Holy Empire of Mon Kye En hereby bans "Copy Protection" and "Digital rights management" for non-security and non-military applications.

Copy Protection and Digital rights management is defined as any of the following but is not limited to the following:
Required use of dongles
Required use of Registration keys
Required use of Name & Serial Number
Required use of Keyfile
Required use of Phone/Internet activation
Use of Bus encryption
Use of Code morphing
Use of Code obfuscation
Use of Software Blacklisting
Use of "RipGuard" like systems
Use of "Cactus Data Shield" like systems
Use of "Analog Copy Prevention" like systems
Use of "Regional Code" like systems
Use of "Content Scramble System"
Use of "Software that installs without authorization"
Use of "Software that installs without notification"
Use of "Copy Protection Awareness" Systems
Use of "User operation prohibition"
Use of "SafeDisc" like Systems
Use of "Extended Copy Protection" like systems

Any product not available for distribution within The Holy Empire of Mon Kye En with adherence to this new law shall find itself not under protection of copy right law of any kind for the purposes of distribution within the Holy Empire of Mon Kye En.

OoC: Note that my nation has a huge, highly efficient and totally illegal (black market) information technology industry... so there is no real change at all within the nation.
