On the morning of 15 November, 71 ACD, Akimonad signed an agreement with the Questerian Commonwealth that confirmed its ascension to the QC. Keeping in mind the interests of the QC and Akimonad, the agreement was signed in secret in a bunker underneath Kent.

The time has come to announce Akimonad's ascension. Thus today we happily announce that Akimonad and its possessions have been confirmed as a Dominion of the Questerian Commonwealth.

Alongside the Imperial Office at Jesselton the Akimonad flag was raised the following day at dawn. One more in the family of nations.

The Imperium seeks to determine the cause of this recent shift in the Akimonadi powerbase. Secondly, The Imperium most respectfully requests the return of occupied Echoese provinces to Utopian control as to serve the interests of the people, and to further unify the free and democratic Echoese Confederacy.

As a member of Haven, its security and the state of the nations and alliances based out of the region is of a rather high level of import in my opinion. Thusly, the admission of Akimonad into the Questarian Commonwealth was brought to my attention quite rapidly. And in light of the recent invasion of Haven,* I must protest to such an admission. The dust has not even settled from the conflict with Aequatio and these moves are being undertaken. Such action would allow inferior non-Havenic stock to gain entrance to our region, please reconsider before I am forced into a distasteful situation.

Akimonad poses no threat to Haven. If Questers were to annex these lands I am confident your Government would not send a letter of complaint. You can be assured there is no threat posed by a QC member to the security of No Endorse. Our stubborness is as stalwart as our Empire is large. Akimonad will stay in our Empire and we will protect her Havenic claims from foreign aggression.

Your letter has in some ways done little to reassure myself and my associates. You see, it is for the same reason that we would not protest to this area's annexation by your nation directly that we protest to this annexation by Akimonad. I stand by my previous statements. However, I will back down if conclusive evidence of direct and unquestioned Questarian control of the area can be demonstrated.

I do not wish for this incident to create bad blood between our nations. However, if your nation does not reserve absolute, complete, and final control over the colony, I will be unable to accept it into Haven proper.

Dear Mr Amner,
It is impossible at this time for us to reserve control over this island. They are Akimonadi and that is how they will stay. However, at this present time Questarian forces militarily control this island. There is no need for an Akimonadi military presence; perhaps it would sufficiently appease your nation if it were to stay this way? If not, I fear the resulting days will ensure an ends that does not justify the means.

While it is rather humorous for us to have this conversation in light of recent events pertaining to the nation of Aequatio, the current situation is such that I see no need to proceed further. I am recalling all assets currently dispatched. I believe that a continuation of current circumstances around the island will prove fruitful, and that the citizens of Akimonad will be schooled in the ways of Haven.

Additionally, I hope that you and your family are well. Please send my regards to Elain, I have not seen her in some time and wish to rectify this. As such, I may come to visit your proud nation in the near future. I hope Violet will be able to come as well, but she has been ill of late and her time may not be long in coming.

Ministry of War: Asymmetric Warfare Design Study - 204251-DDN-Akimonad

As stated in the last design study, the destabilization of Akimonad has been increased to 'CENTRAL CONCERN' [MoW-QCD] and following current events, this document has been reclassified, TOP SECRET, and requires Executive Approval from both the Triumvirate Council, the Ministry of War, and the Department of the Navy, Subdepartment of the Office of Naval Intelligence to view.

The creation of a widespread distrust in the Akimonadi government and disruption of critical infrastructure per Design Study - 201129-ERA-Akimonad developed for the army, are the exact same goal. No populace has faith in its government when the rice bowls are empty, the beer bottles dry, and the store shelves bare. The reduction of the populace and the government's response [refer to [MoW]-Study 000422 Hunger, Famine and Bullets], are central to this plan.

Therefore as the Glorious Republican Navy requested, this design study was initiated 12 days before Akimonad joined the Questerian Commonwealth. As we have noted, the situation there is now a 'CENTRAL CONCERN' [MoW-QCD], therefore this document has ascended to your desk. The following document will outline a series of strategies, detailed maps and breakdowns of Akimonadi life, culture, demographics and infrastructure, and finally attack vectors that we in the Asymmetric Warfare Division find applicable and useful for our government to engage in successfully without detection.
