Kurr was a small island that had just been discovered by Cripistan. It had a population of only 60 millon, and many natural resources. Cripistani Forces had went to the island to speak with the natives. Cripistan had origanlly requested the nation join the nation as a province, but they did not respond. The official that had went to negotiate dod not return, or send a message. This was a sign of aggression towards Cripistan, and military action had to of been enacted.

The Federal Republic condemns this blatant act of aggression and imperialism by Cripistan. The Cripistani desire to possibly rescue government officials is understandable, but the mobilization of a 2,000-strong military force to do this, rather than sending a small unit to contact these officials and, indeed, determine whether they are actually in any distress, is completely unnecessary at this stage. Military action may be justified once it is proven that the officials have been intentionally detained or harmed by the governing body of the island, but not before. As it stands, this move is clearly a thinly-veiled attempt to seize the Island of Kuur and forcibly incorporate it into Cripistan.

Mr. Lammert,
We wish to find our men, before we do any military actions. It is not even certain that there will be a conflict. We only want to find our officials, and then speak with Kuurian Delegates.

Kuur was nor far from Cripistan. Only 200 miles seperated the 2 nations. Cripistani forces landed on the lands of Kuur. They were greeted by explosions and gun fire. They fired back. Cripistani planes dropped small bombs on Kuurian positions before being shot down. The battle lasted 6 hrs. before Cripistani forces had cleared the beach. 1200 men lay dead. 800Cripistani forces, and 400 Kuurian soldiers. This had alreay gotten bloody. Nobody knew if this was the worst to come.

We do not wish to subdue the nation. That is why only 2,000 soldiers have been sent. And for the news network, that information was incorrect. As you have heard on the broadcast, the reporter had set that there would be "more as the story develops". An attack was expected, but not enacted.

Same situation? This is no where near the same. I knew you had my men, and your people could understand mine, where as, as you said you do not know where your people are, and these native might not have even understood them. We now have proof that these Kuurians have modern weapons. We believe that they may have been influenced by some other nation. We have no idea when this nation was formed, but someone must have been there before our people.

[OOC: The blockade occurred before page 5 of the extermination thread, which is where you left off. Kontor essentially played it out for you until page 7, where we stopped. Then, we return. Not much happened during the 2 pages except the fortification of the blockade and the retrieval of the prior and the (deceased) monk.]

10 Aðgætni Class Battleships and 46 Philip Tonstung Class Destroyers were sent to protect the Island of Kurr from the approaching Cripistan invasion. An emissary was sent to island to investigate what had happened.

Makeshift Port, Kurr Island

Four plain-clothes Stoklomolvi officers, on the opposite side of the island of the attack, took several crates of munitions off of a small yacht-like boat and placed them on the wooden pier, where several natives waited. The Russian-speaking natives were able to communicate easily with the officers.

"Is that all of the crates for this month, sir?"

"Yes, that is all for this month. However, we have given you five extra crates for free, as you can see, due to the invasion by that nation over there."

The officer pointed somewhere in the distance. Then, he jumped into the boat and started up the engine.

"Thank you, sir!"

The boat took off towards the larger cruise ship that awaited.

As the Beatusian Diplomatic vessel approached Kuur, it spotted a port. The diplomatic vessel raised the Beatusian flag and approached the harbor. When it reached the harbor, Mr. Jibbers got off the boat.

A note to all nations who wish to aid Cripistan; we would advise you to look into Cripistan's human rights history as well as previous actions committed by Cripistan. They attempted to perform an ethnic and religious genocide of citizens living in Cripistan, and they previously detained two Betusian nationals whom they refused to release. They also murdered one Stoklomolvi diplomat and severely injured the other, one of whom because insane after terrible treatment by the "general" who received them. The other was shot in the leg and was held at a Cripistani medical facility. We urge all nations to review the Cripistani human rights log before proceeding.

