The speaker is Tyrone. Last name, you might ask? He doesn't have one. He is known simply as "Tyrone." He is from the Office of Official Smack Talkers, and he is what is commonly known in Rome as "Africanus Latinus," a Latin African. Meanwhile, 5 squadrons of B-52s (215 total), escorted by 300 F-35s, fly over Alversian airspace, over the capital. Being less than a thousand miles to the north, the journey shouldn't really have taken long. When the first 2 squadrons enter the city, along with the protective fighters, the bombers spread out all over the city, and release their load: 5 tons (each) of horse semen. The clearish, sticky substance falls and splatters all over the streets of the city, making it all icky. Who knows? Perhaps if there are people outside, they might become drenched in the stuff? One bomber releases the load directly over the capital building, in which hopefully the Alversian president will be conducting business.

2 other squadrons also spread out across the city, and release their load next: 5 tons (each) of horse manure. The brown, stinky substance splatters across the buildings and cars and trucks and so forth. Hopefully, no one is outside.

The last squadron does the same, dropping a ton (each) of giant photographs depicting the Alversian President and his wife (or husband) naked (granted, the photographs are clearly photoshopped).

After dropping their payload, the fighters and bombers turn around and fly back (Assuming they are not intercepted).

Far from it, having been attacked prior to this before, the capital boasted dozens of SAM sites and, following the violation of Alversian Airspace, they fired at will at the slow moving B-52's.

Almost immediately 300,000 men recieved the call from HQ that they were to assemble with their regiments and join the 120,000 troops already manning the defensive positions around the coastline.

Meanwhile, the 1,000 Nakil A2 MBT's of the 1st Armoured Regiment moved up to Stockholm to defend the capital while the elite Paratroops moved to coastal plains to watch for the enemy.

So the Alversian Army continued to mobilise, the Navy began to patrol the coasts and sleek new Eurofighters began CAP's up and down the borders of Alversia. But there was no declaration of war and no aggresive action. Although a warning was sent to the Romans

On the runways, over 3000 Thunderbolt aircraft had lined up on the runways and taxi ways. Their orders were to fly up to a sub-orbit location and coast towards the Alversian homeland, in which they would engauge any enemy naval vessels that approach the territorial boundries of Alversia. They would be in position in T-Minus 31 hours, cruising through the upper atmosphere for almost 29 hours of the flight.

I'm basing my numbers on this map. (http://www.edinphoto.org.uk/1_MAP/1_map_europe_2001_enlarged.htm) I figure if a ship can move at a constant rate of 40 miles per hour, and there are approximately 2400 miles to cover....it should take 60 hours to get there. Divide that by 24. For the record, they are going from Sardinia.

In fact, they rushed onto the beaches and began to herd the Homosexuals off, taking the LCAC drivers as POWs. All the Homosexuals were checked for weapons before being granted asylum in Alversia, they had clearly been abandoned by their own people.

Meanwhile, slightly further out to sea, a black shape moved under the water's surface. In fact, several black shapes droned forward silently and slowly. They had their targets set and now only awaited the order. It was soon given and four torpedoes headed for the side of the nearest battleship. The Titan (OOC: BTW, you know SS is not a Military prefix, don't you?)

Above the surface, Eurofighters armed with deep penetration bombs began to dive on the battleships, targeting their bridges and batteries as primary weapons. These planes were from the 8th Coastal Squadron and they were shipsinking experts.

Everyone now becomes very, very serious (except the homos...who continue dancing gaily, even though they are being pushed away. Several of them try to grab the asses of the officers herding them away).

Hundreds of Roman submarines rise up to form a semi circle around the 8 attacking subs, and fire their own torpedos, in such a manner such as to create so wide an area of possible hits that it is unlikely that the subs will be able to evade. Meanwhile, thousands of surface to air missiles are fired from the multitude of armed ships in a barrage towards the on-coming aircraft. The chance of them (the aircraft) escaping, much less being successful, are slim.

Meanwhile, dozens of Agusta Mangusta helicopters rise into the air, and move towards the 500 or so officers. One of them speaks through a loudspeaker: "No offense, man...but we'll be needing them LCACs back. You can keep the fags."

That said, allowing major damage to occur (short of sinking) is generous on my part. There are hundreds of subs in my fleet, surely at least one of them would have detected yours.

