I've created an OOC thread as requested.

Someone told me how to embed a link, so I had to try it out. The woman is Jacqueline Pierce as Servalan, one of the most competent villains to ever grace the BBC. She actually won about half the time, and even with a loss walked away with enough to count it as a success.
I was wondering, though-are Selene and Eldar in the Yellow Springs sending out messages or aboard ship with Joshua and Muritan? I really should start keeping notes or something...

I was pretty sure they were in yellow springs.

I won't be on for a while, I'm going to be busy for the next day or so and in a few minutes I have to head to my grandma's house. She had surgery on her foot and apparently I'm the only one who is willing to go help her. See y'all soon!

Orbath, ever think of tossing together an "Elemental Elf" factbook? I'm wondering if they're different species or merely different philosophies, like the Muri Orders.

That's actually not a a bad idea, I think I'll do that. As for your question, they originated as the same species but through magic and evolution have become different.

Can they still interbreed? In which case, they're still the same species, just different magics.

They can interbreed with different results. Sometimes it will negate both types of magic, other times they will only get one side, other times they will have a weakened level of one or both sides. On a rare occasion, the person will be perfectly strong in both types. It all depends on the father and mother's magical strength and on the type of magic. Opposites will almost never work together such as Fire and Water or Light and Dark. Earth is neutral. The varying results is why species don't interbreed in most occasions.

So they've evolved into different species, but they're still so closely related that children are not out of the question. I guess the evolutionary split couldn't have been more than a couple thousand years ago then at most.

Is Muritan coming along with Joshua in human or troll form?

On a last note, I'll pass on the message to her. She's feeling well enough to walk around and get things for herself now, but it wouldn't surprise me if she needed some more help every once in a while until she gets the cast off.

Please give her my well wishes also. Its good that she can be mobile.

Muritan will mostly be in troll form, but adopt a human appearing shell if he needs anonymity for any purpose. Although it was tempting to lean over the prow of the ship and yell at a passerby "OI! YU! YEH, YU!"

Sorry I've taken so long to reply, I've been REALLY busy lately.

Not to worry-we all get RL issues now and again. I'm reading Orbath's soldiers throwing rocks at Muritan and keep mentally flashing to Lynda Carter deflecting machine gun fire in the Wonder Woman pilot-but I'm spending too much time in interviews trying to make a good impression these days, and some of my posting is rather more amusing than I intend because my brain's off. I was actually going to apologize for not immediately responding myself, because I'm having the RL thing interfere with my posting.

I've got some RL things too, man we've all got problems. I'm also active in quite a few threads on here, so I try too divide my attention. As for the posts, the rock catching is quite amusing, but I like that so keep it up.

Just a note, I'm headed to my dad's this weekend and I'll be too busy to post. I can tell you that right now. See you sunday night!

I got a TG from Ordo saying his computer is in the shop so he won't be posting for a bit.

Sorry I haven't posted. I was the one to jump start this and then I vanished! I had a lot of RL stuff going on, namely working to get ready for Choral Contests (which is tomorrow).