OOC: With 800 soilders dead on a beach, out in the open? No way. unless these natives had millions of spears and Crips soilders where missing parts of there brains then maybe. And if they lived in grass huts them being able to kill 800 soilders is an extreme godmod since obviously these natives would have never used a gun in there life.

[OOC: In a previous post I remember stating that I have supplied them with guns for the past few months; I think they would have at least some practise. Also, note that I did not send them anything other than munitions; I cannot stress this enough, since they could still live in grass huts and be proficient with foreign guns.]

After a few debates, the Federation Armed Forces in the Cripistan Region have decided to send the troops kept as a reserve during the anti-genocide operation to Kuur to assist in protecting the island. The ships in the blockade will remain there, but the ground forces aboard them will be deployed to the area on Kuur where they are needed most. Please respond with desired location of reinforcements.

Official Government Message:

Upon noting that foreign forces made encounter more severe resistance and upon completion of a full investigation into crimes committed by Cripistan, we have decided that our original deployment will not be enough. In order to fully protect our interests globally, assist allies and assist in maintaining global security, we announce that we are issuing the following demands;

1) The nation of Cripistan is ordered to remove all foreign soldiers from Kuur.

2) All government officials inside of Cripistan are ordered to turn themselves over to Orbathain or allied forces.

3) Any nations currently supporting Cripistan are also ordered to cease.

As soon as these demands are met, proper elections will take place inside of Cripistan. Until we can assure it is a fully stable nation, a military reduction treaty will be signed.

If these demands are not met, Cripistan will be met with the force of the Orbathain military.

Orbathian Defense Headquarters

Some of the highest ranking officials sat around a large cherry finished table. They bounced ideas off of each other, trying to figure out the best plan of action.

''Mr. President, our forces are tied up around the globe, we can't properly project our forces.''

'' I looked at the reports, we still have a very large naval group, we can assist in the blockading. Satellite images show that the blockade doesn't have enough ships.''

The Air Force General backed up the President.

''We've got plenty of air power, we can cripple them.''

This time the Minister of Defense spoke.

'' If we utilize our forces correctly, we can pull the best defense is a good offense card. Rather than soften them up for an invasion like we would normally do, we will eliminate their ability to project themselves. We can target their naval ports and air fields, that way we keep them in one place. If they still chose not to surrender, we have plenty of willing nations that will invade.''

The President was sold. He issued orders to various air and naval units across Orbath. He then sent a message.

To Stoklomolvi:

After seeing what this nation is capable of, we wish to assist in the blockade of Cripistan. At this time, a naval group is being readied inside of Orbath. Also, our air assets are preparing to deploy. We will be conducting stealth strikes against major naval ports and airfields inside of Cripistan. In the mean time, a submarine group which was currently conducting training exercises, roughly 20 hours time from Cripistan, will be redirected to the blockade.

Islander say what?!?!?!?

Shock spread accross the nation spread today, as a lone fisherman from Martainiqua that has visited the island of Kuur before the conflict occured returned and shared his information about the people living on the island. Apparently the people of Kuur speak a similar language to those who live on the island of Martainiqua, a colony of Zoingo. Everyone in the nation was stunned today, as translators in Canalive University confirmed that the language was indeed very similar to that spoken on Martaniqua. When word reached the 500 parliament members in session, about 25 of them fainted, the house leader had a heart attack, and the president has confined himself to his residence. This has claimed to be of an utter coincidence, but in the eyes of many, this is tragic for the nation that could be framed.

The bomb, disguised as a freight train car, was loaded on too a large ship at a time when there were no foreign spy sattelites overhead. The crate was loaded on too the cargo freighter FRE-93. Ostensibly owned and registered by the Tech-Com Corporation, the freighter was secretly sold too the Red Tide government and scheduled too make a run too a foreign nation, its route would take it right past the island of Kuur.

