Flak WalkerMark I

After the creation of the Walking Machine by a subsidiary of the John Deere company, it was a forgone conclusion someone, at some point, would make a military application. Naturally, of course, it was the Allaneans who fell in love with the mis-shapen concept of walking AA vehicles.

So was born the Flak Walker Mark I. The vehicle is lightly armored – in fact, barely armored at all – and slow as all get-out. It has only one crewmember, the driver, controlling the vehicle through DNI. The idea is to get Flak Walkers into inaccesible forest and mountain areas where conventional flak vehicles or anti-armor vehicles cannot reach, and camp there with the 25mm autocannon and .50-caliber coax.

The vehicle is considered useless by most first-world militaries, but the Allanean DREAD unit has fallen in love with it and is trying to persuade the Army proper to adopt it.

Speed: 25 mph
Range:250 miles
Weight: 1.5 tons unloaded, 2.1 tons full combat weight
Unit Cost: $150,000
Unlimited DPR: $10 billion.

OOC: I saw the pic on DeviantArt and just HAD to do it.

We wish to buy unlimited DPR of the Flak Walker Mark I for the Grestonian military forces, and we wish to know if you can make a more heavily armoured one, which could be used in frontline combat, such as a tank version.

No plans for a heavier Flak Walker exist at the moment, however the Brettonians do manufacture a walking SHBT.

DPR sale is approved.

Ferral Defense Contractors

To upgrade the Flak Walker Mark I to a heavier standard, Ferral Defense Contractors of Saharistan has decided to make a series of upgrades to the FW Mk. 1.

The most important upgrade is a third front leg to help drag the now heavier FW Mk. 1 forward up hills. A new Kevlar inner coating and slat armor to defend against RPGs has also been included. And finally the ultimate upgrade to the Flak Walker Mark 1 is the new weapon.

The 82mm Automatic Mortar with Rocket Assisted proximity shells turns the Flak Walker into a lightweight walking tank. The included .50 cal machine gun has been upgraded to a 20mm autocannon with a coaxial 7.62mm machine gun. Parts of the Flak Walker have been removed to allow the 20m autocannon a greater up facing shooting angle.

The upgrade package makes this the Flak Walker Mark II 'Dragon's Breath'.

Package cost: $50,000 USD per unit
Unlimited DPR: $1.5 billion USD
