The motorcade pulled up the Parliament House and by now a the sunny sky had turned into a drizzling mess. A uniformed guard opened the door to the Grand Dukes car and saluted. The Grand Duke got out and was at once greated by the Prime Minister, Gary Rhys. "welcome to Parliament House you Majesty" as the PM extended his hand in order to shake the hand of the Grand Duke. "Thank you Mr. Prime Minister, you know my aide Gordon right?" Marek said as he met the PM's hand and shook it firmly. "Yes your Majesty" Gary replied as he gestured his arm outward as to guide the Grand Duke to their destination. "We will be making our announcement from the Press room of Parliament Your Majesty, it will be a live feed. I understand you have a statement." "Yes I do and I have decided to add more if you don't mind?" Marek said to The PM as they climbed the stairs of Parliament House and another unifromed soldier opened the door to the main building. The PM, Grand Duke, Gordon and the PM's staff huridly made their way across the polished marble floors of the Parliament atrium toward the press room when the PM replied "Of course your Majesty, not a problem." The entourage made their way to the press room where a large herd of journalists had massed. Once the entourage had entered the room a hush filled the large open space. The Grand Duke made his way to the stage and placed his leather padfolio on the podium and took his seat among the chairs that sat behind the podium. Gordon sat beside Marek. The Prime Minister had approached the podium and stood there until he got the signal from the camera crew that they were ready to go live. The crewman gave the signal and the press conference had begun:

"Good Evening ladies and gentlemen. A good evening to you Your Majesty as well. His Grand Majesties government has recently passed legislation that will change how Great Majorca is viewed in the world and will start to foster relationships with other nations. For a long time Great Majorca has been somewhat isolationist when it came to world politics but now we realize that in order to play a part in world politics we must be open to world politics. Last night His Grand Majesty, Grand Duke Marek I signed into law the bill to allow foreign governments the pleasure of establishing embassies in Ostol for the purpose of fostering peaceful and friendly relationships between nations. For the last several years several blocks of real estate have been raized and constructed to support an embassy population. Currently we have four sections set aside for embassies. Each embassy is a three story building contained in a walled compound. Each compound will the the sovereign soil of the respective nation that resides there. Marek stood and approached the podium, he opened his padfolio and began to speak as the journalists began snapping pictures as he bagan to speak. "Ladies and gentlemen and Mr Prime Minister. I thank you for the warm welcome and again wish to reaffirm the Prime Ministers statement and welcome any nation to Great Majorca for the purpose of learning from one another. This government looks forward to recieving you into our nation." Gordon had risen thinking the Grand Dukes speech had been done but her forgot the Grand Duke said he would be adding something to his statement. The Grand Duke continued. "My daughter is currently seeking a suitor and has started to make her place on the international scene and within the political realm of Great Majorca. As of this moment I create her Princess Areen, Crown Duchess of Great Majorca and Princess of Wynn with the title of Her Serene Majesty." Marek then closed his padfolio and left the stage area and out the door. A stunned Gordon followed behind him as exited through the door. The Prime Minister started to field questions from the press corp.

The embassy district is quite small and a larger district is under construction as soon as His Majesty signs the bill to open it up to foreign sovereigns. We have assigned you Building 1 on Block A on Richard Street. In the near future when the new district is completed you can petiton a transfer to the new district which will allow sovereign governments the ability to construct to their needs. But I must reitterate, we will not allow any military bases or nuclear weapons on embassy grounds.
