International Environmental Cleanup

Our nation is one who cares for the environment, and dedicates time to that factor. And sure, the air in our country is clean, and our technology is green, but the rest of the world doesn't seem to care for our planet! Oil refineries, dumping waste into water, letting smoke factories run and much more, is killing the world, and with many many billions of people, we put all their lives at risk.

So what are we trying to say? The Republic of Shiloba is proposing an international cleanup, of the environment and to maintain healthy green habits, to help children, preserve earth, help animals and people for generations to come. Sure, it may require some funding, but as a planet we can accomplish anything.

Perhaps all these nations could dedicate some time and money, to helping save themselves, and others.

There is something you might want to know about Vault 10 economy.

Here, there's no government. However, all resources are considered public property (well, property of Vault-Tec, which is considered the representative), including air and water. Pollution rights have to be purchased at the cost of equivalent cleanup.
That might be an efficient strategy.

That won't work this simple. Specific operations will, just proposals won't.

You are right operations will be more effective, but we have to get the whole thing into gear, and then target something and shoot. Taking it one piece at a time will be far more effective then just simply scrambling and doing everything at once. Each nation needs to take their part.

As for the purchase for pollution rights in your nation: good idea, but what's the cost. Perhaps making it very expensive, and setting a limit would not promote the doing of this.

To Environmental Administrator Vitor Ghahard,

We have seen no ill effect on the environment form this so called "pollution". We believe this proposal to be an effort to weaken our economy and military. Next you will be telling people that, guns kill people, or that matches start forest fires, and be trying to ban those too. Thank you but no thank you, peddle your propaganda else were, and have a nice day.

The Urcean people collectively laugh as they dump thirty tons of industrial waste off the Urcean coast into the Atlantic Ocean.

The Stoklomolvi government collectively laughed at you while they dumped four tons of radioactive waste previously buried at least two miles under the surface into the Atlantic Ocean. Then, they dumped sixty tons of medical waste, and four thousand tons of garbage.

ooc: obviously my government would support this, but, stuff like this tends to piss off NS nations, even though its not much more than say Greenpeace or something of the sort as an analogy in real life. If only we could do something about it *wishes nation was the size of AMF*

Your choice. Please understand feel free to do that, but you're killing yourself in the end, sure it may benefit you NOW, but think of down the road. It's an investment for the economy and your people.

:gundge: - that's what you're doing.

RE: Dumping of Toxic Wastes

Its with utter regret that i receive the news of your recent actions. Being one of the many island-nations located in the Atlantic Ocean we see your dumping of radioactive waste in its waters as a grave threat to our nation. We hope that you refrain to any such disrespectful and selfish actions in the future, or else actions will be taken.

I hereby express my full support for your cause. Rest assured that you are not the only nation worried about the planet we have been blessed with. The Grand Principality of Bergelland will provide any support necessary for this noble cause.

Dear Bergelland,

We are glad that you support us. We were beginning to think our nation wasn't meant to be. Yes, the environment is important, but other nations only care about money and economy and not the future. Trust me, this is going to be an investment. One we will soon be thanked for.

Thanks for your support,
Vitor Ghahard
