The Foreign Legate Office of The Democratic States of Vista Buena

Vista Buena's Foreign Legate Office conducts all its business from the Court of St. Willibrord, located in the nation's capital, Victorsville. This is where the State Ceremonial Scepter, used to accredit foreign emissaries, is located. The Court moves to wherever the Scepter is being moved to.

All ambassadors assigned to Vista Buena are hereby recognized as "Ambassador to the Court of St. Willibrord".

National Legislative Branch: State Parliament

Composition:
• The State Advisory Council- no legislative powers. Only power to veto legislations in certain circumstances. Main function is to advise the State Parliament or President on affairs of state, among other responsibilities. Consists of former Presidents, Speaker of the State Parliament, and other appointed members

• The Chamber of Representatives- legislative power resides in this Chamber. Consists of representatives chosen by Proportional Representation/Open Party List vote, with the candidates for office selected via Open Party Primaries.


National Executive Branch:

• State President- Assisted by an appointed Prime Minister, chosen from the leader of the largest party/coalition in the State Parliament, upon advice of The State Advisory Council. State President chosen via First Past The Post popular voting.

• Cabinet- Appointed by the President, with the Chamber of Representatives and State Advisory Council holding veto rights (State Advisory Council's veto rights can only be exercised in certain circumstances)

Current State President: None. State Presidency is represented by the National Transformation Council, which will dissolve upon the conclusion of the State President Election.


National Judicial Branch

• State Court of Final Appeals- Handles all final Civil and Criminal cases, after they have gone through all other legal processes. A panel of 11 State Justices are appointed via decree of the State President, with the candidates chosen by the State President and passed without objection by both branches of the State Parliament.

• State Court on Constitutional Law- Handles all legal cases on constitutional affairs. 9 State Arbiters are appointed by the State President. Both branches of the State Parliament have veto powers. Also the accrediting body of the State Bar Association (an independent entity).

This compound was originally part of the headquarters of a Lamonian insurance company, until they moved to a larger compound elsewhere in Lamoni. Situated in central Nephi, the compound is a fifteen minute drive from the Lamonian Foreign Ministry, and an additional fifteen minutes from the Lamonian Presidential Palace, known as the Hawk House.

This building has recently been renovated, but retains an old fashioned facade on the front facing. The renovations have left the building with the most modern equipment, and the size of the building is more than sufficient for use as an embassy. The building is in the commercial district of Nephi.

This building was formerly used as part of the Lamonian Revenue Department. Before that, it was part of a college campus. This building would need renovations to be serviceable as a full fledged embassy, but is ready to be set up for temporary use until the renovations are completed.

BIOGRAPHY: Yogi has serves 12 years in our elite Majestic Guardians, and as such is still inquired to keep fit, having a very large build, but still, even with his age, quite quick in reflexes.

He has also served under many Vitolian Presidents as a Presidential Aid. He's been a diplomat and travelled the globe in various countries to learn about them for the past 11 years.

He has three children and eight grandchild. A loving and hard-headed man, he is also extremely mentally fit and strong-willed with a desire to get things done, no matter the cost. He never attended college, but taught himself much through his years since highschool.

Legate Rensburg worked for our State Ministry for Education for 3 years. He was responsible for international academic cooperation and convergence. A years ago, when the Office for International Academic Convergence became an initiative between the Foreign Legate Office and the State Ministry for Education, Legate Rensburg became the Office's first director.

Legate Rensburg graduated from the Vista Buena University of Education with a degree in Secondary Education and Psychology (through a programme with the Free University of Vista Buena).

1543 S. Green Point Road, Victorsville

This was the headquarter of the State Ministry of Environment before they moved into a purpose-built, environmentally friendly building earlier this year. The building was renovated before the move, in hopes of finding a good seller. The facility itself was build 10 years ago, and during the renovation, the building was completely overhauled to prepare it for the digital age. The entire building has been certified as "Digital Age Ready" by our State Ministry of Science & Technology.

2832 W. Castle Point Way, Victorsville

This was the home of the national Red Cross and Red Crystal Society before they moved into a new facility in the Central Business District. The building is a faithful reconstruction of Somerset House, which was the former City Hall of Victorsville before the building was destroyed in a terrorist attack 20 years ago. The building, still called Somerset House, was rebuilt 15 years ago, and has been certified as "Digital Age Ready" by our State Ministry of Science & Technology.

This is a Class A Historical Building, and was the home of our National Observatory until it moved to a new, purpose-built facility 2 years ago. The building was repaired by the government, and has been certified as "Digital Age Ready" by our State Ministry of Science & Technology.

This is a Class B Historical Building, and was the home of the Victorsville Precinct 1 Police Station. After the Police Reorganisation was completed by the Victorsville City Council, the Precinct 1 Police Station was moved. The building has been certified as "Digital Age Ready" by our State Ministry of Science & Technology, and was renovated a year before the Police Station moved.

A career Legate, she is a member of the Foreign Policy Group that advices the national government on its foreign policies. She also worked at our nation's State Ministry of Science & Technology as the International Convergence Committee chairwoman. Theron graduated from the Free University of Vista Buena with a degree in Global Conservation/Sustainability.

As for your embassy, you can choose either a plot of land or an existing building. We are wondering what we should do for our embassy.

The Foreign Ministry of the Free Republic of Lamoni

The Free Republic chooses: 1543 S. Green Point Road, Victorsville. We apologize for the delay, but we have been inundated by the embassy requests of fellow nations.

Our Ambassador is Mel Grant, and he graduated from Karakan University's Tufts School for Diplomats. He has steadily worked his way up the Lamonian diplomatic ladder, and it is felt that he is ready for his first Ambassadorship.
