Official Announcement from the Republic Of Colstream:

At 03:35 Colstream Time this morning, Colstream Coastguard personnel and Colstream Spetsnaz Soldiers captured a cargo ship 20 miles off the East Coast of Colstream. The ship was searched and there was 30 crates of Weapons Grade Plutonium in the holds. They were bound for an unknown location outside the Free States Of Gaia region. The Colstream Government is now investigating the whereabouts of the owner of the ship and the nation this ship was bound to. The whole coastline around the Republic Of Colstream is now being guarded to search all ships coming in or out of the country. The Colstream Government has called upon all nations who read this announcement to watch for any suspisous cargo vessels on their coastline and to halt any suspected terrorist activity.

20:30 Colstream Time- CSD Highlander:

Captain Sanchez stood upon the observation deck smoking his usual Cigar. He watched as the last remaining people left the cargo ship with the confiscated Plutonium. He then turned towards the Fire Control Officer. "Fire 3 Torpedoes at Target One", he ordered. "Fire 3 Torpedoes at Target One", he repeated into the Comm Link. There was a splash outside as 3 torpedoes left the launcher. They sped towards the target. 2 minutes later a huge explosion rocked the sea as the torpedoes slammed into the ship cutting it in half. Then suddenly a second destroyer, CSD Valient, fired her 30 inch Gun into the ship causing another explosion. After 4 minutes, the ship finally rolled over and sank.

Meanwhile another announcement was made:


To: All Nations:

The Republic Of Colstream asks for your help to track down the people who tried to sell this Nuclear Device. We don't know whether there is more nuclear material about. We would like to find the rest of the cargo and bring an end to the problem.

On the horizon, a black dot could be seen. It roared across the surface of the sea, reaching 480 mph as its turbojets ramped themselves up to full power. An ekranoplan, fitted out with masses of radar and sensory equipment. It was flying back and forth across the sea in the Colstream area, its RADAR picking up every single ship. It was currently moving in to investigate AnomalyB, an unregistered ship or other.

As it came closer, its powerful roof-based cameras scanned the vessel, before relaying the picture thorugh an enhancement chip and onto the large screen in the hold of the Ekranoplan.

An Air Commodore was sitting at the head of the visual station, regarding with a keen eye every detail in the rapidly zooming-in picture. He quickly assessed it, and then yelled to the communication officer.

"It's the vessel we're after: message Colstream for permission to send a boarding party. Now! Before the Colstream government torp the damn thing!"

The boarding party in question had just taken off from the F112, a G-class frigate armed with 4 batteries of anti-shipping missiles. Aboard a UH-60 Blackhawk rode 8 Paratroopers, courtesy of the 9th Paratrooper Regiment. Each was armed with an AF-07P, a much more powerful varient of the AF-07. Each had a grenade launcher hooked below, and each had a 40-round sickle magazine protruding from the underside. They all wore naval camo-pattern: an array of digital dots in blues and greys that hurt the eye if looked at.

Each was ready for their insertion: a violent burst from the door gunner who was hefting a large HMG-MB-H 3 "Minigun" on its mount by the open door, followed by the Charlie fireteam landing, with a hail of fire follwoing them from Delta team. Then, they would proceed to clear out the ship with stun grenades hails of lead, that would soon have them in possession of the nuclear weapon that was said to be their objective.

A secondary objective was to take some of the crew alive...

A Colstream Air Force AWACs Aircraft appeared over the Alfegos Ship. It started to send Information on the Ship. The Aircraft sent a signal asking to confirm they had recieved the Information.

"Information on the ship confirmed, final landing phase initiated."

The Ekranoplan slowed down to a near halt, sinking from its cushion of air holding it above the sea onto the surface, where it floated in the calm waters, while the frigate moved in towards the unrecognised vessel, its weapons banks and boarding team ready in case the paras failed.

Meanwhile, the chopper let rip a burst of fire, purple tracer ripping through the sky and onto the deck, where the HE rounds began to rip up all the material on deck, as well as the personnel. After 10 seconds, the barrage stopped as the paras jumped out of the heli, Delta team setting up position in the cover of the ondeck paraphenalia of objects, such as pipes and entrances to below decks, and Charlie team moving to the side of the fire line towards the entrances to below deck.

The helicopter quickly scanned the deck with an infared camera, noting that the 3 bodies ondeck were now dead, and that the hull was thick enough to obscure IR vision.

With the deck clear, the casualties were quickly checked over by the Charlie fireteam, and anything of imporatnce taken off of them. The AK-74s showed they were not likely to be government, and the tatoo showed they were part of some sort of gang. With their helmet-mounted cameras, they recorded the information, before moving in on the stairwell to below decks.

One 2 man team walked down a set of stairs and approached a doorway leading into the hold. They opened it and threw a stun grenade through the door. The greande exploded and several men screamed "We Surrender!!!". 4 men walked out with hands above their heads. The 2 Soldiers walked cautiously into the hold.......

The two soldiers lit their laser sights on their assault rifles, and used red torches to scan the interior of the hold as another team came up behind them and prodded the men off with the muzzles of their rifles.

Inside the cavernous hold, they saw numerous boxes all around them. Everything seemed to be normal.

Then they saw the metal object nestled amongst them, with some others surrounding it. They were armed.

A volley of fire was let loose as the men dived for cover, followed by a blinding flare as one of the men lit and threw one across the hold, lighting the entire innards of the boat with harsh red light. Along with it came aimed at the men from grenade launchers a pair of CS gas grenades, armed to blind the target.

The soldiers fired the CS gas shells across the hold. The shells exploded spraying gas around the hold. The men then spotted a crate that had a danger warning on it. There was a voley of fire as a smuggler opened up with a AK74. One of the men fired back hitting the man in the arm. The man dropped his weapon and raised his hands. The man was wrestled to the floor and his hands were tied. The other soldier spoke into his radio. "All Teams report to Hold 2. We have found package and package is secured, repeat package is secured."

(I will let the godmoding go for now.. it is a tricky situation RPingwise here).

The rest of the men bundled in, moving over to the large box. It was scanned with a geiger counter, the reading jumping perceivably. It was what they had been looking for.

A few minutes later, and the box had been moved by onboard cranes onto the deck, where another 2 choppers had moved over to: both were from the G-9 Grand Cruiser. One pulled up the box into its hold, while another, this one a larger helicopter, disgorged 20 men onto the ship, all from "special branch". They escorted the prisoners onto a chopper, which then flew off into the distance.

Meanwhile, on the island fortress of Sol'Vi in the bay of Zevkhay, the following communication was going on over the communication channels.

"This is Station SV, requesting response from unknown ship."

No reply.

"This is Station SV, repeating response"

No reply.

"this is Station SV, calling out PE-3 to investiagte RADAR anomoly 25"

By the time PE-3 found the last location, the dot had drifted outside of the RADAR screen.

"Discontinue search. Wewill intervene if they re-enter."
