On this day, we of the Eastern Kiravian Empire are pleased to announce our formal seccesion from the Western Kiravian Empire.

Foriegn nations should note that the Eastern and Western Kiravian Empires are, as of this evening, completely seperate entities. The Western Empire speaks Coscivian, while we speak English. They are a civilocratic Colonial Empire, while we are a Democratic Provincial Empire. Treaties and pacts made to the Kiravian Empire are not valid to us, but remain valid to the Westerners.

We are itnerested in seeking out allies of our own, If you are itnerested, please state so.

We offer a hand of friendship to those that seek freedom.

His Majesty, King William V Salisbury, has admittedly not been well informed about the happenings in the Eastern Kiravian Empire. Please do not be offended by his apparent ignorance or hold His Majesty in contempt. There simply is not much news from your Empire that reaches his Dominion.

His Majesty is sure that there is excellent reason behind this succession and that it is perfectly lawful. He also believes that the Eastern Kiravians are surely a more civilized race than their western brethren due to their literacy. However, he would like to know the exact circumstances that has facilitated this division of the former state.

We extend our friendship to the Holy Empire as well, and there is indeed the possibility of a trade pact between our nations. We have few trading partners, save for the Western Empire.

Confederate Nations Though being former subjects of this alliance, we oppose the Confederate nations on most matters, inlcluding environmentalism, interventionism, and imposition of its will upon non-members.

The Eastern Empire seceeded for various reasons. Many Eastrons oppose the CN, UC, environmentalism, social libertarianism, and lack of racial as opposed to ethnic diversity in the West. Our anglophonism also led us to seceed.

Does the new state of Eastern Kiravia follow the same environmentalist policies of the existing empire? Should the opinion of the Eastern politik be made clear, The Pictish Imperium shall offer the most honorable state the promise of its continued existence under the protective wing of Pictavia, in exchange for admittance as an sovereign state of the Pictish Imperium. Regardless of Eastern Kiravia's decision, we advise that an embassy be established on Pictish soil to further benefit both of our peoples.

Unfortunately, we do not adhere to the Kiravian Empire's policies. We do have restrictions to control industrials runoff and such, and we do have certain regulations on forestry. However, it is our belief that human survival and prosperity is of higher importance. Nonetheless, we would like to open an Embassy in Pictavia.

The Unites Socialist States of New Brittonia wishes to extend an arm to the new Eastern Kiravian Empire. We wish to arrainge a meeting with one of your governmental officials with Special Consul to the Eastern Kiravian Empire Jack Dawson to discuss aid and future diplomatic relations.

THe limo drove swiftly through the streets of New Stanton, past the eroding stone buildings toward the Governmental Park on the East Side. After a quick security check, they pulled up to the Palace.
