I have just joined and am looking to start a very successful career in RPing on nationstates. And for most of the really good rp's I have seen...very good maps have been there as well. So obviously I must have a map as well:

I will have another map detailing city locations later; I would have it now, but I don't want to spend another hour adding all of the finer details to find out that my map stinks.

Good map IMO.

I can't make a map for my country because it's not an actual individual landmass. It's comprised of cities and random territories dotting the globe, with one massive artificial island-city floating about 200 miles South of the Bering Strait known as Magna Polis.

It would not be entirely unfeasable to make a map(s) of your nation. They would not be like your run-of-the-mill maps of course, but it could be done.

You could make just one large map detailing the layout of the island-city. Or you could do a larger, global, map detailing the locations of all the territories/cities you mentioned.

I wish I could make maps like this. I need a map, really. This one is quite good.

This map is better than I can ever make if I truly tried, but two things bugged me a bit:

The River Caldrik has streams branching off, but none flowing into it; that's a bit odd, since the river doesn't get narrower as the streams branch off of it.
The provinces are too colourful; personal preference, I suppose.


That's all I have to say.

Generally good, but I'd desaturate the colors somewhat and use unique for each province.