The crate itself was buried under many more crates of the same size, these ones containing patatoes, the number two food item exported from Red Tide(the first being grain). All the personnel on the ship were actually enlisted, noncoms, and low-ranking officers of the Red Tidean Intellegince Commissarat disguised as sailors. Their HCC(Hallucagenic Control Collars) had been swapped out for HCIs(Hallucagenic Control Injectors), implanted in their brains.

They were 100% loyal and would follow their orders too the death. In this mission, it would be their death.

We acknowledge that, and all natives still stuck on the island after a period of 56 hours will be forced to die. We are only evacuating those who are close to the shore, as we will not wait for all natives. Also, we do not know the topography of the island, and as such we are not completely sure exactly how large the island is.

(the blockade wasn't lifted, but he also said the majority of my nation was blockaded. I said before that they left from a port in the northeast which was never involved in the blockade, which therefore is still open. Thats how the first troops got there, and that was never stopped was it?)

People began to line the coasts of Kuur. Some laughing, crying, or sleeping. Many military forces stayed behind to make sure that and hostiles didn't take advantage of the evacuation, and slaughter the millions of people leaving their homes.

Foreign Minister Gromkyo watched the expression on General-Secretary Basvorich Narmonov's face carefully as he read over the message from Zackaroth... then he put down the map and leaned forward, towards Gromkyo.

"Did you know..." He began, "That there is oil on that island?"

This surprised Gromkyo. Oil was the most desperately needed natural resource in Red Tide. Although the Southern Mountain Provinces produced uncountable amounts of copper, iron, coal, bauxite, and other such strategic materials and offshore rigs provided the nation with its Natural Gas, oil was the one natural resource that Red Tide never had in abundance... or for that matter, had at all, Red Tides last oil wells had dried up in the late 90s.

"Comrade* General-Secretary," Gromkyo said, "How much oil are we talking about?"

"A field big enough too supply us for several decades. Our own geologic survey sattelite picked it up. Its in the NorthEastern half of the island..."

Gromkyo knew what was coming next, and he knew that it would be good for Red Tide.

Sure enough, Narmonov said: "Perhaps, we should deal with the Cripistanis and Zackarothians... secure our own section of that island. It would go a long way too helping our economy and give us bases in the region."

Zackaroth is very intent on securing the island for itself. But we are not idiots and believe we can make a deal. Zackaroth will be willing to give up another island it has in it's possesion. The land has remained untouched, besides for a small military base. The last time we checked the island may be a bit bigger then Kuur and is plenty in resources such as urnaium, pockets of coal and a large of amount of oil in and around the island. While we believe it may not be as much as Kuurs, we are willing to give your nation half the oil we drill up every month from Kuur. The four F-40s began to veer torwards the west side of the island. As they closer, they started to unload there missles all upon the beach at anything that looked remotely like a fortfication. Twenty more F-40s lifted off to help out with the mission. On the other supercarrier, fifty crop duster planes where getting veered up and ready to go. Zackaroth had not used this in attack in a long awhile....they where going to show Cripistan the horrors of war. Namely, chemical warfare

" It is 4AM here at the capital building. Around 2hrs ago, the President requested that all of his cabinet meet for a retaliation against Zackaroth for killing all 4216 soldiers on Kuur Island. The meeting was disrupted when 50 heavily armed men entered the meeting room killing the President and all 11 other members of his cabinet. These men call themselves "Beatusian Loyalists" and the mastermind behind this, Tyler Eclston is now the acting leader of Cripistan. We will have much more on this story as it develops."

Zackaroth soilders rummaged through the dead of the Cripistan soilders. Mosts where burnt to a crisp from the attacks by the missle attack. Most of the dead where being dragged to a huge fire pit that sent black smoke up into the air. They didn't bother to try and send them home since officals did not want to bother with the damn blockcade. Meanwhile most other soilders had been broken up into squads to search around the island for any more enemy forces that could be hiding.