SCENE: Flight Group Epsilon
The pilot of the lead Thunderbolt looked about the latest information that has come across the wire. Battles had broken out across the boards and he decided that it was time to hit the afterburners. With a flick of a switch, he sent a message to the rest of the flight group and within a minute, they all hit their afterburners to cut the time of the flight in half. They checked their guns and missile pods and began their long decent through the atmosphere towards the naval vessels of Gens Romae. The missile pods were prepped for the first launch.

With satelite precision missiles built into the Thunderbolts, they would strike whatever target that the pilots wanted them to.

None of the Eurofighters returned from their suicide mission, they had been there to distract the fleet while the subs launched their own attack. Each with a skeleton crew had managed to score three hits on the flank of one battleship at the lost of all ships. However, the battleships had yet to hit the Alversian minefields and now they were going to get a surprise.

Meanwhile the helicopters did not inflict much damage on the Company. Despite their best efforts to protect them, there were too many Homosexuals in relation to Soldiers and they feel by the dozen. The time had also allowed APA to target the fleets with cruise missiles and now dozens of them started to rain down on the fleet.

The budget is calculated in the currency of the nation in question. Scroll to where it says "1 Denarius = 1.6 US dollars" and also scroll to where for you it says "2 point whatever your currency is = 1 US dollars." So yes, I have a budget of 4+ Trillion Denarii. But each Denarius is worth 1.6 US dollars. So multiply 4+ trillion by 1.6.

Several of the minor ships, as well as one or more of the battleships are sunk by the wave of cruise ships. However, the rest are handily averted by the anti missile weaponry on the said ships. The rest of the Navy begins to turn around and sail back towards Italy, firing their many weapons back on the homosexuals and soldiers...leaving behind the LCAC and the LCAC captains (Who were homosexuals also anyway), probably killing them all? The Augustas return back to the Amphibious Assault Ships.

Yet...this would not go forgotten. The Imperator receives word of this most hostile reception and decides to pay back Alversia for the most recent cruise missile attacks. Calling one of the military officers, he calls for his own cruise missile attack.

Moments later, such a number of conventional cruise missiles from the Italian mainland are sent to the Alversian mainland, and fall en mass into every major city thereof, in such a manner so that the cruise missiles are staggered (so that they don't fall in one place, but rather strike the cities more or less evenly). At least 4 or 5 cruise missiles were aimed at the Alversian Capital Building. If it hits, shit explodes.

All the sudden on long distance radar from the Gens Romae fleet, hundreds of aircraft, no, make that thousands, appeared on their scope. Suddenly hundreds of thousands of blips appeared as the Thunderbolts fired a barrage of missiles at the fleet, they then banked hard to the sides and hit their afternurners, picking up speed near Mach 12 skimming the water and spraying water up off of the water. After three kilometers, they banked upwards and headed back towards the sky.

Everyone on the deck of the S.S. Titania (Titan's sister ship <_<) are thrown off their feet. They had sustained moderate damage from a sub attack. Everyone now becomes very, very serious (except the homos...who continue dancing gaily, even though they are being pushed away. Several of them try to grab the asses of the officers herding them away).

Hundreds of Roman submarines rise up to form a semi circle around the 8 attacking subs, and fire their own torpedos, in such a manner such as to create so wide an area of possible hits that it is unlikely that the subs will be able to evade. Meanwhile, thousands of surface to air missiles are fired from the multitude of armed ships in a barrage towards the on-coming aircraft. The chance of them (the aircraft) escaping, much less being successful, are slim.
Meanwhile, dozens of Agusta Mangusta helicopters rise into the air, and move towards the 500 or so officers. One of them speaks through a loudspeaker: "No offense, man...but we'll be needing them LCACs back. You can keep the fags."


I have a severe problem with the bolded part. Gens Romae, do you know anything about submarine warfare?

Problems:

1 - Hundreds of submarines sailing so close to each other (I am assuming they are all in the same battle-group) would interfere with each others sonar, thus the submarines would not be able to work as effectively. The best you can do is maybe group four or five together while maintaining several miles distance between them so that they may work effectively.

2 - Submarines surfacing in a circle and firing their torpedoes.... I'm not even going to touch that one.
