Dear esteemed colleagues of the International Community,

From the ashes of Purestrain Revolt, the Confederate States of Rafaellun and Skraelic Islands rises. Although we are diminutive in stature when compared to the older, mightier nations that surround us, our hearts are large and our intentions fair, and we emerge into the international theatre with a welcoming stance. Although we have no relations or allies, we remain stoically committed to improving this situation. We cannot hope to survive alone in this tumultous world, and we hope to provide mutual benefit to all who accept our plight.

It is on this note that I, Chancellor Alexie Benning of the Confederacy of Rafaellun, officially open our nation's borders, and invite all who are interested to Congress to discuss matters of state. We will be happy to exchange embassies, in order to further cement good faith and positive relations between our nations.

And so my friends, it is with great enthusiasm that I broadcast this message and await your replies.

The Free Republic wishes to extend the hand of friendship with your nation. As a fellow democracy, we feel that it is important for the will of the people to be expressed. We feel that it shines forth in the muck of dictatorship like a beacon in the darkness.

We would like to exchange embassies (OOC: http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=543926 ) with your nation, and ask if perhaps one or the other of us could visit the other's nation; in order to hold diplomatic discussions, and to better understand one another.