With the recent happenings on the mainland, people were not as concerned with Kuur right now. The government had been overthrown, and the new leader was about to give a speech. But first, he requested a meeting with Jim Lange of The Beatus.

The immigrations officer stood aboard one of the massive ships. He was counting exactly how many Kurrians were on his ship alone.

The officer instantly blew on his whistle. Five SMPF officers rushed out of the ship and tackled the supposed Cripistani. He was taken down to the rooms for the "odd". Inside, there were small, yellow, cushioned cells. Most of them were for the "mentally challenged" and the "insane" or the "suicidal", but there were three other Cripistani nationals who were being held. Once they reached Stoklomolvi, they were to be sent back to Cripistan. The officer continued to count.

Zackaroth had fortfied most of the western beach torwards the end of the day. Setting up camps and machine gun nests. The ships off the coast where running around the clock, scanning for an threats. The fighter jets where kept on high alert in case of any enemy backlash. It was not expected from Cripistan, but no chances where being taken.

Zackaroth thanks Stoklomolvi for removing those who do not want to stay. It prevents unesscary blood shed and destruction that would happen when Zackaroth starts to settle the entire island. You have brought up a very good point. Those troops were not ours at the time. Also, we are aware of the abundant oil on the north eatern part of Kuur, and would like to know if you would need anyhting in exchange for some of the oil?

While it is true that the Republic of ChristianFlorissant is a relatively new nation, we are still a member of the world wide community. As a member of the global community it is the right and duty of ChristianFlorissant to comment on events affecting the world. The government officials of the Republic of ChristianFlorissant have reviewed the events surrounding the Island of Kurr.

First, the Republic of ChristianFlorissant is aghast at the bullying tactics of the United Provinces of Cripistan. The unwarranted attack upon the peaceful island of Kurr by the military forces of Cripistan is clear evidence of Cripistan's warmongering diplomacy. Despite the apparent change in government, the Republic of ChristianFlorissant will approach its relationship with the United Provinces of Cripistan with extreme caution. Furthermore, ChristianFlorissant would also entertain the convening of a international tribunal to look into Cripistan's action on Kurr.

Second, the Republic of ChristianFlorissant was also shocked by the excessive measures taken by the Dominion of Red Tag Rising. ChristianFlorissant believes that nuclear weapons are evil devices created by power hungry nations. We also believe that all nuclear devices should be dismantled and outlawed. However, even if the ChristianFlorissant supported the use of nuclear weapons we would be equally appalled at the actions of Red Tag. As a show of good faith, the Republic of ChristianFlorissant request that the Dominion of Red Tag Rising publicly dismantle the 100 megaton thermonuclear device in question.

Next, the Republic of ChristianFlorissant would also like to express its disgust and anger at the actions of the Republic of Zackaroth. Zackaroth's transparent excuse for annexing the Island of Kurr fails to hide its greed for resources and land. What is worse is Zackaroth's treatment of the rest of the world. Zackaroth must think that the other nations of the world are fools with their glass-like story of protecting the Kurrans when Zackaroth was really after the natural resources. The truth is that the Republic of Zacharoth stole the Island of Kurr from its rightful owners: The Kurrans. Thus, Zacharoth is neither different or better in the Island of Kurr Incident then Cripistan. The Republic of ChristianFlorissant urges that the Island of Kurr be returned to the Kurrans. At a minimum, the Kurrans and Zackaroth should be 50/50 partners and split the money made from the resources.

Finally, the Republic of ChristianFlorissant is angered over the little concern shown by the nations involved for the Kurrans. The one exception to this is the Communist Dominion of Stoklomolvi. Although evacuation was not the best option for the Kurrans, Stoklomolvi should be commend for being the only nation stepping up to help the Kurrans. In this spirit and in the spirit of our compassionate nature, the Republic of ChristianFlorissant offers one million tons of food to aid Stoklomolvi in caring for the Kurran refugees.
