Designated Press Area Outside of the Palace of Freedom The Senate, New Theeb, Vetaka:
The City of New Theeb stood tall on its cliff face setting looking out across the Dominion the majestic city stood at the foot of the Rogers Mountain and played host to the trully inspiring Roxanne Waterfalls that signalled the proud end of the Innocence River that flowed down from the Rogers Mountains the city itself was its usual hustle and bustle as the populace went about their daily lives, Chief Executives sat in offices on the top floors of Headquarters of many of Vetaka's buisnesses by all accounts it was a typical day in the Vetakan Capital. However today would be far from normal it would go down as the day the Vetakan Dominion rejoined the Questarian Commonwealth.
The Bill detailing the Proposal was to be voted on it the Senate was packed with Vetakan Democractically elected Senators, even Tribal Chief Quicksilver of the White Phoenix had taken his seat. President Daniel Pearce whom had brought the bill to the Senate sat his Dispatch box waiting for it to begin.
Outside the Press all rumbled together giving live News Reports to their respective Channels most notably the beautiful Kelly Brooks of Vetaka Today was about to go live across Vetaka and across the world her cameraman counted her down 3...2...1...... Live
"Good Morning Ladies and Gentleman you join us live from the The Palace of Freedom press zone we are live outside of the Vetakan Senate where in around 4-5 minutes time the Vetakan Senate and Tribal Chieftain Quicksilver will vote on Bill 987 on whether our nation should rejoin the Questarian Commonwealth an Alliance Vetaka left 9 Years ago following what then President Roxanne Victoria Wright called Alliance failings. I am Kelly Brooks your watching Vetaka Today News and we will be back as soon as the Vote Starts taking you live into the Senate Chamber, Please don't go away"
With that the feed died and redirected to the Studio whereby the continued to fill time until the Senate started.
Senate Chamber, The Palace of Freedom, New Theeb, Vetaka:
The Chamber was filled with suited men and women chattering away all eagerly awaiting the vote to begin the only person quiet was an elderly gentleman not in a suit but in pure white robes he was of course Tribal Chieftain Quicksilver of the White Phoenix he mearly gazed around the room eventually a few minutes past before a gentleman in black robes and a white wig stood with this the Chamber fell silent:
"You the democratically elected body of the Free Dominion of Vetaka gather here today to vote upon Bill 987 entitled Vetakan Membership of the Questarian Commonwealth presented to you by elected President Daniel Gary Pearce. You know the rules Ladies, Gentleman keep it clean. President Pearce you have the floor, For Vetaka!! For the Dominion!!! For Freedom!!!"
With that the Chamber burst into a mixture of applause and boos mainly applause mind as President Pearce stood at his dispatch box a few seconds later and after some heated exchanges across the Chamber it fell silent once again:
"Thank You Speaker of the House. Senators rejoining the Questarian Commonwealth is quite simply the right course to take for the Vetakan Dominion. It is nessary for the continued development of the Vetakan Nation and People. The Strategic Defence of this nation in this region and around the world depends not just on the Vetakan Military but on well founded and well forged Allainces and Nations around the world. With this in mind and with the majority of our Allies either being single entity nations, within the United Federation or the Questarian Commonwealth a such does it not make International Sense to rejoin the Commonwealth?"
Pearce sat back down and the Chamber again burst into chaos of Booing and Cheers from around the Room. Pearce gazed around as the Speaker of the House fought to regain control of the rabble of suppesdly Senators. Pearce looked up at the second level and met the eye of the Tribal Chieftain they both nodded in some sort of psyhic way as if they where communicating. A few seconds past before Official Leader of the Opposition Nationalist Party Leader Micheal Parker stood:
"The Nationalists have continued to call for further funding and further power to the Armed Forces of this nation. The Strategic Defence of the Vetakan Dominion lies with the Offensive Projectional Power of the Vetakan Defence Forces and not with the Vetakan Tongue in the arse of the Wagdogians, The United Federation and the Questarian Monarchy. This nations Military is a shadow of its possible glory and the blame for that lies at the door of our President."
Again the room burst into a chaos of mostly booing and the odd bit of scattered applause. Eventually after regaining control the Speaker of the House spoke:
"Senators of the House, we have debated this issue and you have heard the conclusionary speeches now we must vote. As usual, using the the measures we all know cast your votes."
With that the various senators began pressing buttons at their various dispatch boxes across the room a period of 5 minutes past before the Speaker of the House rose from his chair with a sealed file in his hand breaking it open he read it and spoke:
"Senators the vote is as follows 300-125 in favour of Vetakan Membership of the Questarian Commonwealth. As such the bill will be enacted into the Consitution as soon as possible. Senate Adjourned For Vetaka!! For the Dominion!!! For Freedom!!!"
The Chamber burst into activity as Senators began to chat and file out of the room, the world had just witnessed Vetakan Democracy in action.

Kelly Brooks Political Editor of Vetaka Today News smiled sweetly somewhat humbled she had secretly hoped Vetaka would rejoin the Commonwealth as it would mean she could see her friends in Questers so much easier now. With the feed now redirecting to her she smiled as she went live and spoke:
"Ladies and Gentleman their you have it the Vetakan Senate has voted by Majority to rejoin the Questarian Commonwealth after so many years apart. If you have just joined us welcome, The Vetakan Senate has voted by 300-125 in favour of Vetakan Membership of the Questarian Commonwealth as such as set out by the intial bill the nation shall be a full member of the Commonwealth within a period of 4 weeks. We now cross live to the studio where we will get more reaction to this historic move....."

As head of the Vetakan Nation it is my duty and honour to announce to the world that at precisesly 12:13 the Vetakan Senate voted by 300-100 votes in favour of the Vetakan Dominion rejoining the Questarian Commonwealth as such at precisesly 00:00 tomorrow morning this nation will acsend to the Commonwealth of Questers assuming all responsbilities and abiding by all rules stated by the Commonwealth.
Our Allies and Friends around the world should be clear that this move does not mean Vetaka intends to break any of its commitments. All obligations set down by this Vetakan Government and previous Vetakan Governments shall be honoured by the highest powers.
