Well, first thing I noted was that your army size is tiny compared to your nation's actual population. Your army is only one third of a single percent of your nation's population! If your country is as large as the real Afghanistan, then this army is completely insufficient to defend your nation.

Our nation is rather poor after just recovering and stabilizing from a 10 year civil war and we cannot afford to hire and train new soldiers let alone purchase new equipment and maintain it.

In that case, does your nation have lots of militiamen or men and women eligible for military service? Or does it have active guerillas in support of the government? A nation recovering from a civil war should have quite a military, whether it is trained or untrained. Think of the United States Civil War or the Chinese Civil War; the loser was destroyed or fled to an island, while the victor dominated with a large active military that was soon disbanded.

Actually this is a large Guerilla presence in the mountains but they are apposed to the current Communist Government and more then likely plan overthrow it. As for the civil war there where no real armed forces mainly civilians with weapons, our Government is still trying to collect the large amount of small arms still in the population's hands.

You know, the real Afghanistan has three times his population and less than twice the size of his army. It's nice to see a new nation who is secure enough to not try and make their military as unrealistically large as possible. :p

Sure, that would be great!

The white Cessna Mustang buisness jet with purple stripes on its side and wings, known as International OneFoxtrot, touched down at an airport near Quandahr. The woman inside, a lanky Lebanese-Brittonian woman wearing a darg brown skirt, a white blouse, and a thin tea green hijab, the headscarf worn by observant women of the Islamic faith, Foreign Minister Nabila Katchab shifted in her seat and drank what was left in her Arnold Palmer, a non alcoholic iced tea/lemonade cocktail drank by many Brittonian Muslims, and then waited for her envoy to arrive. She would stay inside the airplane and have her meeting with her laison there, there was a less of a chance for a wiretap or a bullet in the brain.

"Sir, they are here" said Private Siyyid towards Ambassador Musheer Halil Shaykh, "Well let us go meet them" replied Ambassador Shaykh. Shaykh and another man in a suit as well as two soldiers entered a Black Mercedes-Benz W124 and proceeded towards the plane. The car came to a stop and the four men stepped out. Private Siyyid started up the ramp to the plane and Shaykh held is hand in front of him and said "You and Omar wait here, we don't want to make a bad impression", he then signaled the other man in a suit to follow him as he proceeded to the ramp...

OOC: That really means nothing. My nation has just increased its military to 0.56%. When my economy was 'Reasonable' that number was 0.31% and when the nation was smaller, my military floated around 0.18-0.21%.

Congrats on your factbook Afghanazistan. I really liked your map.

The door to the airplane was opened by the inside by a flight attendant and thhe Foreign Minister stood up, stroked her hand against her hijab, and said with a cheerful, happy tone,
"Hi, welcome in. I'm Foreign Minister Nabila Katchab, sit down. Salaam alaykum", she laughed a bit and then said, "I'm sorry, It was tht when I was told I was to visit a Muslim country. It is the first time I've ever done si, so I'm really excited. I'm sorry about that."
