Earlier today super heavy battle tanks under the command of general Alexander Keyes were seen crossing the border of a neighboring country in pursuit of The Rising Tide, a rebel group which has caused the first large scale conflict seen in Logan and Ky since ancient times. Reports are still coming in, but so far the troops have been encountering stiff resistance from the rebels without the usual large number of casualties, mainly because the rebels are poorly equipped and have little if any heavy equipment. Also there have been reports of large civilian casualties, and it is still to be seen how our neighbor will react.

OOC: rp that youre the neighboring country, the rebel group, outside interest, etc. (if you rp as the rebel group you have to use their stats)

ooc: Well first of all the rebels have 100,000-150,000 troops. Their weapons are largely XM8 assault rifles and RPG's that were stolen during a raid on a shipment to Tyrins (Logan and Ky's largest city). They also use other weapons purchased on the black market and are capable of producing large amounts of explosives. They are a group of anarchists and extreme leftists that dont have any real leader, and because of this they suffer from disorganization. However they make up for this by their formation of small squads of soldiers who are extremely effective at insurgency and ambush, more than larger formations would. They revolted because the government is dominated by the arms manafacturing industry and its leader, Dimitry Hilikov. Hilikov was forcing the government to become increasingly militant and conservative, which sparked the group of extremists into action.

The Government of United Federation of Military Command would like to add your nation in restoring order to your nation. We are willing to send military forces to help your National Government as soon as your willing to accept our offer.

This is the make up and the ground and aircrafts that we use as well as systems in our military equipment.

We would like to know what your going to require? We could send a corps of 45,000 troops with 5,000 tanks, 7,500 IFVs, 8,500 APCs, 5,000 SPAs, 2,500 MLRS, 15,000 5-Ton Trucks and 10,000 S-15 Legionnaire HMMWVs. For Aviation Unit for the Corps is as follows 150 AH-17 Predator, 400 UH-65 Rogue and 750 UH-48 Highwind for the current load out.

That is just for the Corps that does not speak of the Federation's Special Forces that we are going to be sending. We would send the 1st Federation Special Forces Battalion with 45 S-15 Legionnaire HMMWVs, 30 Elusion Class Vehicle, 10 AH-23 Black Panther and 10 UH-65 Rogue for the Special Forces.

We could also send a wing of our F-90 Guardian Angel Aircraft, a wing of F-99 (Wolverine) Air Superiority Fighters, a wing of A-7 Wraith Attack Aircraft, a squadron of B-54 Night Falcon Bombers and two wings C-57 Galaxy Lifter Transport Aircraft to help move troops and equipment around.

ooc: Yes indeed my nation is by the sea. Logan and Ky is located in the far north, with its western border being in contact with the ocean. Its sort of like if you smashed together scandinivia and part of Russia into one country.

Dyelli Beybi wishes to let it be known that Dyelli Beybian companies including the majority state owned Socialist Small Arms, is willing to supply reasonanly priced weapons to any person willing to pay. We are of course particularly interested in any natural resources which may or may not be found in rebel occupied Logan and Ky.

IC: *Top Secret Message to Dyelli Beybi from TRT- Eyes Only*
Lets be simple about this, we need guns and we need them cheap. Ship the weapons across land to the city Harakie in eastern Logan and Ky. Make sure to wave a green and black striped banner, otherwise we shoot. You will be paid on the spot in cash. As for natural resources you arent gonna find much, the few areas which we control are consumed by constant warfare.

We will begin to airlift our forces to your nation and should have most of our infantry units and equipment within the next 72 hours (NS time so in 1 hour in RL) It will take use a little more time to load our Beast MBT should be here in the next week.

We have our Special Forces Battalion should be landing in the next hour.

We will also be sending a fleet to help your navy it will have Marines to guard your only controlled naval port right now.

At sea outside of Lennonton
The battlegroup of 4 Nimitz class aircraft carriers, 10 sovremenny class destroyers, and 1 Argentine class Galleon closed in around the large city. Their mission was simple, they would completely block off the city from supplys, this would prevent the rebels from getting reinforcements our further weapon shipments. This also would block off food shipments, but the admiral did not want to wait the weeks and months it would take their suppy to run out. They would bomb the rebels into submission, plain and simple. The Argentine class would only be used as a last resort. This ship was quite a site, its huge number of massive guns triggered fear in any enemy. Designated as a Superdreadnought killer, despite it being a superdreadnought itself, this ship alone cost as much as the rest of Logan and Ky's navy combined (ooc:thats a slight exxageration). If worst came to worst, the ship would simply level the city by shelling.

