Dear Fellow Brothers and Sisters of the International Community,

It has been some time since the United Republic has arisen from the ashes of isolation and returned to the International Scene. Though we have few allies and relations, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to our People and their Freedoms. However, even with these Freedoms and Liberties, a Nation alone cannot survive without some relation to its Comrade Brethren in the International Community.

Therefore, by the Power given unto me by the Grand Republic Congress and the People I now serve, I submit to the International Community a welcome to offer Relations to our Great Nation. We will accept and catalog any Treaty, any Pact, and any Embassy Exchange. Hostile comments will be met with retribution by our Military, so halt your tongue for Private Messaging or Telegrams.

Firstly the stock market of Greal is undoubtedly in a state of turmoil and will likely be required to 'leech' off of that of Anagonia, secondly, Mutual Economic Aid will heavily favor Greal during this violent transition of power. The Imperium does feel the need to contest other aspects of the treaty, although not to the same extent of criticism as we value Anagonian judgment highly.

The Imperium does not contest your intentions, nor the fact that Anagonia is a caring multinational union, however we still view this alliance as unwise. While Anagonia may aim to support the civilian populace of Greal through times of desperation, it does not necessarily mean any kindness on behalf of your people will reach the civilian population of Greal at all. The state itself is overly-aggressive, poorly governed and corrupt from the core, thus we believe that any aid provided to the region would merely fuel the insatiable desires of its barbarian leadership. Greal constantly has demonstrated its ability to avoid diplomacy in the international arena, instead opting for rash and destructive action time and time again.

Domestically, the nation has been ravaged by terrorist atrocities in recent months that had obviously been a prelude of the citizenships extreme distrust in its leadership. In the recent past, there have been two violent uprisings which have both resulted in extreme military brutality in the hands of the state including the massacre of civilian protesters. On top of all this, the recent civil-war has come from within the state itself, where the previous governmental guards have initiated a rebellion in the name of communism and although the Imperium is strongly anti-Leninism, god knows it might actually do them some good.
Ultimately, the choice is yours, but the Imperium wishes to distance itself from such a state altogether, and not provide funding that will undoubtedly be intercepted and utilized for their oppressive war-machine.

Greal is beyond our politikosphere and although I am pained to utter such words, the fate of its citizens is not an Imperial priority. It is viewed that such an event would undoubtedly lead to prolonged conflict in the region, and psychoanalysis of the Greal politik suggests that such an action would stem dire consequences for all especially the residents of the nation. We are, of course, concerned over possible nuclear of biological warheads lingering in the idle hands of the barbarians who currently duel in said region. Many other nations, including that of ViZion and Allanea both of whom operate under an anti-pax policy, have already voiced their support for the crippled state.
The Anagonian opinions of such a, 'delicate' issue are of course highly respected, as the Picts seek the expertise of every corner of the Imperium.

Firstly, read the stickies at the top of the International Incidents Forum. Secondly, the options you chose basically gave you the Military Protection of Anagonia, so your well protected. Don't engage in battles and nuke people with 5,000 nukes, your too young for that. Wait until 1 Billion population, or at least 500 million, to have a ULTRA large army. Always calcuate your forces according to your population...

We, the United Republic, welcome you with open arms. It has been known for quite a while that your nation embraces the Semi-Protectorate Status that we so willingly, and openly, gave unto you. Our people have interacted through tourism and trade, and openly accepted one another. To our People, your People are our Families and Friends, and your Nation is as if a member of ours. Although we, the Governing Entity of Anagonia, duly recognize your Freedoms and Sovereignty, we still like to just assume you were always a member of the United Republic.

Not to go daydreaming, as our peoples already enjoy that benefit. Anyway, everything aside, this signing and recognition establishes the official declaration of your Semi-Protectorate Status. As such, and as a Sovereign Member of the United Republic, the last things we require would be the appointing of Senators to the Grand Senate of the Republic and a General to be appointed to our Joint Chiefs of Staff to collaborate in our Military Efforts.
