Schnitzelfest

I come before the nations of NS today, URGING for help in resolving the current situation facing The Region of Rineu. The problem is that the region is dying, and not only that - but the very ideals and structures the region was established on long before my time are being questioned, and the region is currently divided and is moving into pure anarchy. I am urging my fellow nations to maintain the fundamentals of democracy but I fear this may not happen.
But first a bit of background into how this occurred.
Rineu was a region that was very stable and active at around 80+ nations. The region is very well established with a forum, offsite homepage, Email service and an instant messaging site. 2 months ago our region had an election to elect a new cabinet and PM - as we do every 2 months. The PM elect was a nation called Sinisland. Other cabinet members include Fahadia, Minilla Island, Schnitzelfest and Duterlio (I may have forgotten some).
These members were all a part of the most active in the region - except there were huge divisions between these nations. Schnitzelfest did not approve of the newly appointed PM feeling they were not correct for the position and was very critical of all actions undertaken by the PM. It was discovered Fahadia was a founder of another region and was recruiting for that region, Minilla Island disapproved of this and this turned into a very heated conflict between nations that ended up in the Courts. During the proceedings of the trial Minilla Island felt the trials were unfair and left the region to form a new region. With Minilla Island went 1 of 3 judges of the Judicial System and a senior Assembly Member.
Later on in the term PM Sinisland was ejected from the UN due to having a puppet also signed up in the United Nations. His defense was that he needed as much UN members to retain stability in the region and to ensure voting took place. Schnitzelfest jumped on this and exposed this as a major flaw that reflected the region as a whole. A conflict arose between Schnitzelfest and Sinisland with Sinisland eventually saying that Schnitzelfest was jealous of not gaining the position of PM and threatened expulsion from the cabinet for lack of vision and activity. Schnitzelfest then turned around a listed everything currently undertaken and planned for the region, and this shut Sinisland up. Both of them apologized and continued business.
Another incident involving Fahadia is just after Minilla Island left Sinisland removed his position in the Executive for betrayal of the Region. Fahadia disputed this claim and more conflict was seen between nations. Another issue in the region is that Sinisland has ensured that legislation remains in place to ensure political parties cannot be formed; this has angered many - especially Fahadia and Schnitzelfest.
While this is occurring the nation count of Rineu was steadily decreasing, mainly due to member nations ceasing to exist rather than nations leaving. PM Sinisland encouraged recruiting to take place - but did not do any himself and did not check up on recruiting, keeping the normal level of recruiting to be done by the recruitment committee. This was at the end of the current term and what Sinisland did do is suspend all elections until a further date. Everyone disagreed to this and decided that 2 weeks will be sufficient. However due to PM inactivity these elections are yet to take place. Campaigning hasn’t even started yet!
Just recently Duterlio, who was the democratically elected UN Delegate to the region and also a senior member of the Welcoming Committee and the Recruitment Committee ceased to exist. This saw the position of UN Delegate handed over to Fahadia by default. With this new power Fahadia, with support of Landstab Memorial have called for a Revolution. Dismissing all government members with no apparent plan for the future as of yet. I have expressed that our current structure is not working. Our PM Sinisland is too inactive to serve the region - resulting in the suspension of election so no other PM can be elected. But before they eject our PM from our region I have urged Democratic processes to take place first. I have urged all members during this time to remain hopeful, optimistic and democratic - and not to result in an anarchy style government. This will only enhance the problem of the region dying. I have also contacted the former senior members of Rineu that left not too long ago to rejoin the region and to help in the rebirth of the region via democratic process.
I also BEG all nations of NS who might be able to help Rineu out during this time. We must ensure that our Region can be restructured while not to break out in conflict and anarchy - which it’s most likely looking to occur.