"I can see the city!" yelled a deck hand on the leading destroyer.

This snapped Admiral Casby out of his daze and into full alert.
"Get into formation!" yelled the Admiral over his radio.

The ships then began spreading out into calculated positions around the city. Everything was covered, every ship was placed so that it could be backed up by at least 2 other ships. The destroyers were up front, the aircraft carriers just behind that, and the Superdreadnought in back. The admiral then broadcast a message...

"Surrender at once, you are outnumbered, outgunned, and outmanned! I repeat, surrender at once, or you will face the consequences"

The transmission was met with several seconds of silence; and then a deafening roar met the ears of the crew on deck the ships. They all turned their eyes in astonishment to the destroyer on the far left flank. There had been a huge explosion, evidently from the inside of the ship, that tore the battleships thick hull into pieces. The whole ship was going down in a torrent of fire. However, the rest of the fleet didnt have time to stare, as the shore had become lit up with M2 fire. 2 soldiers were hit and killed, and the rest scrambled for cover.

"Godammit what are you doing?!" Screamed the Admiral over his radio, "Open fire on those bastards!"

At this command the destroyers opened fire with all guns, showering the coastline with death and destruction. This effort wasnt deemed enough, however, as some M2's and mortars were still firing. On command, a torrent of short range ballistic missiles located off shore was unleashed upon the remaining enemy positions. Ironically enough these missiles were originally intended to defend the city of Lenonton, but now they were destroying it. They were packed with enough high explosives to take out all enemy positions on the coast, and they did just that. When the dust settled, landing craft began approaching the shore. The soldiers inside were apprehensive, having no idea what they would face once they landed.

The casualties of the battle were as follows:
1 Sovremenny class Destroyer sunk by means of sabotage
103 Killed (most were on the destroyer)
127 wounded

Enemy casualties:
350-600 Killed (exact numbers are unknown)
500-1000 wounded

ooc: military command, its the rebels that only control one port, and im currently rp'ing its destruction. While we only have one that is safe from rebel attacks, New Hilingrad, there is no possible way you could have known that, unless you can read minds.

Encoded Response

Dyelli Beybi is able to supply a large amount of Dyellian made SSA1801 assault rifles as well as Kornet-E anti-tank missiles. Both of these are currently out of service with the Dyellian military, although should still prove useful in your conflict. We are able to make the delivery however we will require to be paid in a neutral currency.

We propose at the moment to deliver;

100,000 SSA1801 rifles - Kr 8,300,000 ($US 99,600,000) this is approximately 1/3 of the usual price of the weapon.

500 Kornet-E missiles with 100 launch systems, Kr 208,000 ($US 2,496,000)

On top of this we will gift 300,000 SSA1801 clips and 300,000,000 rounds of 8.01mm ammunition.

This is indeed acceptable, the missiles especially interest us as we have until now been somewhat uncapable of destroying enemy armour. If only our budget allowed us to buy more... anyways please deliver as quickly as possible, we've just recieved word that Lenonton is under attack.

We need to know what military airfield our aircrafts to land and unload our forces and we need to know where there is some open land that we could set up our own military command center and corps headquarters at, so we don't have to interfere with your own command centers. We are going to also need to have a military liaison team assigned to our corps headquarters and to our other different command centers for our divisions and smaller units. This team should have a Colonel in command and then the rest from the team would be up to your Defense Department. The General in command of this First Federation Expeditionary Force is General John Fitzpatrick Patton of the Federation Army.

Have your planes land at the airfield outside Tyrins (Logan and Ky's largest and capital city, it is set in to the side of a mountain range deep inland). It is a hastily constructed facility, made for the purposes of the war, but it's as close as you can get to the front without being in serious danger of anti-aircraft fire. As for open land we've paid several farmer to use theirs, as Logan and Ky is covered by forests of massive pine trees.

ooc: just to clarify the rebels hold small areas of land in the far east of my country and the coastal city of lenonton which is in the southwest. They also have bases in the mountains which I spoke of earlier in this post. Also they frequently launch insurgent attacks on other major cities (besides New Hilingrad, which is heavily protected and has the most seemingly loyal citizens of any city in Logan and Ky, mainly due to propaganda and the large military presence there.

The Dyellians weren't exactly certain what would be a sensible way to move the shipment of weapons, having only the sketchiest of information on Logan and Ky. However, time waited for no man, so eventually they decided to fly it in with a pair of low altitude cargo transports (that would hopefully fly under radar) along with a few opperators...

