Tersta Rebellion

Tersta

It seemed as an ordinary night in Tersta the cities were small so nothing extremely exciting ever happened. Suddenly the city hall exploded and gunfire could be heard throughout the city. It was the rebels again Tersta had been an oppressing dictatorship ever since it was founded and around a year ago a rebellion had risen and were getting more daring in their attacks. The current leader of Tersta is a cruel man who has not ever let the nation grow for fear the people would begin to rebel but it was happening anyway.

The rebellion was just getting big enough to pose a real threat and was trying its hardest to do as much damage to the government as possible, hoping that one day they could overthrow the Tersta government and begin a democracy to end the terrible oppression. Adam Jones, the leader of the rebellion, is now sending a message to all nations: "Help! Anyone can see the that Tersta government is corrupt! That man, Mason Neely, is in charge and is now running what could be a great nation into the ground! Come aid the rebellion as we cannot fight this battle alone! The oppression has to stop."

Mason is completely aware of this message and bombed the location where it was transmitted but the rebels were long gone. Now he continues his hunt to destroy the rebellion and stop any opposition to his rule. So far 57 suspected rebels have been shot and they will kill any others that make Mason think in any way that they are rebels. Twenty of the fifty seven people were shot due to speaking out in public, one because he was simply complaining about taxes.

Tersta has taken what rights the people had and are now not allowed to leave cities without government documents to exit your house you have to put on a vest that tracks your movement at all times and there are cameras throughout the city to make sure no one outside doesn’t have a vest on and 17 have been killed because of this. The rebellion army is out there and poised to strike but they need help from any nation that will give it.

Presidential Meeting Room
"Damn... this world is a fuckin' hell hole. What the hell is wrong? Another civil war, another government abusing its power over its people." President Wilson murmered, reading over the reports. "We don't have much to spare. However, we must at least offer humanitarian aid to the people, and military aid to the rebels."

With that, orders were put out to begin preparing humanitarian aid to send to the countries civilians, while military equipment was to also be prepared to ship to the rebels. It would likely be a week, however, due to the current situation Vitolia was involved in already.

A sealed envelope was slipped under the Minister of Foreign Affairs' door. He saw the envelope and got up from behind his desk to go retrieve it. He opened his door and looked out both ways, and saw no one. Just an empty long carpeted hallway.

He stepped back into his office and closed the door. He ripped open the envelope and read the message.

After he finished reading it, a phone call was made to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Then from there, another call was made to the Chancellor. And then one last call was made to the 44th Air Assault Division, 5th Royal Army. The men had been alerted for immediate deployment.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs sent off this telegram to tersta,

To the Nation of Tersta,

The Colonial Empire of The Royal Code will openly commit a division of troops to assist the Rebellion, effective to deploy immediately. We await your response.

To Adam Jones,

We wish to aid you and make you nation have a chance at a good life. We will send 700,000 men to come and aid the rebels, we will also supply food and weapons to the rebels, but to do that we must know the amount of rebels and if you have any other contracters.

The rebellions response came in scratchy and short for they had little equipment and time. "We are grateful for anything you can send us as for the troops we will contact you when we learn they are in the country."

Aboard hundreds of aircraft, the 44th Air Assault made a short flight to Tersta, and began the drop. 40,000 men hit the dirt, of which 19,000 combat troops.

The 1st Royal Army Air Corps had launched a major campaign against the standing Tersta government. Long range fighter bombers took off by the dozens and began to strike air bases and other military installations from afar with long range cruise missiles.

On the ground, the 44th had no idea which way to go to find the democratic rebels. For now, lost in the sauce.
