I am Death (Murder RP/Open MT)

OOC: I am looking for detectives, witnesses, press. The person I will RP is a murderer, his motives are sometimes clear and others not. I will RP the murderer in first person.

IC:

I killed again today. A woman of about 20, a pretty little thing. If I hadn't been intent on killing her maybe I would have asked her on a date but we'll never know now. She was standing alone in the park, no one was around. The perfect opportunity.

As she was beautiful I felt that I should get it over with quick. A quick death for an innocent, it was only fair. The slower ones will be saved for the guilty, those that have damaged others and the world around them. I wore gloves as usual to stop any fingerprints being left.

I wonder who I will kill next...

The guy has killed before. He moves from city to city as he prefers new settings. The murders began 4 years ago in Resa City, Londim. He always leaves behind a lily beside the body of the victim.

OOC: I wouldn't mind being a witness.

Welcome aboard.

Does he use leather gloves or latex? Leather leaves a distinguishing mark that can be traced as well as fingerprints, so he would need to buy new ones every time.

So either he is rich, or he wears gloves, and is memorable for it. Either way, it's a clue.

Inspector Magnusson took a sip of his own coffee, a frozen mocha.

"Hmm, sounds good. I may have a lead. I am waiting for the lab results on what kinda gloves the perp used. Probably latex, in which case we can put out an alert to look out for individuals with latex gloves. As if it weren't obvious enough.

"But! If it's leather, we should be able to tell what kind of leather it's made from, and we can ID them if we can get our hands on them. Leather gloves are expensive, so we should be able to trace them to the chain of stores they were bought at. If worse comes to worse, we can cross check the people that paid with checks and cards with anyone who has been in any kind of prison, asylum, or even rehab."

The Inspector took another sip of his cold, chocolaty coffee.

"If its Latex, to not leave a finger print it would have to be thick, latex thick enough is sold in liquid form as far as I know, any way There doesn't seem to be a pattern to it who ever it is they must be a drifter or some form of rapid transit" he sipped his hot coffe once again.

"The time frame of these murders seems to be in the evening which suggests he has some sort of job during the day parhaps a traveling salesmen"

"Or he prefers not to be seen. It is easier to go unseen until the last moment at night. Or maybe he is schizophrenic. One serial killer I put away in Yanitaria City only killed at night because he thought that his victims were daemons. Can you believe it? He was afraid of the dark.

"Although you maybe be on to something. He may just have something to do in the day, that requires him to travel. Lecturing physician in scrubs, wearing latex gloves, or maybe a traveling business man who fancies leather gloves? I doubt he is a drifter.

"Back to the gloves, what if I am wrong, and he is using gardening gloves, or rubber kitchen gloves? Used gardening gloves would leave a trace of dirt, and kitchen gloves, if they have been used, cleaning supplies. Either way, if they are unused, they are more noticeable than latex."

IC:

Its been a week since my last kill, you know that 20 year old woman. I think its time I went out again. The sun has gone down so it's time to get another one. I think I'll go to the park tonight. There's always someone there...

A few hours later

This time I killed a guy. He was mid thirties. Strange thing is I saw this guy before at a shop a few days ago yelling at the cashier. I feel I've done that cashier a favour, one less rude customer to deal with. I don't like rude people so obviously I didn't do it quickly. Knocked him on the head first, cut off his ear then his fingers. Slowly cut open his stomach and then slit his throat. No doubt the police will have some fun with this one.

Davidson chuckled at the thought of a criminal thinking his victims were demons "Hmm your right there, any thick glove thats clean wouldn't leave a finger print, all one would need to do is wash and bleach them" he paused for a moment "What about his shoes? shoe prints and foot prints can be as distinct as a finger print in tracking down a suspect" he told him. Little did they know soon a call would come in about another murder.

Dimitri Ruseski had been dispatched to the country by the Republic Department of Investigations. There had been a similar series of killings that had occurred in Anagonia a few weeks earlier. Police Investigators and Civilian Witnesses had left no trail in the end, so when this killing happened it was due time to try another lead. After all, what was a DoI for if not to bring Justice?