This was no easy feat, especially since both the planes required refueling twice on the way. Eventually, assuming nobody tried to intercept, it did arrive some kilometres East of the meeting point. Parachutes blossomed in the darkness as the shipment arrived along with five Dyellians and an aluminium truck.

We have 4 air craft carriers 30nm's out.
We are sending them your way right now there ETA is 22 hours. On board one of these carriers (HMS Passion) there is an elite special forces unit trained in landings.
They are specialy trained in landings. On board the other three carriers we have 10 F15 fighter jets (Total: 30) equipped with the latest A2G armaments.
We will be able to launch these in aprox 21 hours from this time.
We also have one frigate in the area (only 10 hours out) that is armed with high speed cruise missiles, they should be with in range in just over 4 hours.

One of the men stands up and begins to speak
Gentlemen, today at approx 0500 local time the nation of Logan And Ky reported that a conflict had broken out. We offered assitance because we have 4 carriers in the vincinty of Logan And Ky. We are going to assist with the besiege of Lenonton. We will move the 4 carriers to 5nm from the coast. From this location they show launch percsion strikes on key targets. This is all, we will reconven when we have more info.

Dyelli Beybi:
"Greetings," said a tall, light haired man whose face was partially covered by a mask. "Our men will unload the shipment, just give us a few minutes and you can be on your way."

The man then said, in a darker tone of voice, "and here is your payment."

He then, in classic style, popped open a briefcase full to the brim with stacks upon stacks of money. As a final cliche, he said "Count it, its all there" and then proceeded to back into the darkness... before tripping over a rock and cursing loudly.

Sterotops:
Your ships couldnt be coming at a better time, we have just begun the siege of Lenonton. Unfortunately for us the rebels were somewhat prepared, they attacked immediately upon our arrival. Their initial attack killed 2 of our soldiers and wounded several others with M2 and mortar fire, but we easily wiped out these attackers, and the area directly on the coast is now little more than smoldering ruin. We had hoped that it wouldnt come to destroying the wonderful docks beautiful structures on Lenontons beach, but we did what had to be done. Tragically one of our destroyers was sunk, apparently someone on board was a traitor. They placed explosives in stragetic locations around the ship and then detonated them once we placed our fleet around Lenonton. The resulting explosion killed over a hundred soldiers and wounded many more. Anyways, once your ships arrive our soldiers will meet up with yours and we will begin the first assault on Lennonton since it was siezed by the rebels several months ago. We have the city completely surrounded on every side, but we determined that an attack by sea would cost less lives than by land, because the invading soldiers will have easy and quick support from our ships and planes.

Many of the C-57 Galaxy Lifters started to land at airfield outside Tyrins and begin to unload troops and equipment to begin moving to the troops and equipment to areas that the Government of Logan and Ky has got and marked for the use of our forces. As the C-57's have landed they unloaded as fast as they could and took off again, so the next ones could come into and land and get the troops and equipment it took the full deployment of First Federation Expeditionary Force in 15 hours because the C-57 can hold 515,000 kg that is non stop flights from the Federation. As this was happening the First Federation Special Forces Battalion was already in country and waiting to get orders from Logan and Ky Military Forces on were they would like them to begin to deploy against the Rebel Forces. At the sametime the ground forces landed and deploy the 5th Fighter Wing (F-90 Guardian Angle) , 6th Fighter Wing (F-99 Wolverine), and the 4th Attack Wing (A-7 Wraith) starts to land also at the airfield were the fighters started to refuel and started to run Combat Air Patrols over Logan and Ky to make sure there is no incoming flights that the Government has not already cleared to enter there airspace.

OOC: Hey everybody, just to let you plan ahead im hoping to rp some major battles (including the attack on Lenonton) tommorow and probably Friday. Maybe over the weekend, im not sure how this is all going to turn out yet. Anyways I would once again like to ask if anyone would like to rp as the rebels, or maybe as the neighboring country. If nobody wants to rp as the rebels i'll just continue rp'ing for them, and maybe i'll do some battles from their point of view. Anyways I wont be posting til tommorow, so... yeah

1500 meters of the coast of Lenonton, the attack has begun

Hundreds upon hundreds of air-cushioned landing craft began approaching the beach. 15000 Elite Legion Troopers, 500 tanks, and 1500 APC's from the 23rd mechanized brigade landed to combat the estimated 20000 rebels in the city. They were the first wave, coming next would be a joint operation with Sterotops and Kyan soldiers.

