[Abstract]
The Advanced Light Shoulder Fired Anti-Armor Weapon (designed M93 Longbow) by the Allied Union Federal Defense Force is a light anti-tank guided missile launch system developed by the Southport Long Arms Corporation, based in Southport, A.U.V.R., to fulfill a requirement by the Allied Union's ground forces for a new man portable anti-armor capability to compliment the Gladius heavy anti-tank munition and replace effective but obsolescent unguided recoilless rifles currently serving as the primary anti-armor capability of the Allied Union's light infantry units. The ASLAW is able to consistently knock out enemy armored units at both close quarters and stand off ranges to over one thousand meters, and is versatile enough to engage fortifications and soft targets (with specialized ammunition), as well as providing a squad level air defense capability against low flying fixed and rotary wing targets.
