OOC: I will assume that the ortillery mega-ships described are FT weapons. I previously operated here as a PMT nation, so as not to make my conquest too easy. However, Wadestown's intervention has forced me to bring out the FT forces I do posess which have been extensively RPed before.
Further, because it appear to me this is going to be an FT conflcit, I am making this a separate thread.

As some of you know, I have opposed the current war in Aperin. I have long stated that it would impact negatively the national security of Allanea. I have been proven right yet again. Even as we speak, we are forced to erect the National Defense Shield System over mainland Allanea, and additional energy shields about our larger cities. Even now the navy is mobilizing. Even now, a force of enemy ortillery ship is approaching our orbital space, poised to strike.
We are now under attack by a nation called Wadestown. They threaten us with these ortillery warships, hoping to force us to not only remove ourselves from the long-suffering continent. While – again – I oppose the current engagement, I will not remove our troops under threat of the foreign sword. But they go on to matters which are completely impossible to grant, and any President of Allanea who grants them should be summarily tarred and feathered and ridden out of Liberty-City on a log.
They accuse us of massacring the local population. I note with a certain glee that no massacres have yet occurred in Aperin. All civilians have been treated well, and none have been deliberately targeted by the Army.
As for our casualty record – we have a record of triumphing against numerically superior forces, beating them into pulp, and inflicting hideous casualties on them and their nations. In Yurka, Zenti, Antanjil, New Dornalia, The Prophet, Doomani Egypt, British Londinium, Hallad, Aoogah, Questers, Azaha, New Albor, and hundreds of other places there are bereaved families of soldiers who remember how the Allanean bayonet bites and how the Allanean bullet stings. We have one of the world's best military force and are not ashamed of it.
You speak of the Geneva Convention – a document that went defunct because, basically, it was retarded – and threaten to try Alexander Kazansky, the founder of our nation, under it? Ha! I am a servant of peace, and yet I am forced to tell you this: That will never happen. We will not hand over a single citizen to you to be tried under any foreign law. Not now, not ever.
Let me make this clear to the Wadestown residents: Allanea does not surrender. WE will not 'bow down' to you, even had you a thousand battleships. With twelve of them, it's not likely we'll even take the time to laugh at you..
As of now, the Earth Defense Battlegroup is called to Battle Alert. All ground anti-ortillery defenses and ground-to-orbit systems are at full alert. All our monitor stations are on full alert. The ground forces are at 75% wartime capacity, as some of them are actually in Aperin – moving into Outer Aperin now. Further, and to make the destruction of Wadestown complete and merciless, I am contacting the various authorities of our allies, to make the crushing of Wadestown complete.
We give the United Statees of Wadestown the opportunity to back down within 72 hours. Since we are extremely merciful, we promise to let the Wadestown residents live.

The Orbital Monitor Station Tower of Fury was the first to target the USWS Exterminator with it's main variable-beam cannon. It would not fire, but the crew would understand that they were being 'painted by a weapons sight.
The USS Allanea was the second. The flagship of the Earth Defense Fleet, it was a giant, wedge-shaped monster, more of a space base with drives then an actual warship. It was armed with anti-ship cannon along every surface – not quite as festooned with weaponry as the Porcupine series warships, but since it was far larger then them, it had far more guns. And missiles. And fighter planes, which were even now deploying.
Around the USS Allanea, Wrath- class battleships, Porcupine heavy gun cruisers, Liberty class carriers, Daeron missile cruisers, Punishment gravitic destroyers arrayed themselves. The entire Earth Defense Force was here, two hundred ships and literally thousands of smallcraft. Even now, the Force Projection Fleets were taking off their bases, preparting to join their comrades in righteous battle. More Allanean ships were in-bound from the New Alaska asteroid in the Kuiper belts and from far-off extra-solar bases.
But more to the point, dozens of ground-based cannon were already swinging on target, catching the 'mega-ships' in their sights. Allanean Heavy Engineering Units, too, were rolling out of their hangars, their giant main cannon sweeping the skies with their dual bores, locking down on the enemy. Then, they locked their ground-to-orbit missiles upon the enemy.
And then, as literally thousands of missiles and cannon were focused on every opponent, the Allaneans sent a brief message to the USWS Exterminator:
Unidentified Wadestownite vessel, you are illegally parked as per Executive Order EO-45778-X. Please park elsewhere, for example in Wadestownite territory. Should you refuse to comply with EO-45778-X and the regulations therein, we will be forced to terminate you.
