Culture:Latin is the official and literary language. Humanism has gianed a strong foothold in Hungary with the many Italian artists, craftsmen and masons arriving at Buda. The Hungarian diet is very rich, and red meat is frequently used as an ingredient.

(A note on armor.)
All soldiers with the exception of knghts and arquebusiers wear riveted mail with rows of small plates on the front and back. The Light Calvary, Clipeati and Armati wear either a conical helm with plate ear and neck guards or a barbutt helm.

Hungarian Knights- Simular to their western counter parts. Armed with a hand and a half sword, lance and covered in plate armor with a early armet style helm.

Hungarian Light Calvary- Divided into two groups. Horse archers are armed with either a bow and a sword and make up about 1/3 of the light calvary. The rest is made up of mounted spearmen armed with a round shield, a spear and a sword.

Clipeati-Form a defensive pavise sheild wall. Fight with spears and/or swords.

Armati- Fight along side Clipeati with halbards and polearms.

Saxons- Saxon levies form a body of spearmen, carry a squar shield.

Light Infantry-Composed of crossbowmen. Light infantry also carry either a small axe, sword or war hammer. Wear Kettle-hat.

Arquebusiers- Normally fight from within war wagons (Tabors) positioned behind clipeati formations or on the flanks. Also carry knives or short axes and are armored in cloth armor and a Kettle-hat.
