History: Way before the United Democratic Federation was established, the 7 continents, those floats in the middle of a massive ocean gathered around a large sea, were separate and wild entities.
The first known civilized people came to these continents from Europe and the Mediterranean, in 500 BC, it was said that a fleet from Rome carrying Gaul salves, Egyptians and Romans were swept off course attempting to venture in to the Atlantic. Several months passed running low on food and water they spot land one of the seven continents, the continent of Adriatic. Named for the sea in the roman world, as they went ashore they met, a clan of natives, the natives were called Adriaticans, by the wrecked shipmen. The two bands of people quickly became friends; several years passed the wrecked people, and had built a village. And more or less the Adriaticans, had integrated with them. The Romans had brought agriculture, sanitation, and other little known ideas from the outside world, which the natives had no comprehension of. In 250 BC the kingdom of Aegea as it came to be known in the years following the establishment, was thriving, it had a number of cities. Up and down Adriatica’s coast, and small forts and border towns about 400 miles inland. Having no knowledge of how to establish contact with the lands of the east, (Rome and Europe) It was mainly isolated and Growing. Attempts to sail east were dangerous and foolish at the time. Adriatica was located in the tropics; just on the equator up north was a more Mediterranean climate.
The continent of Loran (now known as Tyrian) was home to a large empire, mainly focused with trade, it was an aggressive empire however, in 400 AD it had subjugated nearly all of its neighbors, and other small island kingdoms in the main sea. Aegea had already fallen on its own sword so to speak, it was weak because of other factions within Adriactia were weathering away at its armies, and its internal politics were becoming unstable. By the time loran had established its first colony, Adriatica was united under the Imperial republic of Keldon.

The first continental union:
By 1360 AD Loran, Keldon, the Bantu republic, and various other continental unions that made up the 7 continents established the transcontinental alliance, an alliance that unified in peace the 7 Continents. The entire affair only lasted for fifty five years. By 1405, it had collapsed, resulting in a massive intercontinental war, wreaking havoc upon the 7 continental states. This state of war and cold war was to last until 1570.

Second continental union:
The second continental union was a loose confederacy of the remaining kingdoms and republics that were not destroyed in the first Intercontinental war, Formed the Continental Confederacy. This collapsed as well but lasted much longer than the first one it lasted from 1570 -1690, Contact with the outside world had long been established, and trade was continuously happing between the major powers and the continental confederacy. By 1690 however it had once again receded in to anarchy.

The Modern Federal Union:
The current incarnation of the Continental Union was established in 1725, in a primitive state known as the order of the continents. By 1750 during the democratic enlightenment period the order charter that was taken from the first union, was molded and reformed in to the constitution for the modern United Democratic Federation. After the contusion was formed nations gathered at Long island city Long island city was a village at this time across the river from Liberty city. It was designated the capital of the New union after signatories fell in love with its quiet nature. They met at Long island city town hall, just in the center of town. After the document was signed the seven separate countries became known as the United Democratic Federation of the Federal Union, the first democratic super state on earth.

Notes:The F-7 Poseidon is the brain child of years of Federal R & D, Looking for an effective way to gain air superiority, Thus the F-7 Poseidon was born, utilizing the most state of the art systems in the Union, this plane is capable of Interceptor roles and Air superiority, its 3D vectoring thrust engines Ramjet engines are a new addition of Federal craft. The F-7 Poseidon will be a fighter that will remain in service for years, as its technology as comparable to some of the currently advanced fighter craft in service with other air forces today. The Fighter will replace current designs for air superiority fighters. The main reason for congressional funding of the project and approval in such a swift manner is that other forces in the world have aircraft that would pose a threat to current designs and to catch up and equal these threats a new aircraft was born, thus the F-7 Poseidon was born.
The F-7’s engines as motioned in the short specifications are 3D vectoring ramjet engines, Utilizing fly by light control surfaces; the engines can Push 50,000 LBF, with an afterburner thrust of 55,000 LBF. The engines also use a liquid hydrogen injection system. That injects liquid hydrogen from small tanks for extra thrust in to the middle of the ramjet crating a boost of energy.

The sensors: the sensory systems of the F-7 are state of the art Utilizing triple band Pulse Doppler, LIDAR and phased array RADAR systems, these systems are also tied in to a tactical net program that lets the craft gain information on terrain ahead from satellites other aircraft or ships, this information is processed by the main computer core and then sent to the all LCD displays with in the cockpit, as well as to the canopy itself. The cock pit has 3 displays, 2 main and one axially display all LCD. Another system is also tied in to the sensors; it’s called NTIES (nearest threat Identification and engagement systems. The canopy itself is an LCD crystal display using fiber optic wiring, it automatically tracks targets, targets the nearest enemy fighter. An auxiliary display is also available. The electronics package also includes auto GPS and automatic remote guidance for missiles, as well as next generation ECM and ECCM systems. The GPS link up is accurate with in tens of meters.


Missiles:
The Silver strike 2 (Designed in The Federal Union by Confederate Arms) and is a 2 meter long Dual staged Air to Air missile equipped with a chaff cluster, its sensors are upgraded LIDAR/RADAR, with the capability to home in on Passive/active radar ECM and ECCM, it is powered by liquid oxygen, and the second stage has a vectoring thrust nozzle to guide the missile. It can home in directly on aircraft using active RADAR/LIDAR, ECM or ECCM suits; it also has an optional heat seeking ability. The missile can turn and vector any which way and has a rather long range, Using the UD-101 Liquid propellant rocket engine, it is a fire and forget missile with auto tracking, and guidance. The silver strike two is recently undergoing an advanced sensor upgrade program which will fit pulse Doppler sensors in the missile however this will extend it to 2.5 meters.

The Javelin Missile is powered by a solid engine rocket; it is a medium range anti radiation missile equipped with LIDAR/RADAR and laser guidance. It is the chief missile in the UDAF. It has a moderate range; the upcoming Javelin 2 missile will use vectoring thrust for increased maneuverability. The current javelin does not require line of sight or painting by the aircraft because of its auto guidance systems.

The Super side winder:
The AIM-102 super side winder is 1 meter short ranges anti radiation missile that dose require lock by air craft, the super side winder is guided by laser and radar, and is used in short range dog fighting. Recent improvements have added auto painting by laser that will not require aircraft to maintain lock.

The UD-61 20mm cannon, is a standard Vulcan gun mounted on the wing root or nose of aircrafts, these cannons fire 20 mm HE rounds, and have a short range.

The F-7 Poseidon is equipped with a multi bladed RAT or Ram air turbine that produces power for critical instrumentation and avionics should power loss on the aircraft occur. A RAT can also be used to land the plane in an emergency however it would be very difficult because the plane would have to glide. It would also be unadvisable to attempt to land the aircraft using the RAT at high speeds, because the plane could not use its thrust reversers to slow down before making a landing.

The aircraft is supposed to cost 112 million F$ per plane decreasing over time due to available production facilities. The entire project cost ended up costing the UDAF over 70 billion F$.
