After the country fell into anarchy and civil war, other nation stepped in making claims in the land. Then some rebel groups emerged claiming that they would rule the nation of people joined them. Because they had few funds and donations, these organizations have now asked that any nation willing to send supplies/munitions/mercenaries would greatly be appreciated.

ECL ( Eastern Cripistani Liberators): Although they are located in the west, they were originally from east, but pushed back because of claims made in their territory

History: The ECL were pushed back by the Orbathian and Preft claims in thier territory. Because they had few weapons, they decided to retreat, and came up with a master plan to retake a portion of the nation. They await arms for this plan to happen

History: The SCLF has recently engaged in battles with the Guardian led by Preft, and soldiers of Urcea. Many people may not know, but the SCLF has had problems with Urcea since they used napalm bombs on the jungle, leading to the mass murder of thousands of civillians. They now wish to avenge the descesed, and take over the stronghold of Webster to gain influence in Cripistan.

It has come to my attention that a Nation seeks to be freed from the harshness of Anarchy. It is with this fact that the United Republic of Anagonia hereby secretly under go's Operation Thunderstorm, a massive undertaking to bring order to your nation. It will be the most concentrative and militarily complicated Secret Operations that Anagonia has ever undertaken. Although we predict we will be found out, sooner or later, we do not foresee this for some time.

Having one of the most highly trained and highly funded military has given us extensive capability in the area's of support and warfare. Anagonia will be sending troops to train yours, and to begin immediate gorilla tactics to gain a proper foothold for your faction. We will be sending a Carrier Task Force in the disguise as a patrol fleet off your once-great nations borders with the announced intention to prevent pirate activity. Troop ships will be included in the fleet, and will be dispatched under the cover of darkness to begin Operation Thunderstorm. You will be notified in advanced by Special Ops teams that will guide your men to the rendezvous point. There in the immediate vicinity of your choice, we will set up a base camp of Operations to coordinate efforts and construct a proper facility for training your soldiers.

We will also provide housing for families, should you need it. If you so choose, we will also give way to a massive undertaking to construct housing developments and proper towns and rework any construction you should need to begin a Nation. For you will begin a nation, and finish it, with your families in safe and responsible housing. Efforts to construct food facilities and initiate trade routes to our nation for supplies will also begin.

Your Military will be trained in the use of Anagonian vehicles and aircraft, weapons and weapons platforms, troop tactics and troop support, and with Peacekeeping maneuvers when the war is over. Peace time is the most important time, for then a proper Police Agency would be born from the training we will provide.

All of this is estimated to cost my Country around 100 Billion Denars over a period of five years, but I am willing to make that commitment. Both because we have built ourselves a great Economy, and also because our People support "Peacekeeping" initiatives. This will be under such categories. The Anagonian People, you see, wish to extend those freedoms they love to others. And this Operation, I foresee, will be passed by the Republic Congress without much resistance.

[OOC: Adding to what Livria said, the MiG-25 is really old. The newest one is the MiG-35, and even that is not that great of an aircraft. It has no missiles! It only has a chain gun. The MiG-25 also is terrible, having only a total of eight missiles. But I digress. And, I am not skilled in that aspect whatsoever, so this is probably quite inaccurate. Flame me or whatever. The pair of F/A-24 stealth fighters acknowledged with code prefixes and continued to cruise silently in lazy arcs just outside the invisible border while their onboard computers counted down.

As the count reached zero, an Iroquois VTOL transport flew between them and the fighters activated powerful EWAR modules mounted to their external pylons, masking the passage of the transport, a few seconds later their internal weapons pay released decoys that followed the transport for a ways and then split off following separate paths, one splitting off from the transport, while the other continued to follow the transport that changed from it's original course, with any luck, defense forces would be looking for a an aircraft following the original course, ignoring the pair of obvious decoys.

Police Action in the Divided Lands of Cripistan!

November 18th, 2007.

Several monthes earlier, President Ataturk announced in his state of the union address that he would seek to advance the cause of international catholicism, by any means. This afternoon he made good on his promise, when a catholic faction emerged from the Divided Lands of Cripistan. President Ataturk authorized the supply of 300,000 of the Nation's state of the art weapons system, the M16A4, to the catholic militias. One of the most powerful catholic factions, The Guardians, was given more direct support, in the form of the 3rd Republican Marine Division, which is on its way to the country to assist in the training of The Guardian's armies.

