed. They charged the laser again. It recognized the laser as a threat and ran towards it, Two feet before it hit the laser fired and knocked him back. This time the laser went through the body. Leaving the corpse to hit the wall again. Only this time it disintegrated into a fine dust.
"God damn it is the are cleared yet?"

Operations Centre - Pfiffenhaven - 16/4 - 12h00 -
The small island of Pfiffenhaven, almost in the middle of the Prevanian Lagoon, was the centre of much activity. One week ago, a group of Air-Marines, arriving by airship, had forceably 'evacuated' the islands inhabitants. The building work had then started. Almost overnight, a series of minefields, barbed wire, tank traps and both SAM and AShM batteries were set up on the small atoll. In the middle, rose a windowless concrete slab, known only as the operations centre. Inside, preparations were underway ...
"Professor, the operations console is coming on line now."
"Thank you, sergeant. Are we still ready for the 'move'?"
"Yes, Professor: the capacitors are now 90% charged and the remote field distortion unit is in place."
"Good."
-----------
The other side of the wormhole, the HDS Prevannic lurked. Built in the 1980s and almost as big as the legendary Soviet Typhoon-Class SSBNs, it had recently been recovered from storage, gutted and new equipment installed.
It was to be the 'remote field distortion unit'; as the machinery at Pffiffenhaven moved one end of the wormhole to somewhere more practical, so that on the Prevannic would do the same.
Operation 'Sandbox' was soon to begin.
"We will deploy as soon as we are able to. Until then, we will begin reconnaissance of their positions, and prepare for your new campaign against them. If you need to contact us, just send a runner."
He stood up, saluted, before walking off to a vehicle parked nearby.

Green House Command Center, two hours after breakout
The breakout had been quick, deadly and highly effective, with only one operational anti-T'lan weapon it was no where near a fair fight. The blast doors had closed, the laser was destroyed. The place was silent, at least in the storage areas it was. What had happened was simple....\
"God damn Is anyone left in there?"
(static on the line)
"Fuck it, close the door."
With that, almost like magic two T'lan soldiers raced towards the laser, a shot fired into one, throwing it back, they charged for the second one. It was bearing down on them as the blast door began to close. It ran passed the blast door down the 20 yards to the gun that it crossed in a 3 seconds. It moved in to punch the laser as it fired into its shoulder, tossing him back. The warrior's arm disintegrated into the air as it got back up seamlessly. Behind him the door was closing, over halfway there when two more T'lan broke threw. The laser charged again, as the soldiers hit the emergency button. Inside the storage rooms a nuclear device had been stored in case of something like this. Once the blast doors closed the nuke would be armed. Once the emergency button was pushed there was a 5 minute window to get the hell outta dodge and turn off any electronics, saving them from the EMP.
Of course, none of that mattered if a few T'lan made it out of the blast doors. The laser crew fired off one more shot, three T'lan, then two, closed blast door and no time.
As the Two remaining T'lan warriors tore apart the laser gun and crew one managed to run off. He knew they were through, and he had five minutes to escape.
He hoped that the rest of the base would have the equipment to save themselves.
OOC2:
Assuming any of you still want to do this, what probably will happen is a nuclear bomb will go off underground, and Mokan forces call for reinforcements from anyone.

S.S. Moestave, 2:21 AM
The S.S. Moestave tore through the ravaging waves, roughly bobbing up and down, the rain slammed against the deck fiercely, the water quickly gathering like snow in a drift.
"Any reply from the Mainland!?" roared Captain Nyestepek, his voice barely audible over the wind and thunder. "No sir! Last contact was reports of some sort of anomaly! We haven't been able to establish a connection since!" bellowed the First Mate. "Keep trying!" replied the Captain.
All of a sudden, a loud boom erupted, as if the Earth had been shook, and the ship came to a sudden halt. "Captain! The engines, they're down!" announced a young sailor over the radio. "What do you mean down!? What's wrong with them?!" replied the Captain, "We don't know sir...They just stopped, we haven't found a cause!". "Well---" suddenly, in the middle of the Captain's sentence, a spine-chilling shriek was sent echoing throughout the whole ship, but this was no human shriek...
It was morning again. The sun rose over the inner mountains as sixteen men rode upon the back of an attack helicopter. All were armed with AF-07P assault rifles, and all were on a hunt. Below them, the creatures of the dark were moving into shelter as the first of the sun's rays protruded over the outer range of hills. Perfect targets below as the weapons began to roar. Flying only a few metres above the ground, the demonic creatures rapidly found themselves the targets of armour-piercing rounds. Yelling in pain as allergens simulating UV light's effects entered their flesh, they rapidly found themselves collasping. After ten minutes, the helicopter had passed the second range of hills. Ahead, a low earthern mound stretched out into the distance, curving. It was the edge of Alfegan territory, and in the last few monthes they had made sure all knew it. A fence system had been erected around the perimeter, along with extensive mine fields. The occasional missile turret lay hidden in the ground, near the surface entrances of bunker positions. Small gauss turrets were just visible form these almost-impregnable structures, constantly tracking the surrounding terrain along with a phalnax of sensors. The helicopter touched down outside one of these to allow the men to leave, and more to arrive. These posts were now manned, in an attempt to up security. Recently, they had heard rumours of others. Those who had eyes set on this asset. And the most recent arrivals were said, in hushed whispers, the only defence if a full-scale war started out. The dark patches of eternal night where the temporal storm had left permanent marks were reminders of what could be unleashed. Now a possibility.
S.S. Moestave, 2:45 AM
The shrieks were deafening, as if someone was slowly killing an entire orphanage full of infants. Static came over the ship's radio, the Captain was taken aback. "Engine Room!?", no reply, "Engine room, do you copy!?", no reply, "This is Captain Nyestepek, do you copy, engine room!?", no answer.
"Come on, we're going down to the engine room.", the captain grabbed an AN-94 assault rifle from the wall, and took the lead, followed by four other armed personnel, he slowly opened the metal door to descend into the lower decks of the ship, and cautiously entered. He took a few steps forward, and got a sudden fright as he saw a sailor's corpse dragged away by a shadowy figure. He hesitated, but continued to move forwards...

