SaintB and Tigerlan Weaponry would like to enter a weapon for your approval. The Argonaut .357.

The power of the .357 revolver in a semi-automatic weapon. Though on the heavy side the Argonaut packs a strong punch especially at close range that is rarely seen in a handgun. The weapon is dual action and semi automatic but rapid shots in succession higher than two tend to be extremely inaccurate at medium and higher ranges.

Magazine: 10 round clip +1 in chamber

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

The P270A Diablo Combat Pistol is a short recoil operated, locked breech, semi-automatic magazine fed handgun chambered in a variety of popular hand gun cartridges including 9 mm Parabellum, .357 SIG, .40 S&W, 10 mm Auto and .45 ACP.

The design is based on a modified Browning-type linkless cam-locked breech action with inline feed. A dual recoil buffer spring is used to decrease felt recoil and increase overall service life. Other features of the P270A include double action-only (DOA) trigger, a slide stop and ambidextrous safety/decocker levers that disconnect the trigger and hammer for “locked and cocked” carry at Condition One. The trigger guard is oversized for use with gloves and has a recurved hook for the index finger.

Construction of the P270A Diablo consists a Zytel polymer frame reinforced with aluminium inserts, integral underbarrel accessory rail, a black oxide carbon steel slide and a chromed steel polygonal rifled barrel. Magazines are made from polymer plastics with stainless steel reinforcement. The overall shape of the P270A Diablo is smoothened and radiused to ensure no risk of snagging on draw. The front and rear sights are removable and mounted on dovetail grooves and include Tritium luminous dots for night shooting.

Standard equipment is a Emerson Optronics MK 1 Multifunction Illuminator attached to the underbarrel accessory rail. This is a powerful solid state Class IIIa visible light laser diode selectable between flashlight mode (95 lumens brightness, range 50 metres) and aiming spot mode (range 30 metres in daylight and 450 metres in low light). A threaded 1.37" x 7.83" combined muzzle compensator and sound suppressor can also be fitted to the handgun to fully eliminate visual and audible signatures.

You can get barrel bushings for 1911's that are threaded to accept silencers. Minor modifications to most weapons allow you to do the same thing by threading the barrel. Glocks offer replacement barrels with threadings, too. In short, your options are limitless if you want to pay for additional gunsmithing.

My armed forces, however, carry the Glock 21SF, a smaller-framed version of the Glock 21 that's easier to handle without sacrificing magazine capacity or accuracy.

Name of Weapon: Glock 21SF
Type: Semi-automatic pistol
Manufacturer: Glock (Austria)
Price: $500-$600 MSRP

Specifications
Weight: 745 grams unloaded, 1085 grams loaded
Operation: Short Recoil (Blowback)
Barrel length: 117mm
Cartridge: Any .45 ACP ammunition, rated for +P+ ammunition
Caliber: .45 ACP
Action: Safe-Action System
Feed system: 13 round removeable double-stack box magazine (polymer with metal liner)
Width: 32.5mm
Length: 193mm
Height: 139mm
Trigger Pull: 5.5 lbs
Rifling: Right hand, octagonal
Length of Twist: 400mm
Finish: Tennifer

This weapon is preferred because of its light weight, accuracy, stopping power, and the recoil control characteristics of the polymer frame combined with the reduced grip circumference over the original G21. With the addition of a threaded barrel, the weapon does accept a silencer, and the new 'Universal Rail' system accepts both M1913 Piticanny and Weaver (Or Glock, obviously) accessories (Lights, lasers, glass-breakers, etc.). The reduced frame allows shooters of many hand sizes to be able to control the powerful .45 ACP caliber while still remaining accurate. The pistol also features an ambidexterous magazine release located in the 'American' position, behind the trigger. The pistol has no external safeties but several internal ones that allow safe carry with a round in the chamber and no risk of accidental discharge by being dropped, etc. The durability of the Tennifer finish is slightly less than a diamond on the Rockwell scale. Originally designed for the now-cancelled US SOCOM pistol trials, this weapon has found a home with the Argonian Armed Forces as the standard-issue sidearm.

I believe that with a little modification, this weapon could also be chambered in 10mm Auto. That hasn't been proven, however. 10mm Auto tends to destroy the pistol that fires it in most cases. The Glock 20 survives because of the flexing ability of the polymer and the large grip.