The elite legion troops were dressed in jet black uniforms, minus the insignia on their shoulder. Due to their highly trained, professional status, these soldiers mostly carried FN F2000 Assault rifles, which were too expensive for the average Kyan soldier. Some had M240 machine guns or SMAW's, but all carried a beltful of grenades and a desert eagle.

In addition to these 15000 Soldiers, there were already 500 Deadbolt snipers in place, watching from high vantage points on buildings in and around the city. These snipers were some of just a few thousand which were the pride of Logan and Ky. Only the very best shots out of Logan and Ky's nearly 400 million people were allowed to even apply to be a deadbolt, and then they had to pass the rigorous training and background checks. Once their training was completed the were, individually, a force to be reckoned with. Together they were nigh invincible. Each carried a DRS-84 sniper rifle. Manafactured by Doomingsland, these were the absolute top of the line. Sleek, able to withstand rugged conditions, and amazingly accurate, they could hit targets at a range of up to 2 miles. This all came at an exorbitant price though, each rifle cost a staggering 30,000 USD, making the investment in a Deadbolt dozens of times more than an average sniper.

Finally the attack was beginning. The first boat hit the beach, then the second, and before a half hour was up, every last soldier and vehicle was on the beach, ready to storm the city at long last. The atmospher was very eerie, as the rebels had not attacked since the original fight about 24 hours ago. This was to be expected though, as the rebels were devout ambush fighters. The soldiers began to get a radio signal from deadbolt snipers in the city...
"We're seeing movement up here, untold number of rebels are converging near your position, do we have permission to fire?"

"Negative, dont reveal your location"

"Yes sir... wait we're seeing something up here... RPG's! Theyre on the rooftops near y-"

The signal cut out and the soldiers looked up at once. Just in time to see the 25 RPG carrying rebels fire off a round.

The shots streaked in all directions, 1 glanced off of a tank, causing minimal damage. The rest resulted in explosions tearing apart several soldiers at a time, and then the real fighting began.

All soldiers in the area immediately pointed and fired, shreddding the rebels with a ridiculous amount of bullets, the rest then dashed off to combat the other rebels in the area, which had just begun firing.

The deadbolts then began firing from their positions up top, scoring headshot after headshot on the rebels moving up to fire at the soldiers still on the beach. So far not many Kyan soldiers had been killed, other than those hit by the RPG's, but now the fighting was beginning to the intensify, and the tanks were gearing up to join the fray.

As Kyan troops began slowly moving up, amidst constant fire from rebel troops and snow whipping around their face from a brewing winter storm (It's late fall in Logan and Ky right now), the SHBT-2 Behemoth's (to see a picture go to DMG miltary industries) began to come up from the beaches. These hulking pieces of metal were Logan and Ky's main battle tank, and for 1 good reason. They could blow shit up, well. Each one these nearly house sized giants carried twin 300 mm smoothbore cannons. Thats a whole lot of dead rebels.

The tanks first targeted buildings which held large numbers of rebel soldiers. One building in particular was bothering the troops, located right near the beach, the soldiers inside had repeatedly repelled attempts to take the large apartment building, which was apparently their beachhead base. Two Behemoths took aim at the foundation of the building, and then fired simultaneosly. The resulting explosion devasted the entire structure, which proceeded to collapse, killing all rebels inside.

Now three hours into the battle, Kyan forces had taken the first district of Lenonton, and now began fortifying and preparing for the next offensive. The casualty reports came in...

Logan and Ky:
347 Dead (including 3 deadbolts)
582 wounded
1 SHBT-2 Behemoth Destroyed, 1 damaged
2 Strykers destroyed, 7 damaged

Rebels:
1,500-3,000 Dead
2,500-4,000 Wounded

With the Logan and Ky forces attacking the port city of Lenonton to regain the hold on that city, but the fight was going to be long because it was going to be building to building fighting and that is when a flight of A-7 Wraiths reported to be over head of the city and requested if there was any targets that the Logan and Ky forces need to be attacked and that is when the A-7 Wraiths started to come underfire from the ground by rebels when one of the A-7 Wraiths was hit by a shoulder fired Surface to Air Missile when this happen the pilot ejected from the damaged Wraith. As he floated down to the city he was down behind enemy lines and now had to figure out where the nearby allies were at or wait until Federation Forces started to come for him.

With the Fed Hq up and running when the Coms Officer reported that a A-7 was hit over Lenonton and that the pilot is out of the down plane and that he is behind enemy lines waiting for recovery.
