[Abstract]

The Advanced Light Shoulder Fired Anti-Armor Weapon (designed M93 Longbow) by the Allied Union Federal Defense Force is a light anti-tank guided missile launch system developed by the Southport Long Arms Corporation, based in Southport, A.U.V.R., to fulfill a requirement by the Allied Union's ground forces for a new man portable anti-armor capability to compliment the Gladius heavy anti-tank munition and replace effective but obsolescent unguided recoilless rifles currently serving as the primary anti-armor capability of the Allied Union's light infantry units. The ASLAW is able to consistently knock out enemy armored units at both close quarters and stand off ranges to over one thousand meters, and is versatile enough to engage fortifications and soft targets (with specialized ammunition), as well as providing a squad level air defense capability against low flying fixed and rotary wing targets.

(OOC: XD... This rocket launcher is made of win. In fact I think it's the winniest launcher on the market today. Excellent job Velkya, you can now say your engineers and designers are also made of win :p

Inside joke... heh. Good design.)

[News From Redeker Proving Grounds, Selkan Semi-Autonomous Republic, Allied Union of Velkyan Republics]

Helicopters streak overhead, their dark gray shapes casting long shadows in the Arctic sun of the Redeker Proving Grounds, the official surface and aerospace weapons testing center of the Allied Union's Federal Defense Force. Their cargo, legions of Combat Engineers of the Velkyan Army decked out in hazardous material equipment, with radiological clearance vehicles thundering down the road beside the press encampment. Our concrete shelters shake as they pass, headed towards the smoking hulls of three Allanean built 'Aggressor' super heavy battle tanks. On the far side of rise only seven hundred meters from these Goliaths stand our story's Davids, eighteen volunteers of the 54th Mechanized Infantry Division, bright smiles on their faces and smoking weapons in their hands.

Their slings? Four newly minted M93 Longbows, better known as the Advanced Light Shoulder-Fired Anti Armor Weapons, the newest anti-tank weapon to be placed in the capable hands of our fighting men and women. The three Allanean-produced tanks (laden with automated control devices), costing up to twenty-five billion per unit, were disabled in a live fire exercise by a half a platoon of light infantry, with about sixty thousand dollars worth of ordinance. The first wreck, designated 'Alpha' by military intelligence, was disabled by four tandem HEAT top attack warheads while advancing at the head of the column of armor, with three penetrating and disabling her light water reactor (fortunately, due to the design of the reactor, there was no major radiation leakage), with the fourth striking a forward ammunition magazine, disabling a quarter of her forward armament and grinding her to a halt.

The two remaining tanks began to advance in a line abreast, towards the launch sites, peppering the hills with cannon fire, having nearly no appreciable affect on the well entrenched infantry, would proceeded to launch another salvo on the second tank, landing two hits on ammunition stowage, the explosions immobilizing and neutering her, while the third hit damaged the reactor and forced a controlled shutdown (the fourth was intercepted by a lucky twenty-three millimeter round that managed to damage its guidance system). The final tank began to retreat, laying down suppressing fire from auto-cannon rounds on the hillside, when the two squads flanked her and let loose with their remaining eight rockets, six of which making contact with the tank's two hundred millimeter rolled homogeneous armor equivalent top armor, detonating the vehicle's ammunition stores in a tremendous conflagaration and leaving the remainder to smoke and fizzle mere yards away from her comrades.

The three tank study, funded by the Southport Long Arms Corporation with Federal Defense Force backing, truly shows the dominance of the ASLAW on today's battlefields as a capable and highly destructive infantry weapon, a weapon that rightfully belongs in both the Federal Defense Force's arsenal and those of elite forces worldwide.

OOC: This is a very important note, the Aggressor's nuclear reactor is a Graphite Moderated Reactor, built by Ferral Defense Corporation, a company that was incorporated with 'private funds' 2 days before the Aggressor entered the market.

The Graphite Moderated Reactor is Chernobyl's reactor and was built with substandard materials. The shielding is bad and magnesium-aluminum armor. Magnesium and aluminum are both flammable.

The Terracratic Union of Faxanavia wishes to enquire as to the price of a DPR for such a fine example of engineering.
