OOC: This thread will cover my invasion of Kenya and all other Kreynorian lands I have claimed.

IC:

Fifteen full strength Flotillas as well as nine submarine divisions of the Pacific Fleet set out from port city of Aden in the Near Eastern Autonomous Republic (RL Yemen). The fleet has been signified by the Russian military as Naval Force "Zmei" and was quickly approaching Maharashtra, an Indian region previously controlled by the nation of Kreynoria. Upon hearing the news of dissolution of the Kreynorian government the Federation so an opportunity to integrate some of the failed nation-state's territories into itself. Admiral Kapchyuk was tasked with commanding the "Zmei", a half of the 4th Gvardia stationed in NEAR was given to him as an occupational force under direct command from General-Mayor Rusov. In the meanwhile portions of the 1st Pacific Fleet was crossing through Bering Strait bringing reinforcements from the mainland for the assault on Maharashtra. The numerous islands claimed by the Federation were given the least priority. The Federation was planning to expand its presence in that part of the world and it had the muscle to do it. Russian resolve was strong.

I withdrew my invasion of Kenya and thus I will edit the first post.

Fifteen kilometers west of Mumbai City, Maharashtra

Admiral Kapchyuk and his council of officers set in the conference room aboard "Varyag X" Indestructible Class aircraft carrier that was at the center of the gigantic "Zmei" naval invasion force that was now docked close to Maharashtra shoreline ready to start the attack on the capitol city of Mumbai. Mumbai was the biggest city in the Indian Province and a huge port, its capture would allow the Russians to establish a solid foothold for their further operations inland. Half of the "Zmei" Task Force was charged with capturing the city, the other half was split between capturing Raigad and Ratnagiri, major port cities south of Mumbai along the coast.

So what? Everyone ready? Starting the attack?

Kapchyuk asked everyone in the room, no one said anything, he nodded his head in approval.

Great, no questions. Everyone to your battle stations, we are starting.

The attack has begun, dozens of Black Widow jet fighters took into the sky. Reconnaissance showed that the city defenses were light, most of what was the Kreynorian army in the region segregated into factions fighting against themselves for the control of the region. As usually warlords have emerged and began to bring death and chaos. The 4th Morskaya Pehota (Marine) devision jumped in their assault boats and started quickly making their way towards the port. The 13th VDV brigade was dropped outside the city and already began closing in on the administrative building, it was a race, Marine against the Paratroopers, the one who got to their objective first got all the glory. The VDV had the advantage however they had the T-04 paradropable tanks on their side, all that the Marines had were the IFVs that were swimming along side their boats. Yet still the resistance was supposed to be light, there was simply no time for the enemy to organize themselves well enough, in a big city like this the warring factions were too busy fighting their local adversaries. The invasion has begun.

As Russian forces moved in along the coast the resistance in India crumbled quickly, the invasion came at a point before the remainders of the collapsed government were able to separate themselves into sizable militant factions that would fight for the control of the region. All that Russian Federation forces had to deal with were decentralized local gangs, most of which were poorly armed. The military of the previous regime chose to surrender in bulk as they no longer had anything to fight for, those regiments that did not oblige the surrender ultimatum issued by the Federation were destroyed with mass missile strikes. The country was taken costing Russia only a hundred fatalities. A crucial stage in the integration was upon the Indian province, the formation of a new government through Democratic elections were soon to be held, temporary delegates from the newly created Autonomous Indian Federative Republic were sent to the state Duma in Voronej. Where was a lot of work yet to be done to earn the trust of the people, but the Russians were doing a lot of good, food and water was in full supply, electricity was quickly restored to most of the country, it was not long till the wheels of economic process started to turn bringing wealth to the region.

The Pacific Islands were easy to conquer, where was no ground troops in the area, the only opposing forces were of naval nature. The enemy fleet surrendered as they had nowhere to run now, no major port to call their own, the United Pacific Federation of Islands was created as the local government, the integration process has begun.
