Description:
Description: A massive dragon, made fully of the substance known as amber. The dragon's long, rather bulky body extends to about 120" making it one of the largest creatures around. Ambroter posesses large talon-like claws used to rip into the flesh of prey, and humanoid creatures. His long neck leads to a magnificently horned head with burning, fearless amber eyes. His jaw holds powerful teeth used to sheer through bone and sinew like a knife through butter. His scales, amber as mentioned before, are worth a fortune. With a massive wingspan Ambroter is easily capable of flying long distances as needed. When dealing with the weaker races of the world, Ambrotte perfers a human form that allows him to negotiate the continuance of his horde and various other matters. He perfers to wear elegant tan clothing, rich shoes and various magic rings while in human form. Both in the draconic and human form he posesses arresting amber eyes that seem to pierce directly into your soul.
The Horde
Precious Metals- In the horde there are hundreds of thousands of pounds of gold, silver, and various other metals. Much of this metal has been minted into coins, but some of it has been forged into ornate armor that can be presented as gifts to those that the dragon favors. The precious metals make up the vast majority of the dragon's horde.
Precious/Semi-Precious Gems- In Ambrotte's lair there are piles and piles of diamonds, rubies, saphhires, emeralds, amythest, pearl, obsidian, and the personal favorite- amber. The gems aren't used for anything persay except when the dragon feels the need to use magic to craft items for his use or grant them to someone. The dragon is extremely protective of his gems and they are in a separate part of his lair, very close to his precious metals.
Hall of the Magi- In the Hall of the Magi is stored many magical artifacts, carefully preserved for several centuries. There are magic crowns, scepters, staves, neclaces, pendents, weapons, armor, etc. The magical energy eminating from the hall is very powerful and takes a man or woman of the strongest will to enter without the dragon's help. It is also here that one of the dragon's most powerful artifacts is stored- The Ring of Berlias. The ring is pure gold with the exception of a perfectly circular piece of obsidion sticking in the center of the ring. Runes are carved inside the ring and hum with power when Ambrotte employs it's power. The ring's functions are many including molding into shadow, invisibility, and the ability to have control over powerful 'black' flame.
