Right then - I think the Warhound and Driftwood will be out of your range as will the AAT-07, so lets go for these then:
-----------------------------------------------------
Introduction
With the woeful inadequacy of many wheeled IFVs in mountain warfare being recognised, the Basalt was commisioned in 1976 as a vehicle for transporting fire teams across the extremely rough and gruelling terrain of mountains, yet still being able to have a decent speed, and good protection coupled with armament.

Propulsion
The Basalt uses tracks to move about across the difficult terrain of mountainsides. These are powered by a turbocharged diesel engine, generating 650hp. The engine is located underneath the driver compartment, the exhaust passing out of armoured vents behind the crew compartment.

Armament
The turret on the roof contains a single 20mm autocannon, with a 7.62mm machine gun mounted coaxially. To the side of the turret is a single AAT-67V missile pod, firing wire-guided missiles at targets.
Around the turret are mounted two clusters of 3 smoke launchers, for tactical smokescreening

Defence
The vehicle is armoured with an alloy of steel and aluminium, including the turret. Slat armour is able to be mounted if necessary. The idea is to try and keep the vehicle light-weight, yet protect from autocannons and RPGs, of which are the major possible damagers to the vehicle.

The electronic warfare package on the IFV include an ECM electric communications jammer, an IFF provided by Bredford located under the driver's seat, and the option of mounting a "Cyclops" anti-missile shield.

The "Cyclops consists of a similar device to a claymore, using steel shot thrown out by an explosive to destroy incoming projectiles. It has a limited area of effect limited to 10 degrees for each segment, to try and prevent civilian casulaties. The segments have three divided stages, so are re-usable up to a point, and give an all-round protection area of 200 degrees. There are four hardpoints

The latest assault rifle in the Alfegos arsenal is this weapon, the AF-07. It is a step up from the unreliable, often failprone AF-97.

Construction
The gun mechansim is secured in a sealed unit, so that dirt cannot easily enter the weapon, and the interior of the chamber is coated in a special dirt-repelling surfacant, to allow for easier cleaning.

Most of the gun is made from a classified titanium - aluminium alloy for the construction of the working parts and barrel of the gun. The handgrips, removable stock and other parts are made from very lgiht plastics, further reducing the weight.

Under-barrel Rail
The gun was designed to integrate a detachable laser designator, an underbarrel grenade/special munitions launcher rail, or an optional little used bayonet.

Stats:
Calibre: 5.96 x 50 mm AF rounds (can be converted to 5.56 x 45mm NATO)

While the modern battlefield is dominated with highly expensive bits of machinery designed for destroying tanks, using a slightly dated launcher still can give you an advantage.
The AAT-87 was brought into service in 1987, and was designed to provide a usable missile that was guidable by the user, yet did not use the problematic wires, which had failed Alfegos in the AAT-67.
The launcher is still often used by units where the massive expense of the AAT-07 is deemed inappropriate.

Construction

The AA-87 is made from fire-retardent coated GRP, with the only metal parts being the launching mechanism and battery connections. It is re-enforced by 4 bands along the body, helping it hold in the strains of the fired missile.

This makes it very light, allowing for more missiles to be carried by the weapon's team/squad.

On the right hand side is located the battery housing, which holds the batteries used for firing the missiles and powering any add-ons.

To the rear is the oddly-shaped exhaust, designed to help disperse the jet of flame that is released upon launch of the missile.

The launcher features two handgrips, as with only one, the launcher was found to experience extremely poor stability, resulting in the missile possibly flying into the ground in front of the crew.
Missiles

The launcher primarily fires designator-seeking missiles, which lock onto the heat signature provided by the detachable laser designator. These can carry up to a 1 kg warhead, of varying types, such as Tandem HEAT.

However, with the lack of a designator, the missile will just fly in a striaght line towards the target.

The laser can be used to guide the missile into low-flying helicopters, thus giving it a dual use as AT/Anti-helicopter weapon. Hwoever, this purpose is usually left to Stinger Missile Launchers.

"Addons"

The missile is primarily equipped with a sight calibrated for the height drop of a standard-fired missile, with a scale for range to allow for the user to accurately point the top-mounted designator at the target.

For a better team-based firing team, the missiles are guided by a much more powerful ranger-designator, carried by one member, while the missiles and radio are carried by the others. This allows other missiles, such as the Crossbow Artillery AT missiles, to be guided onto their targets.
The use of the larger designator allow the missile's maximum range to be used, and can allow for "volley" shots over obstacles, or even another team to aim at the tank, and the orignal team to destroy the enemy.

For more accurate kills, the launchers given to some crews are fitted with calibrated 3x Telescopic sights, for much longer-range firing.

---------------------------------------------------------
The AICM (Alfegos Infantry Crewd Mortar) is a main part of Alfegos forces equipment, used to pummel the enmy during and before massive attacks prefered by the Alfegos military.

The Launcher

The launcher consists of a light heat-retardant plastic tube, attached to a much heavier steel baseplate. The unit is supported by an adjustable bipod. The mostly light launcher allows more ammunition to be carried by mortar teams, to allow for longer bombardments.

The Targeting Array

The launcher has three modes of aiming:

1. Laser Designator.

Using infa-red sensors, the motar can detect illuminated enemy targets, and give an accurate angle measuremnt to the team to allow them to adjust the mortar.

2. Rangefinder

The rangefinder onboard can be used for targets in the open: it gives an accurate and continous reading to the team to allow them to change the angle to intercept moving targets

3. Manual

For experienced teams, manual aiming is used most often. Using the built in sights, angle gauges and a bit of guesswork, they can bombard enemy targets.
Not reccomended for cadets.

The Projectile
The mortar fires a 60 mm projectile at the enemy target. They can be equipped with many warheads, but have the unique advantage of s special shape, allowing them to penetrate armour more deeply, and give them a longer range.

The sequel to the much criticised AFP 89, the 99 was designed with the purpose of having more use in the military.

It was designed to borrow the action utilised in Glock: the safe action system. This allows it to be fired immediately, without de-activation of a safety. It also allows it safety if it is dropped, so it is not set off.

It also had to have automatic fire, with slightly less powerful bullets to allow the carrying of more rounds, and for more round to be inserted in each magazine, as well has having a much higher muzzle velocity.
