He does not support immediate immigration into the country, but hopes to open the borders with in 10 years. "Welcome to the presidential debate. We will have a series of questions from the moderator and around the country and world. Each candidate will have 90 seconds to respond. Our first question is on the topic of immigration, President Anderson, assume we open the borders who would you allow in?"

"Immigration of legal citizens is a touchy topic right now. But I don't think we are ready to open to everyone and/or everything. We have a strong and faithful population but were are in a world that still doesn't understand what this faith is all about. We don't need anti-propaganda being filtered. For now we'll let a few in."

"Time."

"Judge Kent?"

"Well I agree to some extent with my co-candidate here, but at the same time, I think the people are faithful enough to know the truth."

"Mrs. Per?"

"I think it's time to open and be open to the world. We can't stop wickedness, even with in our own borders among our own people. Doesn't mean we can't be an example. I think the more open, the more people will learn about us, and the better our economy will be, and the better off we'll be."

"Moving onto next topic, automobiles. Ms. Per, let's start with you."

"I think with out cars we are going nowhere. I don't think Global Warming is real, but pollution is very real. I do admit to having voting in favor of the baning but I did it in a feverish pitch. Now I partially regret that, but that's okay. I think it's time to start importing Hybrids."

"Time. Mr. Kent?"

"Global Warming is a real threat, and we need to end carbon emission now! But we have no idea if these hybrids work, they are too expensive and too new to import in mass production or at all."

"President Anderson?"

"I feel the same about auto's, we need to wait."

"Okay now we move onto to Death Penalty President Anderson what is your opinion on this?"

"I support the Law of Capital Punishment as it is currently, I don't think we need to ban it, or revise it."

"Judge Kent?"

"I oppose the Death Penalty, I believe it is not in the interest of our state and does not support the ideals of human life."

"Ms. Per?"

"I support Capital Punishment in haneous and barbaric acts of nature. There are some criminals that are simply to dangerous to be left alive. But again these are for very serious crimes, not for silly things like immodesty, or cursing. We aren't in the dark ages and we never have been, and we shouldn't go now."

"Turning over to Infrastructure, Ms. Per let's start with you?"

"Our infrastructure needs work. Too many are with out electricity and some are even with out the other basic utilities."

"Mr. Kent?"

"I agree with Ms. Per but I don't think it's just the small towns and rural farmers. I think it's the inner city that needs work. Our schools are falling apart, we are falling behind in our materials, and our roads are becoming impassable in time of heavy rain."

"Time. President Anderson?"

"If elected I will continue my plan of infrastructure development, and that is we wait and build up the treasury and then spend."

Will Per Become the First Woman President?

The polls are a buzz, the votes are being counted, and the candidates are playing hard ball. Each vote has been appearing to drawing the nation closer and closer to the first Woman President in the History of the state.

"Tradition dictates the woman stays home," Per said "And I respect that, but I do feel it should be up to them. I want to continue to improve the status of life in this country for both genders."

Per has been a favorite among many male and female candidates. "She proves women can still be there for their famlies and be in a position like that," said Alice Warthal a resident who has been spreading Per's message.

"I think it's great she has the boldness to run for this office," Said Andy McNight.

Church officals have said they will stand by Per if she gets elected and will give full support.

"Mary-Kathrin Per is a fine daughter of God," Said Church President "We may not agree with all her positions but we will ask for her to be blessed in this."

The Theocracy will conclude voting on Friday.
