Today the Prime-Minister and the National Assembly decided to change the framework of the Soviet Republic of Southeastern Greenland and to change it from a Democratic Socialist nation to a Marxist (Communist) Nation. The National Assembly has been suspended in favor of rule from Revolutionary Workers Councils, or Soviets. The office of Prime-Minister has been replaced with Party Chairman of the the Communist Party, the only party currently in the nation after the Marxist takeover. All GNP and Conservatives have been jailed as enemies of the revolution, and they are facing trial by the Revolutionary Workers Councils. This movement came after the recent incident of divide between two factions in the Socialist party, the anti-communist faction led by Georgi Jonson and the pro-communist faction led by Albers Jacobsen (the Prime-Minister), and the merging of the pro-communists with the communist party, thus making a majority. Georgi Jonson and his closest followers have been exiled to Western Greenland. The transition from the socialist government to the communist government was relatively peaceful, and now the workers are in complete control.

Congratulations, comerades. The Belkan people support this change, and look excitedly to see how it turns out. As a nation moving steadily towards democratic communism, we wish you the best. I hope your new regime will continue to cooperate with the Imperium of Belkaros as its predecessor did.

We would like to make the statement that all nations we have established an embassy with or are close allies that that will remain the same, and all embassies in our nation will remain there. We would like to remain in the Utopian Commonwealth and other treaties/charters we are drawn to.

Of course. We too would like to become closer allies. If you need a place to 'dispose' of your enemies, the Nordamus Mountains in Belkaros have some secret labor facilities always willing to welcome a new 'guest'. We can send in an Imperius Inquisitus squad to help seek out further anti-communist elements active in your nation. Of course, the Emperor cannot publicly or secretly aknowledge or approve of these actions, but were he able to, he would.