IC: Meanwhile, Alehkra, leader of most of the werewolf clans, and one of the best warriors his race had ever seen, was spinning around like a little kid in an odd chair that revolved. One of the richer merchants had given it to him as a gift, apparently gotten from trading with the nearby human settlement. It never ceased to amaze him what those humans thought of. They were completely different from the few other humans that existed mostly as slaves. Although he still refused to allow his people to have the advanced weapons, or 'vehicles', the wereolves were enjoying new prosperity as they obtained new technology, often bought for large sums of gold, which humans seemed to value greatly. He sighed as he stopped spinning. The only problem he had, as that he was now extremely bored. There hadn't been any clan wars recently, and with the recent peace treaty with the humans, there was no fighting at all. Not that I think we could win in such a war. He thought wryly. They had greatly increased their fortifications, and had gotten many more reinforcements. Of course, there were rumors of more humans, arriving elsewhere on the continent, but they were far away, and could provide no immeadieat excitement.
S.S. Moestave, 2:56 AM
A trail of thick blood lead the team to the ship's Kitchen and Mess Hall, blood covered the walls, and the entire crew that was present in the room at the time of the Ship's Engine halt, were dead, their corpses mangled and torn apart, as if they had been partly devoured by a strange, large creature. The team continued forwards, their rifles raised, walking towards the kitchen, they quietly entered, anticipating something on the other side of the door. The Captain took a step forward, and opened the door, slowly pushing it fully ajar, they stepped in, their jaws dropped at the sight of what was before them.
OOC: Nah, I plan on something else. You can be on the ship if you want, but it's up to you.
S.S. Moestave, 3:01 AM
The team looked onwards at the towering beast, blood dripping from it's mouth, it was feasting upon the corpse of the Ship Cook. It tore away the flesh relentlessly, blood and intestines pouring onto the floor. One of the team raised his rifle, and pulled the trigger, a big mistake, the bullet flew at the creature, striking it's flesh and then simply rebounding off onto the ground. The creature slowly turned, the Captain took one look at it. The creature was none other than Grendel, of the norse myth "Beowulf".
"Raaaaaghhhhhh!!!!!" the creature shrieked, the team didn't need to think, they only ran, they kept on running, tiring, through the corridors of the lower deck. One man tripped, it was the First Mate! He screamed for help. The Captain took a look back, suddenly realising if he tried to saved his First Mate, him and his team would meet a violent fate. He turned back, and kept on running, trying to close out his ears to the screams of his First Mate. There was nothing he could do. The team eventually reached the cabins, and took shelter in the Captain's quarters, the room with the best security on the entire S.S. Moestave, the room was fully sealed, with no plausible way for the beast to enter...

IC:
Overall 6 Mokan military installations had been placed in this new world, two were nearly rivaling the strength of the original fegosian station they had found, of course the rivalry could have been based on before or after the werewolf war...depending on who you asked. The main station, station one, was was still over the large underground research center discovered months ago, mountains of research was coming out of this lab, Mokan military designers had managed to build shield technology based off the Tl'an bodies, something that could transform the way the world fought for generations to come. Of course though at this point, to power such technology required massive amounts of energy. However there was a "anti-matter power station" located on base 6, known only to base six and not even the Fegosians.
how said station worked was a secret only known to the MBSA anti-matter research team. Leaving station six its own little world inside an even wierder world.
However today's problem was at station one, the entire plant went offline. Everything was lost. Last transmissions reported that the beasts had escaped. While Mokan Scientist had came up with weapons capable of fighting Tl'an in the event of an outbreak, all but two were in station one, which was the remaining 18, and the two outside the station were technically "being serviced" which meant that the brightest minds in Mokastana would get to play mechanic on a weapon no one man really understood well enough to explain.
Either way, teams were being deployed around the base to make sure that the situation was at least contained. if human forces were still in power but incapable of communicating, then reinforcements would try to help them, abet no weapon they brought would help, but hopefully give them the hope to get out and maybe get some rest....
if no human forces could be found, well Nuclear weapons may not harm the Tl'an, but burying them in a nuclear crater would be a good alternative until more weapons could be brought.
