OOC:
The British-White Phoenix War had raged for many years now initially the Tribe had offered the visitors food, water and shelter and they had been repaid with Abuse, Violence and Rape as a result the friendless of the tribe was now replaced with the white man emotion of hate and anger. War had broken out and the native White Phoenix Tribe had been slowly pushed back across their Kingdom only two strongholds remained the settlement of Foxspears and the fortified City of Phoenixor which was located deep within the heart of the Mountains. This RP is going to document a very bloody part of White Phoenix History known as the Siege of Foxspears in which the British Colonial Forces led by Governor-General James Swan laid siege to Foxspears eventually launching an all out attack massacring much of the Cities Inhabitants. I am looking for two RP'ers to play the following:
- The British Colonial Forces
- A French Detachment of Troops observing the battle and failing to act
- Anything you want as long as its justified
1880, Foxspears, Phoenixor:
Before the British had arrived the White Phoenix knew nothing of Defensive Fortification as a result went the British began their forced occupation and basic genocide of the White Phoenix the Tribal Army was quickly overrun as they had no defences to mount. However with the war now entering its 5th Year the Tribe had managed to construct two key defensive fortifications which where based on British Forts that the White Phoenix Warriors had been able to observe from distance. These Tribal Fortifications where known as Phoenixor named after the Tribal Nation and Foxspears named after the current Chiefdom, Chiefdom Foxspears. Phoenixor was located within the Powerful Dark Volancic Chʼúúkʼanén Mountains with Foxspears been located on the Ypandis Plains which where located at the foot of the Chʼúúkʼanén Mountain Range. With the British advancing from the south at a somewhat unnatural pace after their victory at Jicarilla.
Chief Foxspears sat in perfect meditative stillness in the Temple within Phoenixor speaking with the Tribal Spirits he was somewhat scared of the coming British he had witnessed the destruction of many cities and watched helplessly as women some as young as 13 where violated before his eyes by the supposedly civilised British Forces. The Chief could here the fast paced march of the British Redcoat Infantry, he could here the gallop of the Cavalry and the rocking of their Cannon. He knew they where coming, he
prayed to the gods to grant him the power and the courage to defend his people and one of the kingdoms last remaining settlements. The Chief an old aging man had even considered using the sacred book that the forgotten peoples had gifted the tribe with all those thousands of years ago. He opened his eyes and rose to his feet his robes falling to around his ankles striding forward he exited the Temple and proceeded forward into the Square climbing the statue of the Phoenix he roared across the settlement in his native tongue:
"We are leaving the Settlement, gather everything you can and make for Phoenixor."
The Chief knew that the British would arrive before all had left and as a result the Tribal Warriors would defend the City to buy those whom where fleeing as much time as possible. It was then that the gates of the city opened and one of the Chiefs most trusted Scouts galloped in on stolen British Horse the Scout skidded to a halt and leapt from the white stallion he bowed before the chief and chanted again in his native tongue:
"I bow to no man"
The Chief knelt before him and whispered:
"What did you see?"
The Scout shuddered:
"1,000 Rifles, 500 Horses and 25 Cannon. I also saw 500 Blue Rifles, 250, Blue Horse and 5 Cannon camped south of the Gileño Riverpass"
The Chief shuddered and rose to his feet he proceed to rally his people to leave Foxspears and run for the hills and the last settlement of Phoenixor high within the Chʼúúkʼanén Mountains this War was coming to an end and the Tribe was loosing it would take a miracle for the Tribe to survive, little did they know such a miracle was on the horizon.