Dimitri finished his coffee at a local pub and checked in at a local hotel. This might be a long stay. Cash in the local currency had been given to him accordingly, and there was plenty of it. Backup was nonexistant, so Dimitri would have to go at this alone. However, if an emergency erupted, he had a beacon. The condition for his involvement was strictly investigation, not military. Even though he had been in the Marines a few years, and liked the aspect of backup, he consented to the request.

Bringing an end to the suffering from the families in his home country would take first place in this issue. But if he helped the suffering of others not from his Brethrenhood, then that would suffice as well.

At 0000 Hours military time, 12:00 AM civilan, Dimitri placed a call back to the ADoI to confirm his position and the beginning of his investigation. He grabbed the hotel phone as he sat on the only bed in the room, grabbing a notepad and a pencil as he dialed for the local police district. He would need information.

"Hello? Yes, this is Special Agent Dimitri Ruseski from the Anagonian Department of Investigation. I'm here with special permission by the local districts and I'm here investigating the current murders. Do you mind if I could speak to your chief?"

Jonathan Bannon looked out the window of the C-5 galaxy he was flying in. It was his first time he had been to Londim, probably because the Cazelian government had never been in diplomatic contact with them. Bannon was roughly six feet tall and in his mid thirties, with thirteen of thoe years spent in the marine corps. His commanding officer told him about a murder spree going on in Londim, and he was quite interested in helping in unravel the mystery....

Inspector Magnusson was searching around the crime scene for footprints when he saw something.

It was odd, and seemed to be hard, but gave a little.

He turned it over, and realized it was a human ear!

He looked around the area, and soon found the rest of the unfortunate victim before running 3 feet away to vomit. In 10 years, the gruff norwegian born cop had never vomited.

He picked up his cellphone.

The murder weapon is a knife. The crime scene will have shoe prints from both the killer and victim muddled showing there was a struggle.

IC:

I fear that some areas have now become a bit to dangerous to venture. Police activity seems to be rapidly increasing. I think tonight I'll go to the poor side of town. Lots of people there with nothing to lose. Best head off now.

Hours later

Now I add to my list my first double kill. Lovers they were. I caught them in the backseat of a car going at it like rabbits. Got them both right in the neck so they died within seconds of each other...

Officer Terrence O'Leary was doing a routine patrol of the citys housing project neibourhood. It was a quiet night, he had responded to the usual domestic dispute calls, one for a bunch of teenagers hanging out in front of this local corner store selling crack on the corner like they always were....that situation was a constant thorn in his side, he would respond to the call chasing them away but they would always return that night or the following day.

Unit 2-5, we have a report of a suspisious vehicle parked close to Sunnyvale park, caller said there are occupants in the vehicle and it's been there for awhile, over

O'Leary responded,

"Copy that dispatch, i'll cheak it out, over"

These calls were the most common, suspisious vehicles parked, it usually ended up being highschool kids smoking pot or making out. Terry pulled up behind the vehicle and flicked his lights on, he slowly got out of the car placing his nightstick in it's ring on his belt approaching the vehicle,

"2-5 here, just arrived at the call to Sunnyvale park, cheaking it out, over"

The night was warm and the sky was dark as there was no moon, although stars were scattered above, O'Leary moved closer to the car to hear the faint sound of music comming from the radio...

Bet it's too people screwing around.. He thought

The officer watched for movement from the rear of the vehicle through the back window as he moved along the side, there were two figures in the back seat, they were very still...he tapped on the back side window..

"Hey, common out now...lets go.."

**No responce**

"Hey....you in there..lets go, exit the vehicle.."

He was starting to get nervous, he placed one hand on his Glock.18 on his hip and reached for his flashlight with the other, he clicked it on and seen two people clearly, soaked in blood...

"Jesus christ, lord have mercy...."

"Dispatch, this is 2-5...i have two people, one male, one female, they appear to be deceased....it's a bloody mess here, send backup...over.."

Officer O'Leary, sit tight we are sending you backup, over

Terrence used his gloved hand to open the back door of the car, he stood there watching for any signs of life from the two teens so he could immeaditly put his medical first responder skills to work but to his dissapointment they were for sure dead.