400,000 of the outdated M16A2 and M16A3 weapons systems are also traveling with other elements of the Holy Republican Marine Corps, to an undisclosed location. The Holy Republican Army has also begun mobilizing its Armored Corps. When questioned, 4-Star General Mohammed said that the HRA was preparing for a possible escalation of the conflict. President Ataturk also authorized small scale air strikes on SCLF, strictly in support of Guardian troops. Centeral Anatolia's Supreme Religious Leader, Pope Baari IV, has put his full support behind President Ataturk's policy toward the Divided Lands of Cripistan, saying "it is the duty of all good catholic nations to help the less fortunate catholics of other nations, and the Church of Centeral Anatolia will put its full support behind the President in this most dire hour."

Impact

Centeral Anatolia (unoffically) declares war on the SCLF.

The 3rd Republican Marine Division enters the Harbor of Winds, and begins construction of an airfield for the Holy Republican Airforce to relocate to. (20,000 Marines)

I'd agree with that summary. Considering this engagement has been going on for quite some time, I'd consider that fact that one fleet of a Super Power would be enough to get someone out of the way. Two is a handfull, and not worth it. Considering two more Carrier Battle Fleets are enroute to the scene to land more troops, supplies, and equipment....I'd bet that trusting would play a big part.

Almost immediately, a team was put togther. They were a small team of ex-Republican Guard soldiers -- all of which had seen combat. They were escorting a senior agent of the WPA, one which had been privy to the liason work of Sayyid Abdul Aziz. They were all trained for the mission that awaited them -- a high altitude drop. A plane was acquired as well as their equipment -- HAR-1B rifles, which were not even on the market yet, termosuits to protect them from the cold, night vision goggles, and numerous other technological goodies.

The plane set out the next morning, timed exactly so the team would arrive ten minutes early. They boarded the plane -- a Halladi cargo plane -- in utter silence. Nothing, aside form a few nods, stirred in the cargo hold. The plane took off without a hitch, and began its long flight to Cripistan.

Then finally, a man broke the silence. "You all know why you're here."

The soldiers look at each other. "We've been briefed," answered one man, a tall, muscular soldier.

"I didn't ask that. I was hoping you knew why you are here," retorted hte first man. There was a silence. "You are here to act as the vanguard of a Revolution. To support a vital resistance movement in the nation of Cripistan. You are the Revolution and the emobodiment of the Halladi State. Now, do you understand?"

They look at each other, but said nothing. "I am Seniorn WPA Agent Hakim. That is all you need to know about me. Now, sound off as I call your names." He took out a small piece of paper. "Latif Mahdi, Captain."

"Present." Answered the tall man who had spoke before.

"Zaki Nur al Din, Sergeant."

"Present." Answered another man, who was taking apart his HAR-1B and cleaning it. This man was not as tall as the Captain, but he had a solid build and beak-like nose that was his defining feature.

"Ibrahim Qadir, Private."

"Present." The answer came form a smaller man, who carried a compact machine gun. His skin was light and he had deep, blue eyes.

"Hud Firas, Private."

"Aye, present." Answered a tough looking man, bigger and more musclar than even the Captain. He sported two weapons, an anti-tank guidaded missile launcher and an HAR-1B.

"Amber Najwa, Corporal."

"Present, comrade." The last member of the team was a women, who answered with iron discipline. Hakim noted that she wasn't anywhere near beautiful.

"Okay, I suggest that you all do the following: clean your weapons. Check your chutes. Then get some sleep. Then read the Communist Manifesto -- Literature is a great thing."

The Captain, grinned. "Read? How about... recite?"

Hakim half-smiled. "It's good to see they still train you lot well."

Hours had past. Countless hours. They had stopped to refuel several times. And how it was go time. They were all prepared. All precisely where they needed to be -- in that adrenaline-created zone. The light turned green. One by one, out they went, into the icey-cold of the upper atmosphere -- though they barely felt it in their thermosuites.

It took a while for them to land, but they all managed to get down safely. Their destination was Cripistan, and they were in the centre of the nation, in a meadow. On the far side of the landzing zone was a decrepit building -- an old farm house selected as their meeting area with Cripistani rebels. The soldiers moved out, securing the permetre in utter silence. Then they swept the house, to make sure it was clean. There was no one inside. Hakim sat down on an old chair that creeked with every slight move he made, and waited for the rebel representative to arrive.

The SCLF Represenative, along with a few men, waited just behind the tree line in the meadow. As soon as the Halladi soldiers entered the farmhouse, the SCLF men moved out. This was the base of General Kharzev. He stepped out of a brick house. He was a young man of only 28. He had a short, dark black beard. He had a M-5 Carbine starapped around his shoulder.
" We both know why you are here. Come inside." He led the represenative into the house.

Our forward advance force was spotted by an enemy gunboat and it relayed in before we could capture it, our forces soon came under heavy strafing fire and we were forced to retreat to the main battlefleet where our naval anti-aircraft guns could protect us. The landings have been delayed until we can move in an aircraft carrier and secure air supremacy.
